When it seems like the evil people keep winning and like decent citizens keep gettin' mowed over by them, just keep trusting in the Lord relationally. Forgive, and let Jesus be the good witness He already is through you. He can heal, comfort, restore, provide and fight your enemies. If they won't repent, He will judge them, stop them, and take vengeance so you don't need to.
When we glance at these trying times today, it’s so important that we boldly walk in love, wisely stay focused on our totally just God and His eternal Word.
And just rest in the Lord, and wait on Him, and worship delighting in Him. Sure, we can still watch, pray and be practical. I challenge you to commit your way to the Lord. Do see Jesus high and lifted up. When all seems so out of control here, He is ultimately in control. You won’t see that through earthly eyes, but you and I will see this with His perspective. It’s no time to fret, worry, become distracted or anxious with the wrong focus.
"Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3
Time is nothing to God, He’s not affected by time. There was a time not too long ago where Hitler and his thugs were raveging the nations and peoples of this world, and then one day God who really hates sin said, No more! That’s enough!! All dictators more or less like him (of Fascism, of Socialism, of Communism etc.) come to and end. They will not inherit this earth.
Remember V-E Day, that moment of great celebration when World War II was over. Remember V-J Day and then even more celebration?
The earth is the Lord's, we can learn from him and our trials, and the meek will indeed inherit the earth.
In God’s world it pays to know and follow Christ, even when it doesn’t look like it. Every knee shall indeed bow and every tongue will one day soon confess that He is Lord. We are on the winning team.

The wicked plots against the righteous

To cast down the afflicted and the needy,
To slaughter those who are upright in conduct those with personal integrity and godly character.
The sword of the ungodly will enter their own heart,
And their bow will be broken.
Better is the little of the righteous [who seek the will of God]
Than the abundance (riches) of many wicked (godless).
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord upholds and sustains the righteous [who seek Him].
The Lord knows the days of the blameless,
And their inheritance will continue forever.
They will not be ashamed in the time of evil,
And in the days of famine they will have plenty and be satisfied.
But the wicked (ungodly) will perish,
And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures and like the fat of lambs [that is consumed in smoke],
They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.
The wicked borrows and does not pay back,
But the righteous is gracious and kind and gives.
For those blessed by God will [at last] inherit the land,
But those cursed by Him will be cut off.
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord,
And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].
When he falls, he will not be hurled down,
Because the Lord is the One who holds his hand and sustains him.
I have been young and now I am old,
Yet I have not seen the righteous (those in right standing with God) abandoned
Or his descendants pleading for bread.
All day long he is gracious and lends,
And his descendants are a blessing.
Depart from evil and do good;
And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever.
For the Lord delights in justice
And does not abandon His saints (faithful ones);
They are preserved forever,
But the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off.
The righteous will inherit the land

The law of his God is in his heart;

I have seen a wicked, violent man [with great power]

But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;

Those who wholly trust in the Lord enjoy security, but there’s full on insecurity for the wicked. Let’s tactfully tell them the Good News if they are open to hearing. Any can repent and believe, can turn and trust God’s only way.
“When good people run things, everyone is glad, but when the ruler is bad, everyone groans.” Proverbs 29:2
We have technology that can take the number from a piece of plastic and instantly verify proper funds, to the penny, in a bank account and then transfer that money worldwide in seconds precisely and accurately. Q. Why don't we have a system that ensures that one person gets one vote?
