Sickness can be a wake-up call. Getting fired could be a wake-up call. Missing a crash on the freeway is a wake up call.
On September 11th here in the United States of America we had a wake up call. It would appear that we for the most part ..hit the snooze button, elected several dreamers asleep in the night, and ourselves.. fell back asleep.
Did you know.. there were actually many ships sending messages to the captain of the Titanic to be wear and look out for ice in the area.
The Titanic sent a message back.. shut up we’re busy working. That was before they got the real wake up call kissing a big one.
Daniel 5 in the Bible is a wake up call. A hand writes on the wall, and the pleasure party is interrupted. It’s a wake up call. You’ve been weighed in the balance and found lacking.
God uses a number of things to get our attention because he loves us. Sometimes we see his sense of humor in it. His mouth still works, do our ears? He’s been speaking but are we listening?
Do you remember that Prophet Balaam? His donkey gave him a wake up call and started talking to him! Some people are easy to work with and others are not. Paul the Apostle was also hard-headed so he got a blinding light. Fell to the ground, heard a voice, and was born again. Has your pleasure party been interrupted by the Lord? I’m praying that we see a biblical revival, not some strange false-televangelist type of a money grubbing revival, but an authentic awakening that spawns tactful evangelism! It’s high time the Church of Jesus Christ wakes up?
How bad do we need an awakening? Real bad, worse than we’ve ever needed one before ..one that will start by defunding Planned Butcherhood that was started by pleasure-seekers sleeping around in the night. A real revival can put it and other destructive industries out of business for good. It’s Christ the Revive-er we need–in love He alone brings revival! But He never does it alone, he works in and uses the Church as we plead, as we pray, as we intercede for people. Revival, and awakening..they're both free gifts and this can start with you today. No time for spiritual slumber. You can do the opposite of dozing off, you can be made wide wake up today.
"Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed." Romans 13:11

Lord, many have missed what you’ve done in the past to awaken among us, but we want to be a part of what you’re doing in this earth today. Don’t want to miss a thing. What can we learn? We want to be right in the middle of what you doing here, pleasing to you. Father God, in Jesus Name make us as more than triple shot strong expresso-awake like Jesus is, and use us like an effective alarm clock so that others can stand up, walk in the light, and be blessed to become a blessing.
