Is there something betta.. yeah, far better? Let's pray for our cities and Lands!

Our cities, our nations.. need the Lord today. We too. There was more rioting in the USA and it started in Atlanta. The mob burned down a Wendy's. A thug was abusing, attacking, hurting ..in fact he had police on the ground punching them trying to kill them. Not small cops either. He wanted to kill these Cops.

We need to see citizen-reform far more than we need police reform in America.. but we need to have repentance and regeneration happen in individual hearts more than that. God can change people and situations (I post pleasant photos instead of gory on this site). Pray for a biblical revival in churches, and an authentic spiritual awakening in our Land.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life. This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us [in] whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him." 1 John 5:13-15

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

“And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.” Matthew 6:7

“I will trust and not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.” Isaiah 41:10
Father, help us to trust in your Son Jesus. He's our strength and our song—our salvation!
Our nation faces a perfect storm, the pandemic on one side and injustice on the other.. We turn to You who never change, whose nature is love, whose power is unlimited, whose knowledge is complete. We confess our inadequacy, our vulnerability, our need. Help us to fix our eyes on Jesus. (Malachi 3:6; 1 John 4:16; Psalm 68:34; Romans 11:33; Hebrews 12:2) Continue with personal prayer...
We pray for our leaders who are pressed on every side by troubles...
You are the only God, and we come to You on their behalf. They are being criticized and pressured, and we pray they will not give up. Help them to turn to You for wisdom in addressing the pandemic and social reform. (1 Timothy 1:17; 2 Corinthians 4:8; 16; James 3:17) Continue with personal prayer...
Because You tell us we have not because we ask not...
We ask You to help us to get past the threat of the virus that has crippled our economy, overloaded our medical system, and caused so much grief. We ask You to heal the hurt and the loss suffered because of racial injustice. (James 4:2-3) Continue with personal prayer...
Protect our first responders...
Lord God, You are a sun and a shield. May the light of Your presence dispel the darkness of this disease and violence in our world. Shield those who have stepped forward to protect and provide for us during this pandemic and social unrest. (Psalm 84:11) Continue with personal prayer...
Comfort the children who also feel shell shocked...
Precious Shepherd, carry the children close to Your heart. How frightened some must be in these troubled times. How anxious, because of parents’ stress. How unsettled, missing school, sports and activities. Hold them close. Calm their spirits. (Isaiah 40:11) Continue with personal prayer...
Enable the work of those seeking viable solutions...
People are hungry to know the Lord. Please help those who are searching for the effective tests, medications, and vaccines to discover them quickly. Guide those considering how to respond to demands of demonstrators into Your path of peace. (John 14:26; Luke 1:79) Continue with personal prayer...
Use these crises to bring spiritual awakening...
So many are frightened and seeking answers, not knowing where to turn. Give them a heart to know You, that You are the Lord. Send someone to them as You sent the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles, someone to share the gospel. (Jeremiah 24:7; Acts 26:17-18) Continue with personal prayer... In Jesus’ name, amen.
Lord, we look to you to intervene in our cities and lands -- to stop the violence.

No matter where you are or what you've been up to.. pray without ceasing

Watch and pray so that you will not be pridefully self confident, stumble or fall...
