What Jesus tells us in John chapters 14 and 15 helps us in this respect. He compares our life as a Christian to a tree so to speak. The tree gets its nourishment, (via sap I guess) and edifying-power from the sap flowing through it.
That’s like the Holy Spirit in us. When we stay tight with, stay connected to Him, we can produce godly fruit that glorifies Him. This fruit has eternal value and represents a changed life–little babies can start to grow and produce fruit in Him! You know how Galatians 5:22-23, the Word names these fruit as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. With Christ and his good character – what could we desire in our lives more? Have you yet turned and trusted the Lord? Do you have Christ inside?
