Have you been a bridge or a barrier for strangers?

Not to frighten anyone really.. don't wanna do that, but it could get a bit more whack before it gets less whack here. But there's hope as well.

"There is applause in heaven every time someone believes in Jesus on earth!" ~ Luke 15:7

It's been so uber-crazy and tragic lately. Are ya kinda stressed and a mess? Or not so much? Who needs all these media lies, this terrorism cruelty, and the worldly jive? Not us--we need the Lord! Let's turn--let's get back to Him and to the Bible, USA!
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
“Now it will come about that In the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains, and will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it.” Isaiah 2:2-4

“And it will come about in the last days that the mountain fuof the house of the Lord will be established as the chief of the mountains It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, ‘Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the house of the God of Jacob, that He may teach us about His ways And that we may walk in His paths ‘ For from Zion will go forth the law, Even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And He will judge between many peoples And render decisions for mighty, distant nations.”Micah 4:1-3

Christians have trials that work for them as they turn to the one God who can easily address em. Those not yet Christians; they often feel hopeless inside cuz they have troubles that work against them.. not knowing where to turn. It's cuz they need us to point them to the One who can solve em all. The Jesus of the Bible who really loves them!

There are many big and little problems that people face--that we should quickly recognize. But many of em are out of our control today. Fortunately, we can manage our thoughts, acts, words, faith, attitudes and personal perspectives regardin' em.

“…whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think on these things.” #Philippians4/8.Bible

“Our vision is so limited we can hardly imagine a love that does not show itself in protection from suffering…. The love of God did not protect His own Son…. He will not necessarily protect us – not from anything it takes to make us like His Son. A lot of hammering and chiseling and purifying by fire will have to go into the process.” ~ Elisabeth Elliot

You have a story to tell. This world has people who want and need to hear it. You have a gift to use, get out in the world and use it.

Jesus said, "I will build My Church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it" (Matthew 16:18).

But how is Jesus building His Church today? He is building it through believers sharing and preaching God's Word. I just love the Bible and I love to worship Jesus and see him regenerate people inside. There's nothing in this world that beats knowing Him in a personal way!

Hey, be encouraged, believer.

Don't get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Gal 6:9)

Jesus came to save the lost—those hurting, not hurting, moral, and not so much moral, the up and outters, down and outters and the broken. All kinds of people from every Land, background, socioeconomic level and race. He loves us all the same.

"Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." ~ Jesus, Mark 1:17

Remember, there's nothing you can ask God for that is too big or too difficult for Him to pull off. But He wants you to ask and to pray for other people too! Pray for them before you go tell them.

Every time the Lord leads you to tactfully share your testimony with gentleness and respect. Yes, of how you turned and Christ changed your life.. guess what. You bring glory to Him!

Who can refute your own story? None can, but God can use you and your story. facebook.com/shareJesus

Personal evaluation can be a good thing. It's not judging in some stupid sorta way.

Give thanks where thanks belongs to go first, and lead others into this excellent life of gratitude.

What should dauly motivate us to walk close with, real tight with.. and non-stiff-religiously worship God? What statement of praise could you present to the Lord today?

The Bible says, "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name." Psalm 100:4

The gates into God's Kingdom.. on into His presence, they're still open inviting all sinners like me in. Sure, the second Coming hasn't happened yet. And we can come to know Christ better daily and lead others to also worship Him. See Matthew 24:14 in the Bible. Facebook.com/shareJesus

Jesus spent two thirds of his public ministry with Gentiles, and you remember the five commissioning statements he gave to Jewish follower near the end of his life. You remember the mission regarding his Great Commision!

I love song Psalm 100, it's an invitation for the Israelites to enter into the presence of God through the temple gates. They were commanded to enter, to "shout for joy" and to "come before the Lord with righteously joyful songs" of praise (vv. 1–2).

Shouting for joy was an appropriate expression when greeting a decent monarch back in the day, for him in that ancient day.

Well, we have a good King from that day near us today. All the earth was to sing joyfully about God and we still can. The reason for this joyful noise was that God had given them their identity (v. 3). Have you let Him give you..you identity yet?

They entered the gates with praise, joy, prayer, and thanksgiving because of God's goodness and His steadfast, loyal, and enduring LOVE which continues through TO YOU, TO ME, to all generations (vv. 4–5).

Even when the Jews forgot their identity back then and they gradually wandered away from Him after other gods, the living God remained faithful, upbeat.. and He still invited them back. He called them to return and enter His great presence.

Think about how many people during our times ..have left church, and have totally left God.. after worthless idols. Let's example biblical worship first, and call others who've for whatever reason taken a stride from their Masters side.. back to him.

Five hundred people move to my city of Dallas Texas every single day now and the majority don't speak English. God loves em all--internationals--hes bringing the mission fields of this world here to me / us! You can be a grateful worshipper, a pray-er, a truth-learner, a welcomer, a goer, a Spirit directed giver, a sender ..for God's missions efforts. Do you have holy CROSScultural habits of hastening.. for the day of Christ's return?

Give thanks to the Lord for all that he's done for you! Shouldn't our greatest passion be Jesus himself today, and then bringing others to worship him?

Enter on in--into His glorious Kingdom. The choice is up to you, and you can be totally sure today while living here. GodLife.com/gospel

The Lord of all lords, He hasn't fallen yet off His throne, believer. Nope, and won’t. Choose to trust Him.

Q: When.. before the last couple of years.. did you and I ever hear of people being beheaded. You know during our lifetime? It’s happened before, like in the dark ages.
But personally, I can’t really remember any. Is this gunna be like a daily thing now? Last of the last..days? Makes ya wonder. With two nutcases in England (one filmed) beheading citizens.. and with thousands beheaded and crucified in Iraq for being Christians in the last months—“Convert or die!” and they bravely choose to die (while some escape).
Lord, help me/us Christians to be faithful to You no matter what may come our way. (But sadly Terrorists will do this more in the near future. How do I know?)

It’s lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges. ~Cassius Clay

O Lord, my Lord, my strong deliverer, you have covered my head in the day of battle. Psalm 140:7
God, He ain’t fallen yet off that throne. Nope, and won’t.

Thought for the day: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.. it’s not your tough predicament, exigencies, boss, illness, tribulations, or strange circumstances.. are in control. He’s in control of your life, believer. You gave Him the steering-wheel right?

A plan for you. FOR YOU, NOT AGAINST YOU. HES SO FOR YOU.

"Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37:

Hugh Mungus--that's Him. That's His love. Yup. God loves you and has a really fly-sweet plan for your life. Deep down you know the best place to be.. is in the center of God's will for you. Pray your way in!

But even there at times, there could be some suffering, some opposition or attacks, and some trials. Even hard ones as are common to real Christians worldwide. But God still has a good plan for your life and following Jesus is so worth it!

He gives the right grace, and victory.. so appropriate and walk. Not more stumbling.

Give thanks and hang on to Christ.. real tight, not as children of the night cuz that ain't right.. but those of the day, no dismay. Be glad, rejoice in Him.. n in His plan. Chin ..up! Submit to Him in love for Him. Outta sin--resist the enemy.

No more sad or worldly or mad..like at Him or at peeps. Feed your faith and starve those doubts.. and your fleshly nature too. Purify your thought-life--saturate with the word.

So what is that plan? This... 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8

You can't sin and win and "turn", it's better than "churn" and "burn." You can't change your past, but Christ can change your present and your future. kurtwvs.tumblr.com

Life or death B4 ya Sport--choose life!

Be a person of impact as you follow the Person who made the most impact.

You were destined for impact.. yup, with purity and power for a purpose. It's for Christ the perfect Fisher cuz we love Him.. a mission for fishin'!
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
To the degree that we long for the next world where Jesus now is, we become able to combat the hypnotizing influences of this world ..and to help others through His Word. He fished for souls and we too can do this in Him.. His way.
The Christian life is meant to be lived in the presence of Christ and in the company of others, not alone. It's for a world-changing and edifying kinda purpose! Do you overflow with joy--do walk tight with Christ? Do you overflow with a impacting sort of... an anointed Christian witness for those lost people around you? Do you look to God to meet all or half of your needs as you reach out in His Name? How much to you pray for those people that Jesus died for? He can give us His compassion.
God loves you and he also loves refugees (we are seeing more and more of them here and I'm not condoning the policies that got them where they are in any Land). You know that God wants us all humbly and legally in the middle of His will. Bless-able. When you run into some where you live, tactfully, graciously, clearly, respectfully share Christ's love and Gospel Message with them. Tell em about his Cross and empty tomb. Offer to pray with them on the spot--right there if they express a need. Let God lead you.
Everyone needs a Savior. No matter how good (or bad) we've been, we all need Jesus to get us into Heaven. He is the only way--He said that. It's interesting to me how God gave His Church the Great Commission with a heart for those of every nation, but now the nations are arriving in our Land. Now.. we can wisely witness to them by deed and words. I'm sure many of them would not be dangerous to your family, and are open to hear the truth of eternal life.
"But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations." Psalm 33:11

Here's a good formula for ya.. for bein’ happy and leadin’ others on into truly happy.

GFTOATS - God first, then others, and after that.. self. = :  )

Kinda different yet easy to say, but it takes the Holy Spirit's anointing in and on your life to pull this off. There ya have it, that's my mnemonic device for leadin' on into a lasting happy. Yup, simple as that. It's about holiness, yes first turning from those things of death and unholy.. to what's of life and authentically holy as you relate to the Lord. It's about properly prioritizing biblically.
It takes ongoing discipline with grace, with truth, with God's wisdom and with others! It takes maintaining right priorities.. good habits upwards and outwards.. together with the Body of Christ (the real Church as God see it). Tahdah! Real success and joy are yours in the Lord!
Holy means happy! God wants all of his followers to be holy and subsequently really happy. What do you mean?
Holiness doesn’t mean abstaining from pleasure; holiness means recognizing Jesus as the source of life’s greatest pleasure. Spurgeon put it this way: “Holiness is the royal road to happiness. The death of sin is the life of joy.” For those of us who are Christ-centered believers, our lives should overflow with both holiness and happiness. In Revelation 20:6, makarios, a Greek word meaning “happy,” is joined with hagios, meaning “holy.”

The following versions capture this beautiful combination:

* Happy and holy [is] he who is having part in the first rising again. (Rev. 20:6 Young’s Literal Translation)
* Those who are raised from the dead during this first time are happy and holy. The second death has no power over them. (Rev. 20:6 New Life Version)
* Happy and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! (Rev. 20:6 PHILLIPS)
Sadly, too often our message to the world becomes a false gospel that lays upon people an impossible burden, as in “to be a Christian, you must give up wanting to be happy and instead choose to be holy.” In fact, happiness and holiness are inseparable. “Give up happiness; choose holiness instead” is not good news, and therefore it is not the “good news of happiness” spoken of in Scripture (Isaiah 52:7)!

Question: Does it matter whether we believe that God is happy?

It matters immensely says author, Randy Alcorn. "If God isn’t happy, he can’t be our source of happiness. An unhappy God would never value nor assure the everlasting happiness of his creatures. We would never ask for grace from an ungracious God, kindness from an unkind God, or happiness from an unhappy God. It would be like asking a poor man for a million dollars. He can’t give what he doesn’t have."
But remember, it's pretty hard to become happy if we are not helping others to also become happy in the Lord. And never forget.. happiness evades those who seek it directly, without seeking the Lord first and His will.

"The bottom line in leadership isn't how far we advance ourselves, but how far we advance others." ~ John Maxwell

"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others." ~ Paul, Philippians 2:3

Such a positive thing! The measure of leadership is really healthy influence in the best direction for the group.. nothing more, nothing less, nothing else! Be and stay a joyous learner! Have good timing and tact.
Through growth and learning how, when and where.. to apply God's word.. all human problems can be solved because He, Jesus (the Bible Christ), is the ultimate Solution. Remember that the Bible is true, God's promises are sure, and it addresses all the needs of people everywhere. Preach and carefully teach the word in a non-preachy or pushy sorta way.. for the glory of God and for the people's edifying benefit.
Be bold in your God--in the only true and living God. Trust and credibility go hand in hand. When you lack confidence in the Word, the followers will lack commitment. Be what they really need you to be with the right upward focus.
Live not on yesterday's victories. Be grateful and learn from em, but gain new ones by faith. Forgetting the junk that is behind you, and pressing on in Christ ..forward.. that's just better for all.
I challenge you to go there first ..spiritually.. when God leads.. when it's truly good and healthy. And then take others there for their blessing and growth. Believe in what God Himself can do through people! Hope draws its strength from the living Word of God directly, for what can be for each individual in the group, instead of from self or from what was. Don't fleece. Be bright, feed right, lead right.. not all uptight.
A person who cannot wisely sacrifice for others in a holy and appropriate way will never lead em in a healthy way.  And guess what.. the others will eventually know it.
Happy means earnestly seeking to know and follow Jesus Christ the real leader.. with all your heart. It's for pleasing Him, and then it's for the building up of others!
The Bible says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.." ~ Jesus, Matthew 6:32-33 Facebook.com/shareJesus

You can understand what's going on in this crazy world around you.

Why is it important for Christians to watch, pray and be aware of what's happening in the world around them.. along with knowin’ sound Biblical prophecy regarding these end times?

Here’s why: It’s made very clear through these Bible verses dealing with the rapture a.k.a. the snatching away of the bride of Christ (the Church as God sees it--regenerated people).

The importance of knowing what God’s word teaches regarding these end times is rad important for you. Yup, sure is.
That Day should not overtake us as a thief. Know the Lord early--today.

Hey Buckeroo, you really want to be apart of this soon coming event--the Rapture on outta here!

So when I post some world events or verses related to what’s going on.. check em out – clear indicators according to the real news and Gods solid word. We are to be watching, awake and ready..helping to get others ready too.
Jesus loves terrorists, but not what they do to others. He hates the hurting and killing people. He hates sin and so should we. But He loves you gobs, and refugees, and me too--sinners, and he can save and change any of us. Today is a good day to pray for all people and for your nation during these critical days.
