Returning.. really? Ya ready? For you really... when?

"In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.” ~ Jesus (John 14:2-4)

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life -- there's only one way in. Is that so? Yes, in the Bible He tells us that He is the way into the Father’s holy heaven.
All will appear before Him.. us sinners who have broken His commandments.. and the Books will be opened.
The "Lamb's Book of life" too (Revelation 21:27). Will your name be found in it?
Such a very plain, direct and lucid promise for you... for me! What a blessed hope! I love it.. cuz I love Him. Because you can know and love Him too.
It’s this Jesus Christ of the Bible, it’s this glorious Lord of the whole universe, it’s this same King of kings, this gracious, gentleman and God of all creation. The God-man (100% God and 100% man) is indeed coming again as He said. Hasn’t broken one promise yet. Yes, He never has, and never will.

For a lonely, poor invalid in a poor and lonely room..that room lackin' paint and attention. Lacking much. What a great promise!

For the bored teenager looking for a friend, skating over trash and other living or dead obstacles in a huge and cold city.. what a promise of hope to take hold of!

For the homeless beggar in that tent with his cute but mangy dog out on the street corner.. who was busy, then laid off when the big company chose to downsize. What a hopeful and stirring promise!

For that single mother.. or overlooked grandmother.. or great grandmother, and..

For that old man.. forgotten by so many men, forgotten by so many kids and others.. sitting there in his advanced age.. all alone in his senility and seemingly unditch-able heartache. What a glorious promise to grasp on to.. to simply believe!

Jesus: And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. niv

When everything is ready, I will come and get you.. nlt
...I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. bsb
I will come again and receive you to Myself.. nasb
After I have done this, I will come back and take you with (believer).. cev

Is Jesus actually returning for believers when many people here are so engulfed in their care?

Will He real.. s o o n? Yes.
But “soon”.. that term is such a relative term isn’t it? You know.. is it relative? Can be. If you are microwaving popcorn, soon means within the next three minutes. If you are awaiting the birth of a child, soon can mean anything up to nine months. So when we ask, “Is Jesus coming soon?” we have to qualify the meaning of soon.

Jesus Himself said that He is coming soon: “He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon’” (Revelation 22:20). And then John adds these words: “Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” John’s book was penned nearly two thousand years ago, which leads many people to wonder what Jesus meant by “soon.”

The Greek word tachu, which is translated “soon” or “quickly,” means “without unnecessary delay.” It does not mean “immediately.” The same word is used in other places in the New Testament, but, interestingly, it is used most often by Jesus in the book of Revelation (Revelation 2:163:1111:1422:712, and 20). The meaning seems to be that events have been set in motion that will usher in His arrival without any unnecessary delay. Everything is moving along according to God’s timetable.

Peter reassures us that God is not dragging His feet concerning prophetic events. God’s timing is perfect: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). In this light we may understand that Jesus is coming “soon” in that God’s plan is advancing and is only delayed to allow for all the elect to be saved (Romans 8:29Ephesians 1:5)—a necessary postponement.

The Bible teaches that Jesus’ return for His church is imminent, which means the rapture could happen at any moment. The apostles seem to have believed that Jesus would come back in their lifetimes. They referred often to the “last days” (1 Peter 1:201 Corinthians 10:11Hebrews 1:2) and urged believers to be ready. It appears that Jesus also intended for us to believe in His imminent return, because He often urged His followers to “be ready” (Luke 12:4021:34–36Mark 13:33). Because no one has known or can predict exactly when He is coming again (see Matthew 24:36), we should live in the expectancy that He may come any moment. That seems to be Jesus’ point in not being more specific. He wants every generation to live with the conscious awareness that the Lord may suddenly appear and we will have to give an accounting of the way He finds us (Luke 12:38). To answer the question, “Is Jesus coming soon?” The Bible says Yes. I agree and say, “Yes, He will come without unnecessary delay.”

Can I urge you, strongly compel you to come in faith? May I persuade you ..somehow. He still loves you! Come to Jesus now.. yes, now is good. As you are. Just as you are
