F4S: He does what He says He'll do! He's never missed even once.

He does what He says He'll do! He's never missed even once.

“When our trials come, when we feel pain and suffering, when our tears flow again, it is our joy and comfort to lift our faces heavenward and to go on, standing on the promises of God.” ― W. A. Criswell

Man, every time God keeps His promise I feel like sayin' something! Yeah, totally feel like bragging on Him again and again!

Sometimes we just need some encouragement, and recalling what God has done can do just that in the now and in the future for us. Remember what He's done for you and thank Him.

Every Bible prophecy even with all the details has thus far come to pass with great accuracy. Think about it. There really aren't that many left that need to come to pass in the future.. but they too will come to pass and this to me speaks LOUDLY.

Lord Jesus, You are so SO good!
For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory. 2 Corinthians 1:20 #emph.mine

[Abraham] was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises. Romans 4:21

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Hebrews 10:23

Since you are in Christ, I have made you an heir of all My promises. Galatians 3:29
"Standing on the promises of Christ my King,
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest, I will shout and sing,
Standing on the promises of God.
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God!"

He hasn't forgotten you, He's seen all you've done in obedience to bless His Church and others and He is the One who rewards.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, [in that] you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:11-14 nkjv

Let's be careful with every promise that we each make or don't make.. and then keep all our promises as well! Holy Spirit, please help us not be flakey with our words, attitudes or deeds. It's being a good witness for Jesus to keep our promises and that's what we want!

God, speaking through the prophet Isaiah to the Israelites who were in exile at the time, reminded them of what He had done for them in the past (in Isaiah 43:18-19 esv). He keeps all His promises -- all of them and He is never late.

Remember, yes God says, “remember how I brought you out of slavery in Egypt, and your enemies drowned?”

“But forget all that—” God goes on to say, “It is nothing compared to what I am going to do.*

“For I am about to do something new.”

“See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”

“I will make a pathway through the wilderness.”

“I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

God has already saved you, believer, and He has given to you the Holy Spirit as a foretaste of the glory that is to come.  And what is yet to come will be even greater!  Far greater!  As you face the fresh start of this year, ask God what new thing He wants to do in your life, and in your Bible teaching church, and in your city too.  Pray that God’s Kingdom will come like a nice path in and through the wilderness (even though the circumstances here are not always so nice) and like a refreshing river in the parched desert. There are many around us each week that are famished. They are SO thirsty and very hungry and yet.. many of them have no clue what they are really hungry for so they try to fill up on the worthless chaff of this world system.  Dead religion doesn't satisfy or save anyone.  The bars and nightclubs don't either. Jesus can satisfy and forgive anyone.

You and me, we can point them in the right direction -- to the bread of Life, to the living waters of life. Come as you are to Him.. willing to be changed by Him. Ask Him to forgive you of any wrong-doin’s too. He will.

"Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me." John 14:6

Q: What’s the last promise found in the Bible (you know all of them of course are important)?

“Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” ~ JesusRevelation 22:7-21
