Why not remove what's unnecessary

..and be for what's all the way non-ignoble / base? Why not live for ..in close connection with.. the most noble One, and let the Father transform you into Christ's image so that you'll increasingly shine in this dark world as you resemble Him?

The Bible says, "Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." 4/23prov. I'm talking about matters of the heart here. You know how "ignoble" has to do with baseness, lowness, meanness and what's dishonorable (I don't mean what's of low birth or of common origin here). None of us really need to be dishonorable, or think dishonorably, or live in some base-dishonorable way. It does no one any good.

Believer would you pray something like.. Dear Jesus, Thanks for coming here, for dying here, for leaving that tomb here. Happy Birthday! Please take my heart, my mind, and my hand, and give me this I pray: that I through Your Spirit, through Your truth, and through Your agape love.. may grow up more noble like You are. I want godly character and integrity. Create in me a pure heart in me, soft and pliable. No room for ego, please make me a vessel of honor fit for noble use in your Kingdom and church. So many still need to hear Your Gospel Message. Open new doors, refill me again, and make a way where is no way. Amen.

"Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold." ~ Leo Tolstoy

Truth doesn't change and God doesn't either, but we can. Do you know Him yet? For Christ's Birthday, why not give Him what He desires?...all of you right here and right now.

Hey, don't know bout you, but I sometimes just need some help in this sanctification process..in "removin'" and in adding what's really good to my walk. Why not we as individuals just submit and obey the Lord? Why not subtract, delete, jettison, ditch what's base and ignoble from our personal character. Yeah, I say we sow to the Spirit instead of to our old fleshly nature ..that tells us to do what it tells us to do (see Galatians 6:8)? Why should any add in what's ignoble and base, or hang uber-tight with those of ignoble morals, attitudes and thinking?

It's a new day and we can start again. We can have a new beginning and add into our walk what truly nobileifies (new made up word) for growth's sake.. yes, what helps, what adds value, and what edifies you as well as others. We can fully trust. We can add by prayer, by faith in God, by good deeds of obedience done, by simple study and practical application of God's noble Word.

"Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness.." 1/5two.pete

Been musing over adding and subtracting, and better time management: Now in a wealthy home there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also ones made of wood and of clay, and some are for honorable use, but others for ignoble use.  "In a well-furnished kitchen there are not only crystal goblets and silver platters, but waste cans and compost buckets—some containers used to serve fine meals, others to take out the garbage. Become the kind of container God can use to present any and every kind of gift to his guests for their blessing. Run away from infantile indulgence. Run after mature righteousness—faith, love, peace.." c2/20-22two.tim.msg. Sure, we can pursue the Lord with godly, mature, fully committed spiritually reborn believers who are serious about this.  facebook.com/shareJesus
