Someone.. capital "S" loves you and guess what... you can love Him back, believer.

You -- capital "Y". Thanks for today, and for a better tomorrow. I love You, Lord.

I like to go on purpose..and tell. There's good news that needs to be heard. I go and see and visit and hear people, sometimes I listen better and than other times.. all over the place go. Life is short and there are gobs of needy people. Directed service in the Lord makes an impact. Be filled with His Spirit and overflow with his joy and truth.

Why should I only find nice places to stare at ignoring what calls for my / our attention… or go to those places forgetting here, or those who live next to me? Man, so many places could be cleaned up into nice and safe places to raise a family. Listen Buckeroo, everything rises and falls on leadership. Too much has been fallin’ downwards. Got some real leaders where you live? Good.. do you? Check out their track record well.

Good idea -- let's ditch all misled and misleading leaders, the deceived and deceiving ones.. no matter the side they say they're on. Factoid: San Francisco has more drug addicts than students enrolled in public high school. Some leaders hang together and destroy everything they touch..every city they so called.. lead. Hey it's time to ditch all the Libs in areas of leadership and theology. Why let lame-brains continue to lead people to their own hurt? Leave them alone, Don't listen to their worldly wisdom -- so destructive!

What I like ..gobs.. my garden, the desert to visit, church and it's Bible, the beach fall asleep on, the moon up there, the stars, a gentle rain, people and their Lands, the deep blue sea, a warm breeze, your hand in mine and the One who made us (yeah Jesus).. the most! But not particularly in that order.

Spiritually are you Cold, Lukewarm, or Red Hot? Are you dead inside, carnally minded, or spiritually balanced in Jesus? God wants you passionate about the word of God -- Jesus Christ.

One day, God Himself is going to right every wrong that's ever happened. He’s going to turn it around for a lot of people who have been burned in their earthly experience. He'll bring beauty out of ashes and joy in place of the mourning. It's 100% gunna happen. You wait, you watch, you'll see.

I say we turn, trust and re-fall-in-love with the Lord choice. Spend time with Him as your Lord.

Why wait to know and serve Him wholeheartedly? May I ask... Are you red hot passionate for the living word of God (that’s the Lord).. or are you more lukewarm spiritually.. or perhaps even chilly inside?

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect." —1 Peter 3:15
Do you spend some time with Jesus daily, or like to talk about Him and what He has done for you? You know.. out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.
So what do you speak about the most? Will it long satisfy?

Do you enjoy curlin' up with His Book? Not just any book. And with some espresso or tea? And enjoy long musing on what you read?

Yes, do you meditate upon or memorize the truth found in the Bible and have a heart to properly put it into practice daily?

Cold, Lukewarm, or Red Hot -- where are you at spiritually? You can know Christ well, be well, and make Him well known.

"And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment.” John 3:36 nlt

Decide today -- for the Christ of the Bible. Most important choice you'll make. No hyperbole.
Sure Jesus died for you... in your place and mine cuz we’ve had some wrong-doin’s.. but he ain’t that way any more. No more dead.

Bible daily and wisely applying it -- good idea.

Who saw him alive after he wasn't? After the cross? The Bible says that many saw Jesus.
“He appeared to Cephas and then to the Twelve. After that, He appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. Then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.”
I want you secure long term, not briefly... no longer than that.. really. Even longer than you can imagine. Heaven is a real place and you can begin to taste it here if ya will by walking with the Lord.
"The Lord is a mighty tower where his people can run for safety." Proverbs 18:10

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” —1 Thessalonians 5:11

Sometimes I run into people who experience panic attacks and I just wish I knew what to say to them.

Never had one of those, but I think it has to do with feelings of fear in them.
Got some anxiety? Here are 14 Bible Verses To Get You Through A Panic Attack...
Isaiah 43:2 ...Lamentations 3:22-23 "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail." ... Matthew 17:20 "He replied, 'Because you have so little faith'". ... Psalm 23:4 ... John 13:7 ... Romans 8:18 ... 2 Timothy 1:7 ... Psalm 147:3-5 ...Hebrews 13:5 ...Jonah 2:2 ...Exodus 20:20 ...Psalm 121:2 ...Jeremiah 29:11 ...Matthew 6:34 ..."Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Always prayerfully meditate upon and check em out in the whole neighborhood context).
How do you feel about that lifestyle you are now in -- do you feel any anxiety, fear or a bit worried ‘bout it not turning out like you thought it would?
If so, man, so sorry about that. God still loves you and has a good plan for your life (it's true, no lame cliche).. even when it’s not so comfortable. Ask Him about it -- you and I want to stay in His will cuz that’s the best place to be no matter what your emotions might say or demand of you.
Have you had a panic attack, or some other emotional type of attack?
Do you ever feel overwhelmed or like there are just too many things that you can’t change about your life, that you really want changed? I've been there before.
What do you get worked up about or fret over?
Do you ever feel kind of trapped in a routine that seems to be going nowhere -- you just want to escape into a life of better circumstances or pay?
Have you gotten yourself into a commitment of sorts that you thought would turn out one way, but with time it has turned out to be totally different than you expected or was explained to you? I hate that.
1. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad. (Proverbs 12:25 NKJV)
Can you think of a time when someone you respected gave you a good uplifting word of encouragement that set your mind at ease and made your heart feel glad?
2. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. . . And we urge you, brothers and sisters.. encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.. always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. (1 Thessalonians 5:11–15)
When was the last time you prayerfully dug in the Bible for some uplift and with those Scriptures... became a real source of encouragement, inspiration and help to someone in your life? When was the last time you ran into someone feeling down? Can you think of someone you can build up today?
What does God say on solace for hurting people...
3. As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you.. (Isaiah 66:13 NKJV)

Got a growing Christian friend who likes to intercede? Are you married to a believer?

The couple the prays in the name of Jesus.. experiences supernatural power over all fears, trepidation and the circumstances of life. Pray out loud together -- you can stay together, see all needs met, and overcome. You can go the distance with victory.

Want harmony in and out of the home? Set the right time and pray with her, husbands. Yes, earnestly with and for your wives. They have needs that you can meet, and some that you can’t meet.

Touching, tender, and top priority. It’s an intimate thang. It’s blessed of God! It's about worshipping the Lord together--you two were created for Him.
Yep, it’s about waiting on Him. It's about helping one another too. It's about hearing both God and her voice, guys. It’s about sincere vertical candor, trust, expectation, and selfless concern for each other. We pray so He can hear us and respond with power. Christians, our main aim isn't so people around us hear us. The weird Pharisees of old primarily prayed on street corners so that others would hear them out in public and feel impressed.
This is SO needed for couples daily -- cuz when we’re together praying or apart praying for each other (like when away working in order to pay those bills), we both need the Lord who provides, helps and guides.. to come through and answer us. What do we hear from Him. Yes, No, or Wait is what we hear (He answers every prayer). And His timing is perfect, He knows best, and He delights to bless and take part as Lord in our relationships.
Seems like I often learn more about my wife (Liney’s) needs, 'bout her longings and her dreams when she is casually praying with me, and I am thrilled to join in for her sake. I pray that she will continue to live happy, and blessed with all needs met. God can do it--the big stuff isn't too big for Him. She has some spiritual battles that she faces at her office at times, that I don’t face or fully understand, but Jesus does. We all have some battles, believers.
Plan a time to discuss the “First Steps You’ll Take” with your wife in this.
Impact: God uses individuals and couples to make a positive impact in this world... if and when we are praying in faith. God calls us to be a good witness at home and in the world. No room for unbelief. A frequent routine of prayer together dramatically enhances marital relations by improving marital trust..along with spiritual and physical intimacy. Be active in a healthy Bible teaching Christian church with an on-fire (saved spiritual, instead of carnal, religious or worldly) pastor. And pray a short or longer prayer before you go, so you won’t have a fight along the way. Mr. Lu-Cifer (the devil) likes to divide couples and rob them of JOY etc.

Typical Obstacles For Some:

• INTIMIDATION: Many men want to always come off strong with no needs. They can feel awkward about initiating prayer with their wives because some perceive her to be more spiritually mature (and some wives are). But you don’t need to be a spiritual giant to lead in this area, husbands. You just need to initiate and point to the ultimate Solution for your marriage which is Christ. The couple that prays together can stay together and give witness of His love. Saved husbands are called to be the spiritual leaders in a marriage, and saved wives are to be the spiritual challenge in the relationship--equally valued and loved.
• BACKGROUND: Some grew up in homes where honest prayer was silent or non-existent. God is not religious so none of us need to work beads or say religious form prayers--God through His Son Jesus Christ is our only focus when we pray. Praying out loud in front of others can feel uncomfortable to some. Men, start by holding her hand. Holding hands while praising and praying silently together..and then perhaps squeeze hands when you are done, or when it’s their turn. Do graduate on to “one sentence prayers” from the silent praying--it’s good to come into agreement with each other when praying. Still feel awkward, just take baby steps.
• SCHEDULES: Jobs, kids, travel and other life realities will get in the way. Piggyback your prayer habit onto existing routines (e.g., bedtime, driving, etc.) at least twice per week rather than setting lofty but unattainable goals.

No need to act all hyper-spiritual, churchy weird or even spooky. Keep it plain and simple -- just start like you talk in a casual friendship. Sure, you already know how to start a conversation with your friends--so it's important to keep it that simple. Perhaps discuss the following with your wife before launching a simple prayer routine together.

1. How will we pray? (Choose a place to start. I like to write down some basic needs -- her’s first and some things to thank the Lord for.)
❑ Silent prayer while holding hands
❑ One sentence prayers about shared concerns
❑ He prays while she silently agrees
❑ She prays while he silently agrees
❑ Take turns praying out loud

2. What will we pray for/about? (Mention 2-3 in each category.)
❑ Giving Thanks
❑ Our Needs/Concerns
❑ Our Kids/Grandkids
❑ Our Dreams/Goals
❑ Family/Friends/Acquaintances

Doesn’t have to be long or complicated at all--sometimes when she’s hurting inside.. it can be longer of course. Not loudly praying for her. It can be whispered prayers to God for her--He loves you both most, so SO MUCH and wants to see her blessed more than you do. But nothing is more intimate for a couple than that. Praying for each other's needs.

Be United, Harmonious, Joyful, and in Prayer--Be Of The Same Mind In The Lord.

Turn all your concerns, fears and worries into prayers.

The Bible says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.” Phil. 4:4-8

3. Guidelines for overcoming prayer obstacles:
❑ Humility with faith: Act confident even if you don’t feel like it. Agree that you are just two of God’s cherished children seeking help rather than some spiritual giants hoping to inspire or impress one another.
❑ Silence with hearing Him: Recall the Scriptures you’ve together read. When either of you doesn’t know what to say, agree to mention a topic of need and then pray silently.
❑  Reminders: You want to stay together in love (so many don’t). You want mature spiritually--fully grow up into all that God wants you each to be. You want to be what the other needs you to be according to God’s wisdom and word. Either can “nudge” the other back on track whenever your prayer routine wanes. You can pray over the phone when away taking turns. No guilt or remorse.

A couple important things.

There still seems to be such a lame push to make church as unlike Christian church as possible.
Still so many words that churches are opting not to use in song or talk today like: sin, hell, repent or the blood of Jesus. It's just moronic and wrong.
Think about it. If you fell deep into well, broke your leg and couldn't get out.. wouldn't it be smart for a concerned passerby.. determined to rescue you.. to talk about that situation, the solution-option for you. Yes, you know, to plan some..and talk about that well you're stuck in.. the depth of it and the way out.
It's the prince of the power of the air.. that gets a lot of help from dead religious folk.. is still dead-set against people seeing the light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ. The Bible says...

"And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment." John 3:36

"We believe with our hearts, and so we are made right with God. And we declare with our mouths that we believe, and so we are saved." Romans 10:10

Feelin' Grateful For You -- Not A Little Bit!

Thanks for the Bible, Lord. (That's His heart-felt love letter to the believer).

Even though it's not too complicated, I just can't seem to get to the bottom of it. Need wisdom to daily apply.

Been asked to teach verse by verse for some weeks again in Genesis on Joseph in November at Prestonwood, 6801 W. Park Blvd, Plano TX. November 3, 10 and 17th at 11 am.

Really wonderful people here. Join us if you can and bring a friend. Askin' the Lord who knows the needs to use -- yep, to make us a blessing.

I love the story of faithful Joseph!

He had some dreams, some gifts, but He loved the Giver of gifts the most. Joseph’s path from slavery to success was lined with trouble, testing and injustice. But with God directing each step, Joseph’s journey was a triumph of faith! Take time to examine God’s perfect will and His timing in Joseph’s life. This offers practical tools to help you gain that eternal perspective in your own life. Important. Joe started off with a many colored robe, then a slaves robe, then a prison robe, then the robe from Pharaoh. From age 30 until he was 110 Joseph ruled in Egypt--for 80 years. In prison Joe found out God really loves him. Problems should produce a sense of dependency -- they come to show us how much we daily need God (see Psalm 139). Problems prepare us for real ministry. There is no more beautiful ministry of the serving sufferer like the ministry of this sufferer to others suffering. God can use you--the suffering brings about a heart for hurting people.

Christians have some trials, tribulation, troubles, temptations and tests, and God allows some believers to go to prison. He wants us to grow, learn -- God uses this time so we can be the people He wants us to be. We want Easter without Good Friday, we want the gain without the pain but our Father has another plan.

God broke Joe's heart in prison, and made him a servant. The Bible says, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Joe got the right ring, the right robe, the right babe, the right kids -- look he drives the 2nd chariot. So right! Being a student is more rewarding when you cooperate with the teacher. In the same way, being a believer is more rewarding when you cooperate with God the ultimate teacher. Please consider the importance of accepting God’s training schedule for you, and consider this... how it really helped Joseph in his own rags to riches rise from poverty to that special position of power (Prime "Minister", Vice Regent, the top Administrator, Viser reports directly to the King).

The promotion and blessings weren't just so Joseph could selfishly swim in the gravy or sit soak and sour, NOPE, they were for him to enjoy as well as be used of God to rescue people (all have ginormous value). Yes, they were freely given and redemptive -- for God's worldwide missionary purpose so to speak. God has you others in mind--He delights to bless, save and use people. He is SO really into..REALLY REALLY INTO.. saving needy, hungry.. even starving people who would die. He wants you and lots of people to one day in heaven with Him. That's why we carefully explain the gospel.

None of God's blessings terminate upon self. Not given for stopping. Zero do. We are blessed to become a blessing for others. Like Joseph have you suffered some loss? Are you hurting now. Don't waste your sorrows as many opt to do, just glorify the Lord!

“The devil, things and people being what they are, it is necessary for God to use the hammer, the file and the furnace in His holy work of preparing a saint for true sainthood. It is doubtful whether God can bless a man greatly until He has hurt him deeply.” ~ A. W. Tozer

The story reminds me of these passages. The Bible says, "His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ 23 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord." Matthew 25:21-25 nkjv

"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?" Luke 16:10-12

While you're at it on your knees this week.. please pray for Ken Fitzgerald, Jody Wallace (leaders), Christian, Nathan, Stephan, Heath, Nanners, Shiloh, Stephan, and fifteen fantastic Global Media Outreach missionaries that I've been responsible for: Mike, Bob, Henry, Lisa, Gregg, Tony, Elizabeth, Greg, Penny, Cindy, Jay, Susan, Terry, Jimmy, Sandra as well as my wife Liney who has been ministering a lot to youngsters this whole year. I pray that God guides and graces them all! She and I are planning to be in SoCal, DC, Florida, Baltimore and in four places out of the country.

Perhaps you need some hope? Maybe you too have some prayer requests for us to lift up? Don't be too shy to let us know.
Why believers wisely put their hope in the Lord. Just think about what we learn in Genesis regarding Joseph's teenage struggles and later on:
  • No enemy is really more subtle than passivity.
  • No response is more cruel than jealousy. Solomon was right when he said, "Jealousy is cruel as the grave" (Song of Solomon 8:6, RSV). There's no room for the inequality -- I mean favoritism in a fam, church or workplace (all of God's kids are His favorites). What can manifest from jealousy? Cruelty can. Jealousy can manifest in super mean happened to Joseph. If it's allowed to fester inside, it leads to tragic and devastating consequences. If you don't address it, if it's allow jealousy to rage within your family like between your children, guess what.. you are asking for trouble.
  • Since God is all powerful, no action here is more powerful than prayer ...with the right address attached to it. (It's a faith thang. To the Father in the Name of Jesus His Son). God can turn around the worst situations.
If it's so and the right time.. helpful, edifying, inspiring, necessary and Christ-honoring.. I want to say it. If it's His will, I want to do it. Nothing more. Thank you friends for your encouraging words, insights and prayers!  214.810.6239
