Are you cheerful of heart? Got joy and self-control? Do you rejoice in the Lord? Why not?

God made you and smiles -- can’t take his eyes off of you He loves you so much. Doesn’t have a hammer in His hand. Ain’t mad at you believer. It's cuz of the cross. Ain’t really out to nail you or any people. 

Titus 1:8 in the Bible clearly tells us to be hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. God's lookin' out for us. When we have the fruit of the Spirit, yes from the Holy Spirit who seeks to make us holy too, guess what.. people see this. People around the world need this fruit more than ever before ..you know like self-control in the believer.. and with this God has made it easy for us to be a good witnesses to others ...who still need to hear see it lived-out and hear the Gospel. 

The fruit of the Spirit is LOVE.. (and what follows these words in 1 Corinthians 13 describes God's kind of love).. 

"..but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect," ~ 1 Peter 3:15

Proverbs 25:28 talks about someone who doesn't have self-control -- they are reckless. Not a good thing for any of us, but we can do better in the Lord. They are like a city with no walls. What can help protect you? What do you think this means? 

Do you struggle with fear or anxiety? Take heart, be encouraged and comforted! Worship and praise the Lord daily. You were made for Him. God says He gives us a spirit of power, of love and of self-control, not some lame spirit of fear. Who needs that? 

How does this truth make you feel? I pray right now that God will work in your life powerfully so that you can better understand His good plan for you, and so all day long you will sense His peace and great love for you..in Jesus Name! 

Thus far.. has your joy, peace and self-control been sapped or drained away due to some personal addiction? The word of God can set you free right now. Yes, completely and forever! Jesus said He is the way the truth and the life. Listen and respond, you will know the truth and the truth shall set you free! What kind of Spirit will He give you? The Holy Spirit.. inside. 

Has for too long.. the joy of the Lord been robbed from you (hey, one moment apart from Him is too long). Has it been ripped off via personal choices.. while hearing and yielding to bad company, or to porn, or due to your own struggle with sexual temptation? Let's see this prob addressed and fixed today! God has given us ways to escape the snare, to avoid all that. You know purity starts in the mind, so careful with your eyes and ears. Sex is good, He thought of it, but you know all sex outside of a man-woman marriage is sin. Yup, says God in the Bible while looking out for your well-being and future.
