After a person has repented for real and believed in Jesus, can that Christian ever lose their salvation?

Did you go to or see Harvest America this year? Did you give your life over to Christ? You still can do that--of course you can right now. That's the most important decision you'll ever make. And then you can start to follow Jesus Christ! What a great adventure
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. —Philippians 1:6
Thousands here in Texas where I live just gathered for this nation-wide event (that's seen around the world really). Yes, we joined together with my SoCal pastor @GregLaurie for the Lord at Harvest America at AT&T Stadium. Was so great as always and over capacity. I saw them out the window..thousands of people trying to gain entrance. And some texted me from their cars after a while, cuz they decided to get back on the road home after there was no way.. realizing they needed to get home to watch it on their TVs. Hey no worries with me because I know these friends. They were already born again growing Christians and we all still had great joy over seeing what the Lord was doing--what an excellent problem. A too full stadium for Christ! And at the end of the whole "thang," when Greg was drawin' in the net if you will--givin' the altar call appeal / invitation, the football field there also reached capacity as well. The fire chief and the team had to redirect, yes, had to send those responding to the Gospel to a back room to pray to receive Christ. I've never seen that happen before. You know the field is pretty big and the harvest is ripe for the harvest. Loved it. But about that question above.. are you now in Christ as a new creation?
If you are really a Christian, you will:
1.) confess that Jesus is Lord and allow Him to lead as Lord--you'll continue on in His word.
2.) obey the commandments of Christ, found in the Bible and find fellowship with other growing believers.
3.) be miserable while sinning, and return from it to pleasing Jesus biblically.
4.) keep yourself from the devil, and being negatively influenced by his crowd that's headed in the wrong direction and into sinning.
5.) walk in the Spirit instead of in the flesh--you'll love others no matter where they're from or what they look like. (Read 1 John in your Bible)
The Bible addresses this question...
"Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy.." Jude 1:24
"He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life." 1 John 5:12-13
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." John 5:24
"The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God.." Romans 8:16
"Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." Hebrews 7:25
"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand." John 10:29
"Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Ephesians 4:30
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes has eternal life." John 6:47
"For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39. Did you make a decision to follow Jesus? START.harvest.org And let's get ready for next year. It'll be in and from Atlanta!
