He's still there for ya. Always has been. Heaven is thrown in as a plus.

Jesus still loves you ..and your friends, believer.  All of em.  Ain’t fickle – He never has been.  Loves your enemies as well.  Let Him lead you as Lord, and show love through you.  He’s really good at it.  What’s cool is that He is sovereign over every aspect of you life!

As you walk with and trust the Lord, the Light of heaven will shine in your heart and just light up your life. The JOY overflows. It happens, it's a tight relationship thang ...and then others start wanting what you have spiritually. So many basically are feeling... lonely, empty, guilty, non-significant and afraid of the future (you know, including dying all alone with no place good to go).  Heaven and Christ are there for you -- better than the most awesome spot of all!

"My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:2-4 #BringAfriendWith

"..He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. In that day they will say, “Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.” The hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain;" Isaiah 25:8-10a #ForgivenessIsFree #AskInFaith

Purgatory never existed. Nope. It was all religiously made up, ain't real or an option for you. And you know Hell wasn't ever made for people (it's there and for really rotten fallen... once beautiful angels), so not sure why so many people have stubbornly determined to end up there. God will honor their wishes and let them if they don't opt to..if they put of deciding to
turn and trust Jesus while they can. He's the Father's Plan A (His only provision for the sin-issue) and there is no B or C

New Day, new grace, new embrace.. from the Lord.

The Bible tells us that “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3: 22-23

It's a new morning right now. He's there for you. Just call out to Him.

How are you doing today, believer? How may I better pray for you? I pray today that you are growing a lot in the word of God and will be so blessed just walking with Jesus. He loves you so much -- words can't describe.

He was created as a guardian cherub. So, was this Lucifer the worship leader in heaven before he was basically thrown out to earth? Perhaps he was.

In Ezekiel 28:11 the Bible says that Lucifer was adorned with musical instruments and jewels. And Isaiah 14:11 says that Lucifer made noise with those instruments. There are no direct references in the Scriptures that tell us he played music or was the worship leader. To me it would appear that he involved in worship.

"Musical instruments were originally designed to be means of praising and worshiping God. It was not necessary for Lucifer to learn to play a musical instrument to praise God. If you please, he had a built-in pipe organ, or, he was an organ... Lucifer didn’t have to look for someone to play the organ so that he could sing the doxology--He was a doxology." ~ J. Dwight Pentecost of DTS

Please know that Jesus is not at all the opposite of Satan; Michael more likely would be.

“For in Him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.” Col. 2:9-10

The Mormons (cultists) would make Him a cherub and the spirit-brother of Lucifer. That's false, but to them.. Lucifer was the anointed cherub and they reduce Jesus. "And being a brother of Lucifer, when God wanted to redeem the world, God supposedly called for these two brothers to offer up their plans of redemption. And when they did offered their plans of redemption, the Father chose the plan that Jesus offered. And this made His brother, Lucifer, very angry. He came down and was determined to disrupt the plan of his brother, Jesus, through sibling rivalry. We will learn that Jesus is much higher than Lucifer. In fact, He is not an opposite to Lucifer at all. He's not the good angel and Lucifer the bad angel, or the good brother and Lucifer the bad brother. It's terrible to bring Lucifer to that elevation of an opposite of God or an opposite of Jesus. So many times we think of them, God and Satan, as opposites. Not at all. They are totally in different categories completely. God--self-existent, eternal, Creator; whereas Satan is a creation of God and does not come into the same category at all as God. Lucifer would be an opposite to Michael, the archangel, and they're going to be tussling. They've tussled in the past. They've tussled over the body of Moses. There was a big dispute between Michael and Lucifer over the body of Moses. Michael didn't bring a railing accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you" (Jude 9).
When the angel was sent to Daniel with a message from God, and Satan captured the angel and held him captive, Michael came and set him free. [Note: Daniel 10:12-14] "That great Prince came and he set me free. I've come now to bring you the message," the angel told Daniel. Michael and Satan have come into conflict before, and in the book of Revelation they're going to come into conflict again. Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon and his angels.
Jesus is not the opposite of Satan; Michael would be. Jesus, again, is the express image of the person of God. He is the off-shining of the glory of God. He is that which we see of God.
So he was made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, [that is, did God say,] Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? (Hbr 1:4-5)
Psalm 2:7 God declared of Him, "Thou art my Son, this day hath I begotten thee." God could never say that of Lucifer. God would never say that of Michael. It was said only of Jesus Christ. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee."
I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? (Hbr 1:5)
Mr Lu-Ciiiifer (that's I call him) was indeed made a beautiful angel, but he became so impressed with his own incredible beauty, intelligence, power, and position that he began to desire for himself the honor and glory that belonged to God alone. Yes, he got so puffed up inside that he started lusting after God’s possession at the very top.  And this pride represents the actual beginning of sin in the universe—preceding the fall of the human Adam by an indeterminate time." Chuck Smith
So interesting are the five selfish “I wills” we see in Isaiah 14 indicate an element of pride, which was also evidenced in Ezekiel 28:17 (1 Timothy 3:6 which makes reference to Satan’s puffed up conceit).
As a result of this hubris and subsequent heinous sin of rebellion against God, Lucifer was banished from living in heaven (Isaiah 14:12). He became corrupt, and his name changed from Lucifer (“morning star”) to Satan (“adversary”). His power became completely perverted (Isaiah 14:12,16,17). And his destiny, following the second coming of Christ, is to be bound in a pit during the 1000-year millennial kingdom over which Christ will rule (Revelation 20:3), and eventually will be thrown into the lake of fire (Matthew 25:41).

Want more on this? So how, why, and when did Satan fall from heaven?

Satan’s so called fall from heaven is symbolically described in Isaiah 14:12-14 and Ezekiel 28:12-18. While these two passages are referring specifically to the kings of Babylon and Tyre, they also reference the spiritual power behind those kings, namely, Satan. These passages describe why Satan fell, but they do not specifically say when the fall occurred. What we do know is this: the angels were created before the earth (Job 38:4-7). Satan fell before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden (Genesis 3:1-14). Satan’s fall, therefore, must have occurred somewhere after the time the angels were created and before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Whether Satan’s fall occurred hours, days, or years before he tempted Adam and Eve in the Garden, Scripture does not specifically say.

The book of Job tells us, at least at that time, Satan still had access to heaven and to the throne of God. “One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, ’Where have you come from?’ Satan answered the LORD, ‘From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it’” (Job 1:6-7). Apparently at that time, Satan was still moving freely between heaven and earth, speaking to God directly and answering for his activities. Whether God has discontinued this access is a matter of debate. Some say Satan's access to heaven was ended at the death of Christ. Others believe Satan's access to heaven will be ended at the end times war in heavenWhy did Satan fall from heaven? Satan so called fell because of pride.

He desired to be God, not to be a servant of God. Notice the many “I will...” statements in Isaiah 14:12-15Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes Satan as an exceedingly beautiful angel. Satan was likely the highest of all angels, the anointed cherub, the most beautiful of all of God's creations, but he was not content in his position. Instead, Satan desired to be God, to essentially “kick God off His throne” and take over the rule of the universe. Satan wanted to be God, and interestingly enough, that is essentially what Satan tempted Adam and Eve with in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-5). How did Satan fall from heaven? Actually, a fall is not an accurate description. It would be far more accurate to say God cast Satan out of heaven (Isaiah 14:15Ezekiel 28:16-17). Satan did not fall from heaven; rather, Satan was basically pushed out. He really deserved it.
It happened. Let’s walk with Jesus as our Lord... in humility and give Him the worship alone.

Walk on with Jesus. Get "rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving." Col. 2:7

mud GIF
Good idea for ya.  When you come near muddy heresy (so deceptive is it..) don't jump or fall in. Walk on past.

"As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.." Col. 2:6

If you pause too long at the muddy areas with muddy people..if you get distracted from the word, or stop walking near that jelly-sand-muck.. watch out. You could get stuck. Totally sucked in.

“A man who walks with God always gets to his destination.” ― Henrietta C. Mears

No time for bondage! I say.. as you walk with Jesus as your Lord, resting your head on His loving heart, you will firsthand learn His Word, His will, His wonders, His wisdom and His ways. You’ll be delighted to obey Him, not out of some legalistic compliance of accusation or condemnation, but out of heartfelt connection. Your JOY will abound as you walk with your best Friend! Listen, the hardness of God is kinder than the softness of even "soft men," and walking tight with Him means our liberation.

“Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?” Amos 3:3 nkjv

“I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.” Leviticus 26:12

“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!” Psalm 1:1

“If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth..” 1 John 1:6

“Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” Genesis 5:24 (walking with God for 300+ years here)

“..the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, ‘I am God Almighty; Walk before Me, and be blameless.’” Genesis 17:1b (Abe was 99 yrs here)

It's a good day to walk with Jesus, because the Rapture is much closer than before. A lot is happening that hasn't happened before and guess what.. Christ will soon return for His own whether people are ready or not.

The Apostle Paul encourages us, "Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in union with Him reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin, having been deeply rooted in Him and now being continually built up in Him and becoming increasingly more established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude." (v.6-7 Amp)

Okay, so There are Some Dangers with Rivers, Lakes and Seas to be Aware of. Yes, Oftentimes Along the Banks, or in Tributaries or Swirling Eddies You Come-across Em.

Walk on.. not alone or with those who keep pullin' ya down.  Go forward, win the good battles you face.  Get past the muddy danger zones.

My two brothers ..Kev and Kyle and I.. we used to get in some fairly serious mud-fights around river waters and lakes.

Been called water-kids with a water dog (a shepherd named, Blitzen), but sometimes it was really more about mud or a horse trough with us boys.

Yup, at times, like you probably also did... we’d have a tug of WAR ..over something like a mud-hole or bathtub for watering horses at.. and we'd find ourselves waste deep in the mud at some So Cal River..flingin' that stuff at other kids who also gladly join in, who enjoyed this pastime.

As was our custom, we'd together do at least 100 miles down the Colorado River every year at Easter time.. down to Mexico with a bunch of other Tom Saywer Camp kids.
My grandfather Bill started it, and then my dad owned and ran this camp biz (more on that here). Dad would enjoy driving the ski boat the whole time for the kids on four to six rail-road tie rafts that we'd built and traveled south on... so he didn’t always see the gnarly battles with the flinging of mud at the guys on the other side. When he was a kid, he was in em too, so of course he understood.
Been stuck in mud at the Devil's Gate Dam before. Needed a little help that time. But I remember one time while in the heat of it all (mud flyin').. while getting stuck and s l o w ly sucked-in ..up to my waste in the mud, and then up to my chest as a mud fight raged on.
Didn't really take it seriously. How can you, it's kid's a mud fight. And we all pretty much were laughing the whole time while still flingin' and whipping some soggy fast balls at those guys “the enemy”..chuckling out loud I was, that nature had somehow actually handicapped me to almost a standstill. It had tightly grabbed 'hold of me. Is this happening for real? Naww. No way! Oh yes -- WAY!
That rubbery clay like mud was a little different this time..more rubbery-like. I was stuck, but not like before. It was holding me at bay and gradually sucking me downwards the more I tried in my own power to get above it to free myself. It can happen -- slowly gettin' stuck in near-quick-sand. And that was one time I actually needed some help to out of there.. help with a long two by four and it took a little while too.. for my buds to tug and TUG me on out. Embarrassing. With mud all over the face, it was sorta like a rescue.

Here's what to do. Listen, in certain areas near an eddy or a muddy river bank where you can find so called "jelly-sand" (near-quick-sand) is, you can just walk fast over some of it.. not really sinkin' in much. But you have to keep on walking. If you are more on the edge of it, then keep goin' instead of ceasing to walk over it. Man, you would start to sink down in the crud, and then might even need some friends to throw you a line to pull you out.

Now in a context where the Colossian believers were starting to get stuck.. sucked on down by an amalgamation of spiritual weirdness ..a quicksand of Gnosticism, Judaizer-legalism, religious heresy, mysticism and asceticism, the Apostle Paul warned those people of the Lycus Valley saying, “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” Col. 2:6-7 nkjv

Be on the move forward, not sideways or backwards! Together with the body of Christ -- in a healthy Bible teaching church. Get your feet on the solid Rock (the Jesus Christ of the Bible), get yourself on stable ground in the Word of God. Come to Him. Have you gotten distracted away a bit.. taken a stride from the Master's side? Turn and trust -- come back to Him. Get back to your roots, believer, back to the basics of simply walkin' securely.. instead of gettin’ all sucked-into danger. Now is good. Return today, get home before dark.

Listen, Jesus walked and overcame. You too were born to walk in victory--you were created by Him to win in the battles of life!

At the beaches you shuffle your feet through the sands cuz the dangers under-neigh the water could be riptides, skates, stingrays or bigger sharks some 35 yards out. But at different Southern State rivers like the San Gabriel, the Colorado, and Santa Ana River etc the dangers could be ‘quick aka Jelly Sand.” We all love gettin’ in the water when it’s hot out, but be cautious and vigilant, prayerful.. especially with all the children playing around you there.

There was once this Texas man that was killed by gettin' stuck in Jelly-Sand on the San Antonio River not all that long ago.

Did you hear about, Mr. Jose Rey Escobedo? He went missing back on July 7, 2015 around 10 a.m. On July 8, police received a call reporting a light blue car had been parked underneath the San Antonio River Bridge in Goliad County. After succumbing to his battle, eleven game wardens found him on the 11th in South Texas

We've all heard the horrific refugee reports, but here's a refugee praise report for a change.

God said go tell, but so many of us believers just stayed home as sort of secret agent saints. It was more comfortable. And now things are really being shaken up globally, and the mission-fields of world (the people needing Christ's Gospel and hope) seem to be making their way to our doorsteps. It's interesting to me what God allows, and how He works.
I say it's time to obey the Great Commission -- yes, to live the life before those of this world and to explain the Good News.
Sure, in spite of all the chaos that's been goin' on around us, it's important to keep seeking Jesus with your whole heart. It's imperative to keep worshiping Him while we spread His Gospel to the last, the least, and the languishing -- to the Lost.
So many lives have needlessly been snuffed out this decade, so many saints have been murdered by those deceived in Islam.
But we Christians can still act wisely to protect citizens. We can pray and lovingly share our faith to God rescue people -- sure, any willing to hear His Message. You and I can determine inside.. not to start hating sinners (i.e., Migrants or rioting Antifa-thugs, or Globalist leaders or
Muslims all out for world domination and 72 virgins..that they’ll never see). If you see a crime, report it asap (Duh, churches and believers aren't the Police force..though some think they are).
It's been emotional, but during perilous times we can still be witnesses to sinners around us.. to young teenage rebels, to others
involved in sex trafficking taking advantage of children, or to those sneakin' in for whatever reason.. (i.e., to bomb, to rape, to mane, to destroy countless lives in order please Allah (one of the many non-existent gods of our age).
Sure we can--we have a living hope and really want many others to gain this hope as well. Colossians is all about this hope we've found in Christ (been teaching in chapters 1 and 2 lately).
Believer, you have a hope before you (Col. 1-12). Being together with Jesus in Heaven. -- Believer, you have a hope beneath you (13–23). A firm foundation on which you stand when all around you is shaking. The city of Colosse was located in an earthquake area.-- Believer, you have a hope within you (24–29). A living hope who has a Name (1 Pet. 1:3), and this hope that affects how we each think, talk and act. #HaveHisAttitudeAsUserve
The Apostle Paul had been teaching the Word of hope in Ephesus for a couple years and then local churches started up there as well as in nearby cities to the South. People were on the move, and Christians too. Kinda like has been happening in our day.
"Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my HOPE is in you all day long." Psalm 25:5
“Without Christ there is no hope.” - Charles Spurgeon
"Jesus gives us hope because He keeps us company, has a vision and knows the way we should go." - Max Lucado
“Where there is no hope in the future, there is no power in the present.” - John Maxwell
“Our world today so desperately hungers for hope, yet uncounted people have almost given up. There is despair and hopelessness on every hand. Let us be faithful in proclaiming the hope that is in Jesus.” - Billy Graham
“The Spirit of God first imparts love; He next inspires hope, and then gives liberty.." - D.L. Moody
“The only hope for this or any other society is to hear the Word of the Lord and obey.” - John MacArthur
We are so grateful for the Gospel, for Colossians and this new hope from God -- it makes us want thank God. And to share His Message with someone who hasn't yet heard.
“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.” Col. 1:3
“.. giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light." 1:12
"In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Okay, so I've got a “refugee praise report” for you. Let me tell you some of the story about Teddy the righteous migrant, he’s now a new-believer who has found real hope in Jesus Christ! He was once really poor, but now has his needs met in Christ. Teddy was in a small caravan of hungry locals escaping out of Liberia to Italy in the EU. It was a long trip -- over 5,000 miles, but he met Jesus along the way and made it there safe with his cell phone in hand. Christina, an American friend working with Global Media Outreach had via texting his cell phone.. been witnessing to Teddy.
Teddy left Liberia not sure if he'd see his mom again, if he’d survive or make the whole trek across the Sahara Desert of Northern Africa and then resettle in a refugee camp in Europe successfully.
He really felt this was his only chance at long-term survival so went for it, he’s made it so far (Read the whole story here).
And Teddy is just one of more than 120 million people that have been reached with the Gospel. This was in 2018 via Global Media Outreach’s effort, 1.5 million people reached with the Good News have now entered into an ongoing discipleship relationship with a GMO missionary.
FYI We really have some wonderful online missioraries, but the most wonderful Lord. And along with so many outreach ministries that our church (Prestonwood) backs, they also back the work of GMO. Thank you much for your loyalty to Jesus, in your church, in missions and for the prayers too!
