Sup with heaven Brawda?
Well, a lot of people talkin’ and singin’ about heaven ..sadly, SO SADLY ain’t goin’ there.
You know that, but we really want em all goin’ there, so we aim to carefully explain the Gospel. #BePrayerfulSaint
Any sorta “religious” deeds just doesn’t cut it. Ya can’t earn your way.. in. Jesus Christ is the only Way. Turn and come now ..just as you now are.
Heaven is mentioned more than 500 times in the Bible. Not different levels in heaven ..to earn by works as some cultists teach.
You knew there are three heavens–Paul was caught up into the 3rd one–into paradise. Atmospheric (blue skies), Space with stellar galaxies with planets, and the unseen heaven where God lives–our future pre-millennial destination. So close.
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am…” ~ Jesus, in John 14:2
Heaven–a very real spot, a place, not some positive energy force or upbeat state of mind..not some product of religious imagination or the result of a psyched-up mentality, looking for “pie in the sky by and by.” That’d be lame. Yes, Jesus pictured heaven as a very loving home where the Father dwells. “Mansions” in the Greek it’s actually “abiding places,” speaking of the permanency of our heavenly Home.
I think hell is down there somewhere, but that heaven is up. What.. up where? Sure, I think so. Up. Remember when Jesus ascended up? Not totally sure yet, but the 3rd heaven is.. a country, a prepared location for a prepared people (check the original language meaning), a celestial city, a Kingdom–it’s my Father’s house.
