Let's firmly fix our eyes. No matter what is going on around us, our main focus is to remain the living word of God – Jesus Christ.

Purpose now to.. know Him well and make Him well known.

This is the victory that has overcome the world--it's our faith in Jesus Christ.

Q. So should a victorious Christian even follow what is going on in the news?

Well, the Bible talks a lot about believers warning people of what is coming to those outside of knowing Christ in a personal way, outside of the will of God the Father. It’s because God loves them so much ..all of us.. and He doesn’t want people suffering needlessly.

Be watching and wise. Be awake, alert, prayerful, discerning and on fire for Christ. Today.. be vigilant!
God says, “Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.“

So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happenand to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:36

The men of Issachar back in the day had real wisdom to know what to do–what the people of Israel should apply. You can also know what to do. Take time in the Bible, and in getting real with the Lord in praying for your buds. Keep your eyes open. Their eyes were open, they loved the truth, were aware.. and making others aware.

“..the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;” 1 Chronicles 12:32  See context.

Go read through all of Proverbs and see how many times God wants you to recognize danger and fools ahead of you that could impede, hamper and block your spiritual progress.

Sin is what stinks–it’s what’s made the swamp. Sin is the only thing God wants to take from our lives. Let’s together live for the word, preach the word in a non-preachy tactful way, and drain the swamp.
God, in his word tells us to watch and pray.. Not just watch but to believe when we pray. Not just believe and anything but in his son Jesus Christ who is the ultimate solution for all our needs. Twitter.com/kurtwvs

If you go, go all the way. Live for Christ every day--no dismay!

"It doesn't take great wealth or social influence to be faithful, but it does take obedience and endurance." ~ Billy William Graham
Social equity CAN BE a plus for righteously influencing, it isn't always depending on the choices.. but character, prayer and faithfulness are far more important in this life. Hold the course--go through. Go the distance with Christ.
"A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished." Proverbs 28:20
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes." Matthew 24:45-47
Q. Have you ever met anyone who spent time in daily candid prayer who had become strong in faith.. who was ever discouraged for a long period of time? I haven't.

I pray that God would have mercy on the people, and bless this country I live in. I've been deplorable here some but am not alone.

I @Kurtwvs ..like what the word of God says everyday…but this verse seems to be fitting for our nation’s situation today:

“For justice will prevail, and all the morally upright will be vindicated.” Psalm 94:15

Believers..“Of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered in deserts…” Heb. 11:38. See context. You know all of half of Conservative voters aren’t deplorable as they’ve been called.

To many, God’s people seem deplorable to those of this lost world, but that doesn’t mean we need to act deplorable as some kind of bad witnesses. Who are the so called “peculiar people” in 1 Peter 2:9? Jews? Gentiles? From the text they are those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Christian worshippers are indeed a nice fragrance to God and to those who are open to the Lord, but we are an aroma of death to those lost in the world. A deplorable aroma!!!

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light..” 1 Pet 2:9 (KJV).

“Those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this?” 2 Cor. 2:16  knowGod.org

More than one are saying that it's a full mutiny at the FBI unless Comey went public with this today. Perhaps Comey knows what Julian Assange is coming out with on Tuesday.

God is for life. Feeling totally amped on the Lord.. I am.. about what appears to be an answer to prayer that God would expose things pre-election just to protect God's people in this Land--the USA! A dramatic development and we are going to trust the Lord for the outcome with their future national leadership.

God seems to pass up a lot of opportunities to be early in intervening but he's never late. I am feeling the joy of the Lord ..honestly can't help it.. but I'm still hearing some lying.

Deliver the info upwards before outwards.

He who would help people well and talk to people about God would do really well to first talk to God about people.

Choose to be a non-distracted delivery boy or girl of struggles.. of issues.. of lack.. of fears.. of a country gone sideways.. of problems.. vertically to God who can meet all needs. No silly, not that you’re causing them. I mean #info #upwords #intercede for this people. #BelieveInTheBibleJesus!

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.“ ~ Paul

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Eph. 5:1

Believer, when you feel nothin', zip, null, nada don't even sweat it. Why do that? Walk on. Be in the Lord's presence and become like him more and more each day. Choose to be Christ-like, in-touch with Jesus.

Be in Christ before you think your way out that. Sure repent and BElieve in Jesus. Be still in Him, before you think out loud, and do. And make sure that when you be.. that you be wisely good by His power as an example.
Be strong and without any hubris in your heart. Choose to be virtuous in the Lord without snobby-stuffy-snootiness.
Be practical, straightforward--yeah, more pragmatic and wisely hands-on with you approach of biblical application, rather than habitually blah, blah, blah from a distance in some coaching.. with merely armchair kind of coaching. Be courageous without the presumptuous haste. Be noble without a sleeves-never-rolled-up do as I say not as I do superiority-complex.
Be tenderhearted, but not too goooy. Be one of encouragement and proper solace instead of one of inhospitably situated in some worldly or sour attitude.
Be chipper, rejoicing in hope. Be outgoing.. be excellent-hearted and minded minus all sub-standard weirdness. Yeah, instead of with some status-quo-middling kinda thoughts.
Be of sterling character instead of impolitely given to crude conversation or a baser mood and nature. Be a vessel of honor instead of coarsely vulgar, useless, mean-spirited, or mediocre in anything you do.
"The quality of mercy is not strained." ~ Shakespeare
You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Luke 6:36

In all the earth, I praise You. How radically majestic You are!

"O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!" Psalm 8:1

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1

"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." Psalm 57:5

"O Lord our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!" Psalm 8:9

It's cuz if You don't with grace flow through me, and I somehow fail to let you.. MAN, I could SO quickly mess up my witness here. People need Jesus so please empower.

Failed You before ..I have.. with such unplanned, independent, vain efforts. Don't want to again.

Stay with the Worth S H I P -- and give all the glory to God!

Dare I say that something wonderfully supernatural happens when we simply and biblically worship together... and in the right direction unto our Father God through Jesus the Son.

It's so imperative to worship biblically and from the heart. And this is a testimony even to unbelievers who sometimes it to watch and listen.

No time to be distracted now away from the Lord, or in avoiding this most important ministry. Get together with a healthy church.

So.. may I ask.. what does your praise say about you.. to God and others? "Just sayin', not guiltin' anyone here. *Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and...* See context. #Matthew 6:33-34.Bible

Check it out. If you don't go to a healthy Bible teaching church for like say a month, a new study shows that the odds are two to one that you won't go to church for a whole year. Lay not out in the cold. For your sake and for His glory, go back. God wants you praising together and fellowshipping too.

That road labeled ‘perhaps one day’ leads on toward a village of real smallness called 'prob'ly ain't gunna happen at all’. KnowGod.org

Yup, it's that way--tellin' ya so.

Thank you Taniamlopes. And may the Lord bless you for seeking the Lord too.

It's so important for all of us to grow in our relationship with Jesus. What is spiritual growth?

Spiritual growth is the process of becoming more and more like Jesus Christ. When we place our faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit begins the process of making us more like Him, conforming us to His image. Spiritual growth is perhaps best described in 2 Peter 1:3-8, which tells us that by God's power we have “everything we need” to live lives of godliness, which is the goal of spiritual growth. Notice that what we need comes “through our knowledge of Him,” which is the key to obtaining everything we need. Our knowledge of Him comes from the Word, given to us for our edification and growth.

There are two lists in Galatians 5:19-23. Verses 19-21 list the “acts of the flesh.” These are the things that identified our lives before we came to Christ for salvation. The acts of the flesh are the activities we are to confess, repent of, and, with God’s help, overcome. As we experience spiritual growth, fewer and fewer of the “acts of the flesh” will be evident in our lives. The second list is the “fruit of the Spirit” (verses 22-23). These are what should characterize our lives now that we have experienced salvation in Jesus Christ. Spiritual growth is identified by the fruit of the Spirit becoming increasingly evident in a believer’s life.

When the transformation of salvation takes place, spiritual growth begins. The Holy Spirit indwells us (John 14:16-17). We are new creatures in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). The old, sinful nature begins to give way to the new, Christlike nature (Romans 6-7). Spiritual growth is a lifelong process that depends on our study and application of God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and our walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-26). As we seek spiritual growth, we should pray to God and ask for wisdom concerning the areas He desires us to grow in. We can ask God to increase our faith and knowledge of Him. God desires for us to grow spiritually, and He has given us all we need to experience spiritual growth. With the Holy Spirit’s help, we can overcome sin and steadily become more like our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Do you long work your beads, a wailing prayer-wall.. do you "say your prayers" or do you actually get through with God the way you were always meant to break through? Shouldn't be a hard thing--gettin' your communication through and hearin' clear for direction.

Tears, crocodile tears even.. we shed em at times.. but they alone aren't the reason for answers comin' down to us.

And God doesn't necessarily move in your life when you just struggle though He can empathize and does deeply care about you. Sure He does. Listen, He answers and moves when you pray believing. : )

Hey, I didn't write the rules.

Jesus told us in the Bible that His real sheep hear His voice and follow Him. We are called to obey Him first and foremost.

Soon and very soon we are going to see the King. Hallelujah!

Most pregnant women tend not to know the exact day, but get ready just the same. As this world more quickly spins out of kilter with each passing day, it simply means that the coming of the Lord is very soon.

As the people of the world, of it's Media, of the U.N., of State Churches, of Social Networks, of Governments, and of the airwaves go after "the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience" (see context of Eph. 2:2), we will fix our eyes on Jesus.

As they keep doin' their thing while falsely assuring everyone "All is okay. Move along now, nothing to see here", we will with a sense of urgency opt to be about the Task (you remember Christ's Great Commandment and Great Commission Matt. 28:16-20..) our Lord has given us.

"Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While PEOPLE ARE SAYING, "PEACE AND SAFETY," destruction will come on them SUDDENLY, as LABOR PAINS on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape." 1 Thessalonians 5: 1-3 #emph.mine #Fish4Peeps

How to contend with stress that could so quickly go dangerously unhealthy.

Psalms 8:1 -- O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
Psalms 29:2 -- Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His Name; worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
Things can accelerate, these events, the reports of our every day existence, and the stress can increase to an unhealthy level. Keep your focus on Christ--the living word of God! Am currently singin' vertical with the David Crowder band.
Psalms 95:6 -- Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
Psalms 99:5 -- Exalt the Lord our God; worship at his footstool! Holy is He!
Believer, have you lately felt dry, or scared, or distracted unto anxiety? Is your fruitfulness being choked out by the cares of this world or desires for other things? Man, I've been playin' new worship music that's biblical ..through the whole house here via SGodonos ..yeah, seems like a whole lot more these days and enjoy singin' along to Jesus. Like to be somewhat aware of what's going on and how to properly respond, but why should any of us for even a day.. lose our JOY in Christ? Sure, daily I experience His JOY, peace, and kind love.. in spite of it all that is going on in our Land and world. Last days #Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Makes me want to share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ (the Bible Jesus). The Father has a really good plan for his kids--thanks God. So glad to be in Your family! God's work is to be done with genuine enthusiasm.. as unto Him in worship! Worship of Him is more important than service unto Him, but our works can also be a type of worship after we spend time with Jesus. If you are a full-time or part-time vocational minister and can't do it biblically and enthusiastically then get out. God, doesn't need it! Repent, get in Christ and go closer to Him. Facebook.com/shareJesus

Pure--it takes a choice and then subsequent choices that correspond. Duh!

http://kurtwvs.tumblr.com/post/151446195123/inner-authentic-purity-is-so-impacting-in-this

Every day..even today, you are either sowing to the flesh or we are sowing to the Spirit.

Have really bad things happened in your life and now you're mad at God? I've got a friend here in Dallas who feels that way and now cusses God out.
He lost $600,000 in the stock market and says he’s now an atheist. God didn’t make him invest that way.
Do you believe that the crucifixion of Christ on the cross was evil?
In the book of Acts the Bible says that evil men crucified him.
Do you believe that the crucifixion of Christ was good? The answer to both questions is yes. God is the only one that can take evil happenings and work them for good for his kids.
Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery in Egypt where God use him to save the world. He told his brothers you meant it evil for evil but God meant it for good.
Think about the horrible story of Ethel Waters and what happened to her. Go check it out. Even today God can take the evil things that have happened to you and turn them into blessings for you in him. Temporary sorrow can be turned into permanent lasting Joy.. ugly things turned into beauty because of the grace of God.
Jonathan Edwards says the happiness he Experiencing God was beyond the reach of his enemies who did him harm. It’s a complete joy that no man can take away from you. The greater the sorrow the greater the joy.. For born-again believers. Our light and momentary troubles can be turned. The more sorrow the more Glory will be revealed so hang in there and keep seeking the Lord.
Man Friday was dark, but Sunday is on the way.
Ask and you shall receive that your joy may be complete–no one can take your joy from you. In the world you will have tribulation but be of good cheer… take heart for Jesus has overcome the world! Help is on the way.

"Every single day we are either sowing to the flesh or we are sowing to the Spirit." ~ Erwin W. Lutzer

Heaven is for you and your friends. Feed your faith not your doubts. Help others too. Heard an old song today sayin' "We hear so much from so many that we don’t really know much at all. ‘Everyone talkin’ 'bout heaven ain’t a goin’ there."

You were born with gifts to use.. for God's glory, for others too. If you don’t feel comfortable with the idea that you have gobs of potential inside, soul-winnning and edifying sorta potential.. you just need to pray n start gettin’ comfortable with it. Cuz how else will reach it, Buttercup?

Live solid, stay sound. Be big in prayer and with your motives and behavior. God is big, the Spirit thinks big, and Jesus never was given to smallness of character. Still isn't. Calvary was BIG!

Stand firm in the Lord. ~ Paul in Philippians 4:1

Toward the tail end of his earthly Christian experience here, the apostle Paul declared, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Tim. 4:7).

You can fight.. right (via believing prayer and obedience to Christ), you can stand, and you can with joy in side ..finish strong in the Lord.
“To become truly great, one has to stand with people, not above them.” ~ Baron de Montesquieu
Stand strong in Christ. Wisely stand and fight to protect others, to build up, to help disciple, to win anyone who is willing to hear the Gospel.. no matter where they are from. Big bighearted in your witness even if you have unfinished goals, projects, trials to contend with. The size of the person dealing with the challenge or problem is more important than the size of the problem. Live big–be big hearted, be big in how you handle things ..rather than small.
BIG THINKING > small thinking!
How cool was it of Him (God) to non-permanently ditch the highest place of power and cushiness, to descend here to where the people actually lived… just to listen, to walk with, to example living before em!
Just to hear our hearts and words and not to point the finger accusation at em, or to talk down at them, but to be with, to really engage and to short-term and long-term help us! What was that even like for Jesus? Well, they killed Him on a tree, but he’s still the greatest–He rose on the third day. Couldn’t snuff Him out–still shining bright.
"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him." John 3:17  facebook.com/shareJesus
