Christian, There Is Only One You …and One Unique Way in Which God has Worked in Your life to Bring You to Faith in His Son!

People around you might think that you have always been the way you are now. Are you all fanatical and flipped out for Jesus—more dangerous than a terrorist in their minds? Hey, I'm totally bananas for Jesus and I don't mind saying so! They don't know that you used to love many of the raunchy, worldly or twistedly destructive things that they love today ..and used to dislike many of the things that they now dislike. And some of them appear to be intimidating and have it all together. They might come off as very moral people with no needs ...but even the richest of them are empty, lonely, guilty and at times.. afraid to die.

I used to be a drunken mocker of Jesus freaks at Dana Hills High with my friends and around townI was literally an enemy of the cross thinking I was against merely an off the wall fringe cultic group, but God changed all that. I wasn't even a good student in my BC days and I still make lots of mistakes in telling my story, but it's the only one I've got. God has been so radically gracious to me (..a hardheaded rebel)He changed me from the inside out (still is workin' on me. I should wear a sign: Under Construction) and I'm so grateful too! Now it's time for us all to fish by wisely telling people in this messed-up world what exactly happen to us and how God had mercy on us.

Biblically, every real Christian will have a testimony ...for tactfully and respectfully sharing with others. Do you have a salvation story? Are you still on an undercover mission—a covert MISSION FROM GOD? Be not ashamed of the Gospel or of Jesus! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so loud and clear... but not so loud you hurt their ears!

Could all that God has done in your life up to this point, Christian, help to inspire someone else? The answer is "No!"… absolutely not …if you keep it to yourself as some secret agent saint would do. Pray for divine opportunities and boldness. Don't hide your light under a bushel-basket, let it shine out. Remember, it's only Good News if it gets there in time.

So what exactly is your story?

A powerful testimony comes from purity of life and a 100% commitment in Christ—a life that's totally consecrated and vertically connected with the right Person (JC) …and also one that's horizontally concerned. Your testimony can be one of the most useful fishing-tools in your tackle box if you just get out there and tell people! Do pray that God will lead you step by step each day in sharing! The Bible says:

"This is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son" (1 Jn. 5:11).

"They overcame him [the devil who deceives] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death" (Rev. 12:11, emphasis mine).

Go for it Child of God—go for the Holy One in prayer and then expect Him to help you live it.

Holy faithfulness is God's standard for a good testimony.

I lived so that all whom I met could see His Holy Spirit shining through me; O friend, is this what our hearts can say as we sit and think at the close of day? —Nicholson
