Be a hundred percent genuine, sincere, authentic as you primarily stay focused on the Lord's Presence.

Go vertical before horizontal. Want to bless the Lord and then make an impact? How? We can pray, invite, go fetch and be used of God to impact people. Don't ditch your sense of humor, but take some time to just relax and to be still in God's presence, waiting on His Word ..to hear, to grasp, to wisely apply. Relatively few do that (), but many lack His peace and power for a good purpose. The Bible says...

“In everything, then, do to others as you would have them do to you. For this is the essence of the Law and the Prophets. Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the way that leads to life, and only a few find it..” ~ Jesus, in Matthew 7:13

Yes, with your face upturned just to absorb His loving radiance if ya will. Just as you are.. come apart before you come apart -- you'll be demonstrating your trust in Him. 

You can do this, Sport! You can worship with the right address on that.

Vertical worship can impact -- can also unintentionally turn out to be a horizontal witness. See this in the Bible. As this world grows darker out there, we Christians need to pause, to praise and in His power.. shine brighter! Be watching, balanced, mature, alert, sober-minded.  

Too busy is overrated. Remember in the Bible when Martha was over-serving and his sis Mary chose the better part.. sitting at the feet of Jesus. 

"And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end," Hebrews 6:11

"We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain.." Hebrews 6:19 

You don’t get to Heaven by earning your way in. You don't get in by living a moral and good life. And you don’t end up in Hell by living a bad life. Heaven is not for good people; Heaven is for forgiven people -- forgiven sinners like you and me. Everyone who turns from their sin (repents) and trusts in (faith) can go to Heaven. Jesus is the way, the Father's Plan A and there is no plan B. This is why God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for us on the cross. It was in our place..for us!

It’s a satisfying intimacy thang -- the best kind of it really. To know Him well, and from that.. to make Him well known. Do you know He’s alive.. do you really know Him? Have the waters been deep, has it gotten kinda dark where you live, had some difficulties -- have ya been through some hard times lately? Don’t waste your sorrows. Put em all..and you into His hands.
