Why not travel where they travel .. instead of away from the people all the time. Travel how they travel, perhaps live at or near their socioeconomic level that they live at. Hear the music style they like and know why they like it. Speak (clean) what they speak -- I mean the nation's language. Uplifting.. showing respect for the people and good things in their culture. To connect with people, learn their needs, know their great value, adjust your tone, wisely walk with em at their tempo -- travel at their speed. Sense of urgency.
