Do you often think in terms of a dot or a line?

Live honestly.. no-compromise-spiritually. Live all out for God and His approval instead of for people's acceptance. Why be let down?

I heard someone trying so hard to gain people's approval again after having tried this so many times before and failing at it.  It was so ugly only because it was far from factual and true. So what came to my mind all through this evening?

"Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue is but for a moment." Proverbs 12:19

"Eloquent lips are unsuited to a godless fool—how much worse lying lips to a ruler!" Proverbs 17:7

"Thou shall not lie.." remember that one?..it's in God's top ten.

"You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another." Leviticus 19:11

"The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." Proverbs 12:22

"The righteous hate what is false, but the wicked make themselves a stench and bring shame on themselves." Proverbs 12:22
"Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices." Colossians 3:9

Glorify the Lord daily. Live it.. tell the truth in love. facebook.com/shareJesus

Why not pray for the people on both or all sides, no matter your view or stance? We want what's best for em all.

Powerful prayer for a person or nation isn't merely found in using just the perfect or religious words, but it's in approachin' God as ya currently are, it's in gettin' real with your best Friend who knows all about it in the first place, and it's in a heart earnestly seekin' after the Lord ..on His terms instead of on your own.
Need 25 good reasons to pray for your nation?
“Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy, Lord my God. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence this day.” 1 Kings 8:28
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He choose for His inheritance.” Ps. 33:12
“He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge…” Is 33:6
It is “God who changes the times and seasons; He sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.” Dan. 2:21
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Eph. 6:12
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” Is. 60:1
“The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” Ps.145:18
“Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.” Rom. 12:12
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matt.18:19
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Tim. 2:1-2
“And Jesus said to him, ”‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.“ Mark 9:23
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4:6-7
“For kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.” Ps. 22:28
“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” Prov. 21:1
“Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.” 1 Pet. 2:17
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.” Jer. 17:7-8
“They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” Ps. 112:7
“Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him.” Psalms 4:3
“Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Zech. 4:6
“So now, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his supplications, and for your sake, O Lord, let Your face shine…” Dan. 9:17
“The Lord your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.” Zeph. 3:17
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Pet. 2:9

Rely upon the Lord today instead of on yourself or on anyone else.

"The people of Judah were victorious because they relied on the Lord, the God of their ancestors." 2 Chronicles 13:18
Who or what have you been looking to.. to meet your needs. Have you been relying upon your job or company the most? God will never turn away whoever turns to and relies upon Him in faith.
Abijah warned Israel that the Lord was on Judah’s side because the priests were biblically “observing the requirements of the Lord our God” (2 Chron. 13:10–11). Prayer and obeying go so well together--this together sure beats just praying alone. It's good to inquire of the Lord early as well.
By keeping these requirements, the kingdom of Judah was following the instructions set out by Moses in the book of Leviticus. Judah’s victory over Israel, who greatly outnumbered them, demonstrates that God is a God who is faithful to His word. He cares for His people in relationship with Him. kurtwvs.tumblr.com

You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!” That’s right—he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you—under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm. Psalm 91

That's the Message. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’
DWELL in Him
REST in Him
TAKE REFUGE in Him
TRUST in Him
Why? Cuz He is so worthy--100 percent trustworthy! When there's lots of terror out there just remember.. Christ is your hiding place.

People askin', What is happening? Nation hurting and in chaos, but there's a viable Solution.. for all of us.

And the Solution has a name.

"God's Message! God indicts the whole population: 'No one is faithful. No one loves. No one knows the first thing about God. All this cussing and lying and killing, theft and loose sex, sheer anarchy, one murder after another! And because of all this, the very land itself weeps and everything in it is grief-stricken..." Hosea 4:1b-3 Msg

God was talking to Israel here, but it sure sounds like to us here in Dallas.. and like to the USA today. Filled with grief and mourning today after Thursday at 8:45 pm.

I don't know how it is in your Land but all lives matter to God.

We've seen it in old black and white war films. You know, as a kid I always wondered what it would be like if attacking armies were in our own neighborhoods and cities.
Well, it's happening now and most of them aren't even from foreign lands. Predominantly homegrown. Our DOJ Loretta Lynch a few days ago told the ‪‎Black Lives Matter rioters, "Don't lose heart." They don't need to be encouraged in rebellion against authority or in hurting cops Duh!

Jesus is His powerful Name--the Solution.

Gone must be the days of pointing the finger of blame at those guys for not fixing what they can not fix.

Forgive us Lord in this Land. We humble ourselves. We ask for a biblical revival and an awakening that raises the dead--have mercy on Americans. Lord, we want an outpouring of Your presence here--the  One who comes like the refeshing rain to cleanse. Help us grow up in Christ. See 2 Chron. 7:14, Bible.

Thinking of some very offensive sins here. No fidelity upwards or outwards toward others. No love or faithfulness. No loyalty. Instead, violence, chaos, anarchy. Vertical relationship with Christ in this Land? Not so much any more. We kicked God out of  our schools in 1963.

"Now let no man contend, or rebuke another; for your people are like those who contend with the priest. Therefore you shall stumble in the day; The prophet also shall stumble with you in the night; and I will destroy your mother. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." 4:4-6a Kjv

How's that been workein' for ya, America? Such pride, selfishness--too much hubris and love of self. Such rebellion against His Word. We have a leadership vacuum--our leaders have daily been leading the people in an idiotic direction instead of a good direction. Why do we need to follow Jesus and choose leaders who won't give us good sounding politically correct words only. Here's why...

As the leader goes, so goes the people.
As the pastor goes, so goes the church folk.
As the CEO goes, so goes the company.
As the father goes, so goes the children.

Good idea! Let's turn back to our Chief leader, to the Lord and to His Bible. He's a good example going right in love. Always has and He always will.

Our police, they're so under-appreciated, underpaid. Let's show honor to them. Let's all build bridges where we can with people, a wall where needed to protect people ..and let's overcome evil with good. I feel grateful for those in blue.. in this Divided States of America. No!.. to the disorder, chaos, bitterness and anarchy. ‪#‎SeeRomans13‬

"…violence never brings permanent peace. It solves no social problem: it merely creates new and more complicated ones. Violence is impractical because it is a descending spiral ending in destruction for all. It is immoral because it seeks to humiliate the opponent rather than win his understanding: it seeks to annihilate rather than convert. Violence is immoral because it thrives on hatred rather than love. It destroys community and makes brotherhood impossible." ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Now our White House, our IRS, our DOJ, FBI, DNC, RNC are all corrupted. The police for the most part aren't. Have there been a very few bad cops? Sure, in every Land. Hello!

http://kurtwvs.tumblr.com/post/147197262753/its-not-right-stop-it-violence-never-brings

But Sheriff David A. Clarke, Jr. is right when he says, “I am calling on this nation to rise up and speak with one voice in condemning this vile, vitriolic, hateful movement called Black Lives Matter.”

A CNN HEADLINE RECENTLY ASKED:  Who Can Heal America?
Answer: Christ can.. only He can fix this! Not a mere religious or trite saying.

Yes, I know who can. The Bible Jesus. The Word says, "Come, and let us return to the Lord; for He has torn, but He will heal us." Nkjv

"Come on, let's go back to God. He hurt us, but he'll heal us. He hit us hard, but he'll put us right again. In a couple of days we'll feel better. By the third day he'll have made us brand-new, alive and on our feet, fit to face him. We're ready to study God, eager for God-knowledge. As sure as dawn breaks, so sure is his daily arrival. He comes as rain comes, as spring rain refreshing the ground." vv. 6:1-3 Msg knowGod.org  facebook.com/shareJesus

Fight the good fight of faith and be practical too in protecting people. Expect God to totally deliver those stuck in bondage.

Happy Fourth of July to you and yours! It's still time to fight.

“My brave fellows, you have done all I asked you to do, and more than could be reasonably expected, but your country is at stake, your wives, your houses, and all that you hold dear. You have worn yourselves out with fatigues and hardships, but we know not how to spare you. If you will consent to stay one month longer, you will render that service to the cause of liberty, and to your country, which you can probably never do under any other circumstances.” ~ George Washington with real leadership and strong character

There is such a leadership vacuum here, but the Lord can make you a praying godly leader doing exploits! What leaders today have good and godly character? Look around real hard. So.. after hearing these words above.. one-by-one, the fighters.. they began stepping forward to commit in answer to Washington's call of duty. And these were very war-weary veteran soldiers of the Continental Army but they didn't lay down or quit. They each opted to remain in the fight—it was a decisive turning point in that Revolutionary War that could have otherwise spelled out disaster.

For liberty's sake!.. which so beats-by-a-country-mile what your enemy and his crowd wants to do for ya. Yup, "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free." Galatians 5:1

According to Islamists, the Qur’an is not only credible; it is God’s only uncorrupted revelation. No worries.. it ain't.

Is the Qur’an Credible?

Let me say it again.. according to the adherents of Islam, the Qur’an is not only credible; it is God’s only uncorrupted revelation. Of course this is false and they need the Bible Christ. According to Muslim scholars, if the Koran is to be compared with anything in Christianity, it is to be compared with Christ rather than the Bible. In truth, while the Bible can be demonstrated to be divine rather than merely human in origin, the same cannot be said for the Qur’an. Unlike the Bible, the Qur’an is replete with faulty ethics and factual errors. Islamists are sincere, but are sincerely wrong and far off-base. Let's earnestly pray for and tactfully share the true Gospel with them, like we would for anyone not yet right with God. Ask for wisdom and guidance in this.
The Qur’an is replete with questionable ethics—particularly when it comes to the equality of women. For example, in Sura 4:3 Muhammad allegedly received a revelation from God allowing men to “marry women of your choice, two, three, or four.” Ironically, in Sura 33:50 Muhammad receives a divine sanction to marry “any believing woman who dedicates her soul to the Prophet if the Prophet wishes to wed her.” Thus, while other men were only permitted to marry up to four wives, Allah provided Muhammad with a divine exception for his marriage to at least twelve women—including Aishah, who was nine years of age when Muhammad consummated his marriage to her (Sahih Al-Bukhari, volume 5, #234). Also troubling is the fact that the Qur’an allows men to “beat” (lightly) their wives in order that they might “return to obedience” (Sura 4:34). When we compare the personal morality of Muhammad in the Qur’an with that of Jesus in the Bible, the difference is remarkable. The Qur’an exhorts Muhammad to ask “forgiveness for thy fault” (Sura 40:55). Conversely, Christ’s ethics with regard to every aspect of life—including His treatment of women—were so unimpeachable that He could rightly ask: “Can any of you prove me guilty of sin?” (John 8:46; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 John 3:5).
Finally, unlike the Bible, the Qur’an is riddled with factual errors. A classic case in point involves the Qur’an’s denial of Christ’s crucifixion. This denial chronicled in Sura 4:157 is explicit and emphatic: “They killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them…for of a surety they killed him not.”
In reality, however, the fatal suffering of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is one of the most well-established facts of ancient history.
In short, faulty ethics and factual errors demonstrate that the Koran aka the Qur’an is devoid of divine sanction. The distance between the Muslim Qur’an and the Christian Scriptures is the distance of infinity.
A real careful examination of Islam’s most trusted sources will show that the actions of the Islamic State are (as Nawaz claims) exactly what we would expect from a group that strives for complete obedience to Allah’s commands. While liberal Muslims like Nawaz (along with millions of Muslims who don’t insist on a strict reading of the Qur’an) will continue to live peacefully with their non-Muslim neighbors, the jihadist threat will sadly endure, because the threat emerges directly from the Qur’an. Consider a few of Allah’s commands concerning non-Muslims in the Qur’an:
O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness. (9:123)
Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah’s way, so they slay and are slain. (9:111)
Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. (9:29)
Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. (48:29, Hilali-Khan)

There are many suras dealing with this. Yes, here Muslims are commanded to fight, kill, or violently subjugate non-Muslims simply for being non-Muslims. And remember that it is totally okay for a Muslim person or a president or a leader to lie to an infidel. Guess what.. us non-Muslims, we are called Infidels.

PS.  And according to Islamic practice, sacrifice during Ramadan is considered more valuable than that made at other times, so a call to martyrdom during this month may hold a special allure to many. Since Ramadan began, jihadists have carried out targeted deadly attacks in Orlando, Afghanistan, Kenya, Lebanon, Istanbul, and now Bangladesh. Ramadan means: A Time to Kill for Allah.

We loathe that which we used to love and visa versa. We can't even any longer stomach the thoughts, motives, deeds and skanky-puffed up attitudes of darkness.

It's cuz of the Holy Spirit who lives on the inside, not cuz any Christian's merrit, self-righteousness or personal goodness. The obedient Christian witness for the Father sure ain't perfect, but he or she just refuses to greave the Spirit and adhere to their sin... to any sin.

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 facebook.com/shareJesus

We can at any time really.. learn from this big mess around us, and there actually is some stuff we can do.

What should we learn from all of this going on around us? We can learn that God is totally faithful. He himself went through storms too. What.. to do?
Live with confidence.
Stay focused on the Lord.
Be well spiritually, in a healthy church growing strong and healthy in the word of God.
Be steady holding your good course. You are headed for heaven. In the end we win cuz we are related to the ultimate winner--Jesus Christ. The Bible Jesus, not one of the many fake, weird, stiff-religious made up Jesus' like the JWs have or you see in Mormonism.
Bring your friends with you.. stay calm.
Huh? What's calm got to do with it? Q. How can you be a peacemaker if you lack peace or that tight intimate bond with the top Peace Maker?
And what does that word "Calm" even mean?
It means missing negative agitation during a wild or destructive storm. Yes, the weather folk gave us this term. It means: Wind moving at a speed of one mile per hour or less, but you really don't need to be slow or sluggish.
“Do not let your heart be troubled--afraid, cowardly. Believe confidently in God and trust in Him, have faith, hold on to it, rely on it, keep going and believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and I will take you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also." ~ Jesus, via John 14:1-3 (..said during a storm so to speak, before his death)
Lovingly, Jesus asked them, asks you.. asks us to wholeheartedly believe in God the Father.. and to also believe in Him (God the Son). facebook.com/shareJesus
