“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” —1 Thessalonians 5:11

Sometimes I run into people who experience panic attacks and I just wish I knew what to say to them.

Never had one of those, but I think it has to do with feelings of fear in them.
Got some anxiety? Here are 14 Bible Verses To Get You Through A Panic Attack...
Isaiah 43:2 ...Lamentations 3:22-23 "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail." ... Matthew 17:20 "He replied, 'Because you have so little faith'". ... Psalm 23:4 ... John 13:7 ... Romans 8:18 ... 2 Timothy 1:7 ... Psalm 147:3-5 ...Hebrews 13:5 ...Jonah 2:2 ...Exodus 20:20 ...Psalm 121:2 ...Jeremiah 29:11 ...Matthew 6:34 ..."Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Always prayerfully meditate upon and check em out in the whole neighborhood context).
How do you feel about that lifestyle you are now in -- do you feel any anxiety, fear or a bit worried ‘bout it not turning out like you thought it would?
If so, man, so sorry about that. God still loves you and has a good plan for your life (it's true, no lame cliche).. even when it’s not so comfortable. Ask Him about it -- you and I want to stay in His will cuz that’s the best place to be no matter what your emotions might say or demand of you.
Have you had a panic attack, or some other emotional type of attack?
Do you ever feel overwhelmed or like there are just too many things that you can’t change about your life, that you really want changed? I've been there before.
What do you get worked up about or fret over?
Do you ever feel kind of trapped in a routine that seems to be going nowhere -- you just want to escape into a life of better circumstances or pay?
Have you gotten yourself into a commitment of sorts that you thought would turn out one way, but with time it has turned out to be totally different than you expected or was explained to you? I hate that.
1. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad. (Proverbs 12:25 NKJV)
Can you think of a time when someone you respected gave you a good uplifting word of encouragement that set your mind at ease and made your heart feel glad?
2. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. . . And we urge you, brothers and sisters.. encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.. always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. (1 Thessalonians 5:11–15)
When was the last time you prayerfully dug in the Bible for some uplift and with those Scriptures... became a real source of encouragement, inspiration and help to someone in your life? When was the last time you ran into someone feeling down? Can you think of someone you can build up today?
What does God say on solace for hurting people...
3. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.. (Isaiah 66:13 NKJV)

Got a growing Christian friend who likes to intercede? Are you married to a believer?

The couple the prays in the name of Jesus.. experiences supernatural power over all fears, trepidation and the circumstances of life. Pray out loud together -- you can stay together, see all needs met, and overcome. You can go the distance with victory.
