Wanna change the world? There is power when we pray in Jesus' Name!

The greatest place to start when you want to change the world is at the intersection so to speak of biblical repentance and faith in Christ--simply coming to Jesus yourself, and then pleading in praying for others to do the same. You can do this today!

Why waste time majoring on reforming sinners, when they simply need to first be made new inside? After sinners get right with God, they have a new desire to become more like Jesus.

Hi friends, How have you been? I had the privilege today to pray with a poor man who had suffered some reversals lately. There's been so much going on huh. I can't even remember a slow news week or slow news day can you?

But I feel amped about the Texas.HarvestAmerica.com 2016 event that is only five weeks away. Don't know if you plan to go to Cowboy Stadium, or watch it from a far. Please do, and be encouraged to pray early for people, for family, friends, and neighbors you'll be inviting to hear. Here is a great cloud tool for you add your own friends for prayer. Yes, here are some really valuable people that need our prayers!

Pray that God will bless @GregLaurie and the team for a harvest of souls, that people will be brought, will hear and clearly understand the Gospel, and that each one making a decision will go the distance with Christ. Yes, that God will use this whole event to win many people to righteousness, so they each can find their way to a healthy Bible teaching church.

The praises and worship will go up to Him, and the Holy Spirit will do His thing to point us all to Jesus! I feel so excited about what is going to happen there in that huge Stadium.

Let's keep praying together for lives to be regenerated, completely changed from the inside out.. through hearing and responding to the Gospel at this event!
"Prayer doesn't change the purpose of God, but prayer can change the action of God. The most important thing a born again Christian can do is to pray." ~ Chuck Smith

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14

"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful." Colossians 4:2

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." Mark 11:24

I love how God can come through for His kids with exact, really fitting.. yes, with His perfect wisdom and timing. I ask in Jesus' Name that God will give you all that you need today to be strengthened on all levels by His Spirit. I also pray that the Lord will refresh you this weekend, that He will give you strong, on-fire Christian friends and minister to you as you help others to grow. Jesus, O for grace to trust You more, and more all the way home. Please be glorified in and through you body the church this weekend. I pray that God will continually guide you in all areas...at work, at play, at school, at wherever He leads you.. and that he'll give you all the provision to get the specific tasks done, as well as encourage you in His Word and in His will for you today. Amen!

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." Jeremiah 29:12

"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth." Psalm 145:18 Facebook.com/shareJesus

Up or ya go down. Growing, maturing on all levels, or are ya starting to wither on the vine spiritually. No in between. Forward, or you're sliddin' back, we each must choose. Why not gather to Jesus instead of live indifferent, be lazy n negligent, or scare n creep people out?

I want to challenge you here. If you stop growing.. if you halt in your advancing, if you cease progressin' forward guess what.. you will soon be a train wreck waiting to happen.  Hey, backwards to Egypt or crashing off track so to speak, it ain't supposed to be an option for us believers.

"As God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience." Colossians 3:12

May I be so blunt and ask you.. Are you in Christ, growing and gathering people unto Him... or bein' rude, un-tactful, insensitive, too rough instead of gentle or abrasive in an inappropriate way that's just not called for?

"Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters." ~ Jesus in Matthew 12:30

Prayin' > Worryin'

http://kurtwvs.tumblr.com/post/138217804893

Have you given up on prayer completely? It's kind of like way too early for that.
Do you tell others that you are spiritual– so many people pride themselves in that? May I be blunt? If you don’t pray properly, then you’re just spiritually sick.. or still perhaps completely dead in your human spirit. Let’s address and see that fixed.
Perhaps the reason that you haven’t been getting an answer to your prayers is that you have unconfessed sin in your life? Do you attach the wrong address on the prayers you attempt to pray, or are you praying to the God of the Bible through his Son, Jesus Christ? All other praying would be a waste of time cuz there is no other living God.
And nothing will bring your prayer life to a halt faster then unconfessed sin. Jesus dealt with him on the cross so why should we walk in it any longer?
Your prayer might not yet be answered because you have an idol with a small “I” in your heart. Do you say, No Kurt, I’m just venerating (..which pssst by the way means worshipping), I’m only kissing and showing reverence with flowers and candles on that statue? Hello Bucketoo! Stop that. Perhaps the idol is your bank account, your car, your boyfriend or girlfriend, perhaps it’s your career? What is it that has wedged out of your schedule the good Bible reading? Church going and fellowship with other growing believers? Prayer time? Or simply knowing and sharing your faith in Jesus?
Perhaps the reason you’re not getting an answer yo your prayers is because God wants you to continue praying and let your faith grow through perseverance. Ask and keep on asking, knock and keep on knocking, seek and keep on seeking–pray without ceasing in Jesus! Don’t give up praying and believing.
You need to get your will aligned with God’s will. The objective of prayer is not to get God to do what you want him to do, but to get you closer and doing what God wants you to do. It isn’t about building your kingdom or mine, it’s about us walking in the spirit building his Kingdom.
There are lots of Bible verses dealing with unconfessed sin, with lack of persistence, and with the lack of simple friendship with Jesus. They would really build up your faith. Have you been meditating upon and memorizing some of those edifying words?
Trust God and his timing which is perfect. Our Heavenly Father answers the prayers of his children with a yes, a no, or a wait.. He knows best! But are you his child? Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.. have you done that? knowGod.org

Fear ain’t an issue here--just convert em all into honest prayers.

Fear ain’t really an issue here–in fact it’s kinda hard to imagine livin’ with that.  But the remarkable thing 'bout fearin’ God (which basically means walkin' in and havin’ a respectful awe of..) is that ya have joy. You fear zip, null, nada, nothin’ else nowhere..yup!.. whereas if you don’t opt to know and fear the Lord, you'll fear so many other things ..wherever you go. @kurtwvs

HIS VOICE > OUR ECHO

You know how too many people simply echo what others say without vetting or verifying ..just hoping that what was said is right.  That doesn't take primary study or spiritual discernment.  You can do better.  Instead of being like a mere echo repeating the talking points of what's been said in this world, I challenge you to pray, to slow down, and to allow the Lord to prove all things, to speak through you with creativity, with precise accuracy, with His agape concern for people.. with originality.  Sure, God delights to use people for Christ's glory--He still speaks through His kids.  Let it always be in accordance with His Word (the Bible) and kind Spirit.  Pray the Word, Live the Word, and boldly "Preach the Word" in a non-preachy or stiff legalisticly religious kinda way!  Read more...

Do you have a battle strategy that includes prayer?

"Wake up, sing up, preach up, pray up, pay up, stay up, and never give up, or let up, or back up, or shut up until the cause of Christ in this church and the world is built up!"

Christianity was never meant to be passive, indifferent, or milk-toast.

Please recognized that a temptation to accept the wrong, to remain quiet when others are being hurt or killed, the temptation to do nothing about what’s truly destructive in relation others ..is a serious sin with fall-out that reaches your address so to speak.

You and me, we were made in the image of God with great value and real love is ready to protect and does so. This temptation is simply a call to spiritual battle.. don’t mean physically against people. That’s why we need to pray and have a biblical battle strategy.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”  2 Corinthians 10:4
“...so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 3:10
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Fighting a spiritual battle might seem daunting at times for us as Christians, but God indeed wants to encourage us in every way possible through His Word. He gives us the weapons for our warfare, and the grace  that we need to win. Ask for His wisdom. If we don’t stand up and fight in the  right way for what’s right and good, then sooner or later it won’t be just us alone that are hurt or destroyed by that inferior decision.

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.” Colossians 1:16
“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him.” Colossians 2:15
“This charge I entrust to you, Timothy, my child, in accordance with the prophecies previously made about you, that by them you may wage the good warfare…” I Timothy 1:18

You can do this. You can win with Christ livin’ big on the inside cuz He is a Victor among those He’s given victory to.

Actually, Your Life isn't Unnecessary, believer. Ever heard About the "Conference of the Carenter's Tools"?

"One day, the carpenter's tools had a conference. Brother Hammer was in the chair. Upon bringing the meeting to order, he said he understood that there were complaints among his fellow tools and he thought it would be good to discuss it openly together.

"Yes, Brother Saw, what is your complaint?"

Brother Saw stood up and said, "It's that little Brother Pencil. He gets on everyone's nerves, he is so small. He can't be found when he's needed and when he's doing service, he is so blunt at times that he makes very bad impressions. He certainly needs to be sharpened up a bit around here if he expects to be of any use!"

Little Brother Pencil slowly rose to his feet and said "All right, perhaps I am a little blunt at times. It's only when I spend too long a time in service that I'm like that, but at least I'm not like Brother Drill and his family of small bits. They are always going around in circles, and really, Brother Drill seems just a bit boring."

Brother Drill and his family of small bits stood up and replied, "Yes, I know we have a reputation for going in circles, but at least we are not like Brother Plane. You really have to push him to get him to do anything at all. And then, all of his work is on the surface. There certainly is no depth to his work like there is to ours."

All eyes turned to Brother Plane to see what he would say. Quickly Brother Plane spoke up. "Brothers, I guess I'm not the only one around here that has to be pushed to do anything or that has no depth to his service. Brother Sandpaper is worse than I am." Brother Sandpaper was somewhat new in their midst. "Besides, look how rough he is. I just can't stand being next to him. He just rubs me the wrong way. How he could accomplish any good in his service being so rough, I'll never know."

That remark made Brother Sandpaper really angry. "Brother Plane is just jealous, that's all! And while everyone is complaining, I'd like to complain about Brother Rule. He makes me grit my teeth; always measuring others by his standards as though he's the only one who is right around here.

How about Brother Level? He is so exacting! And there's Brother Compass and Brother Tape Measure and that Brother Punch doesn't finish what he starts most of the time."

Well the tools were really getting hot. Their tempers were flaring. All seemed to have legitimate complaints against one another, but just then, when some were even getting ready to walk out of the carpenters hall, some thinking that they were not useful or needed, who should walk in but the Master Carpenter from Nazareth (who actually lives without any needs but still delights to use His tools). Yes, He had come to perform His work for the day.

His Father had asked Him to build a house that they could both dwell in and He was now almost finished with it. He put His work clothes on and started to finish the work His Father had given Him to do. He used every tool.

Now someone else appeared on the scene. It was the carpenter's Father. How thrilled and pleased He was to see what His Son had accomplished. "How did you do it, my Son?" asked the Father.

"I put to good use all of the tools that I bought and how I love every one of them. I paid a high price for them, Father, but they are well worth it.

See the hammer over there? He is so useful for both the work of tearing down and building up. He is very effective in service because he really hits the nail on the head. He's a very solid worker, I must say.

Then there is the saw. He's really pretty sharp and puts his teeth into the work, constantly going back and forth in one area at a time for very effective service

I am certainly happy to have my pencil. Although he's not very big and I have to sharpen him from time to time, just like some of the other tools, he is very useful in the correcting and marking work.

"Father, here is another tool I just couldn't be without. Big drill and these small bits of his family. They are all so good at reaching deep into the heart and are always leaving the way open for additional work.

And just look at this plane. He is so handy to have around in service. He's such a smooth worker and doesn't bite off more than he can handle at one time. He is certainly good at overcoming obstacles as well.

And do you see Brother Level over there? He has a good eye for balance and is very level headed.

And although little Brother Punch is very small, with the assistance of Brother Hammer, he does an excellent job of driving his point home.

Although Brother Tape Measure is small in size, he is always extending himself to meet various circumstances and, like Brother Rule, is accurate in his statements.

Even my new tools, like Brother Sandpaper, I wouldn't want to do without him. Although there is a certain roughness, he will wind up with smooth results."

"So you see Father, I’m thankful because I have this variety of tools. With their service, I will finish your house. Let me show you around the rest of the building."

Well, upon their leaving, all of the carpenter’s tools started rejoicing because each received compliments from the Master and saw how pleased His Father was with what they all had accomplished together.

Brother Hammer now again rose in the midst and said, "Brothers, I perceive that all of us are needed. For although we all may have our weak points at times, and we do not do things exactly the way others think we should, whether we are old or new, large or small, we are all important tools in the hands of the Master Carpenter." ~ Author Unknown

Remember, God knows exactly how we each at different times.. feel.  He knows about every fear, and every tear which comes to our eyes.  Christ is concerned about us.  Your heartaches are known to Him who cares--you do matter.  And He can strengthen, equip, heal and use you for His glory!

The apostle Paul affirmed that God wants to use you saying, "But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are.." 1 Corinthians 1:27-28

The Lord wants you to daily walk in and experience the fullness of His Spirit's anointing so that you, together with His people, "may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Yes, may you come to know his love—although it can never be fully known—and so be completely filled with the very nature of God." Ephesians 3:18-19. Good News ..for you!

He says to you, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." See Jeremiah 29:11Philippians 1:24

Victims don't have to remain that way. It'll work out alright as God get's involved. As He heals, comforts, and renews em. He works it out and make it all right again.. via His strong anointing.

God makes everything come out right; He puts victims back on their feet. Psalm 103:6
So don’t forget a single one of God’s blessings!
Tell Him thanks for .what He does. Every day we have blessings we see and can't see, yes, if we simply wake up. And God makes all things work together for good to those who love Him and area called according to His purpose.
He forgives your sins—every one of em.
Who can even go a week without sinning even one time, yet God is merciful over and over again.
He heals your diseases—every one. None are a match for the Lord. The Name of Jesus is greater than the name of your disease.
There’ll be no sick people in heaven, no no, and some of em.. He heals while here. Ask, believe and then trust Him no matter the results.
He redeems you from a real place called hell—Jesus saves your life from destruction!
You can have a new destiny that's SO glorious--your final address is beyond description in your current language, yes, after you are born again.
He crowns you with love, grace, anointing and fantastic mercy—a paradise like crown.
It's all so easy to receive. Love, grace, peace,  J O Y,  mercy, and the Gospel Message to freely receive and then to give away–to pass along.
He wraps you in goodness—a supernatural kinda beauty that's eternal. Even if here.. your outer tent just wears out with time due to Adam's sin.
In Him we live and move and have our being, believer--He hasn't ditched or forsaken you even if you feel He has. Still faithful.. right there next to you.
He renews your youth like the eagle—you’re always young in his presence, so wait on Him in prayer. Listen UP.
Whats' more effectual than prayer in Christ.. for your loved ones, for your friends and enemies, for those stubborn circumstances of life that people can't change though they try their hardest. Yes, as we wait upon the Lord and seek His wonderful face.. it happens. We are revived in the best possible way, and others can be awakened cuz of our witness. Spiritual renewal is caused by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God working together in you.

Why is it that we find joy in Bible-reading and simple the application of it? Cuz God says we will. It's so nice to gain victory over sin, Satan (yeah, with all his weird fallen-angel buds), and over our old selfish old nature inside (God calls it our fleshly nature).

Sure, we might not always feel like taking heed to the Word of God, but His Spirit encourages us. His truth does too--it sets us free and keeps on setting us more free. To really be ourselves. And this freedom is great to experience, and then we want to go tell someone so that they can enjoy the same kinda blessings!

"You can glorify God with the gifts and skills you are given!" ~ @GregLaurie

God can refresh you on multiple levels. I pray that He would, and if you don't yet know Him in a personal way, I intercede for you that He will help you experience His greatest miracle.. even now“Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Isaiah 40:31 Read more

"Our greatest fear shouldn’t be that we won’t succeed, but rather, that we’ll succeed at something that doesn’t matter!" — D.L. Moody

..March 6. #HarvestAmerica #Dallas #DFW

A video posted by Kurt von Schleicher (@kurtwvs) on

We are in a day of great opportunity.. in spite of all the aggressive-caliphate-building and the Radical and Apocalyptic Islam stuff happening.

Believers, we still have today to pray for and witness to all kinds of irreligious and religious people. God radically loves em.

Someone did that for us sinners and I am so grateful.

To date.. Americans have killed 58 million babies.. IT'S STILL SO WRONG.. and many Christians here still stand up against that uber-evilness.

And yet.. in love we can still show love to those who call themselves pro-choice and are for it happening. I think about how
Corrie Ten Boom and her family studied the Christian Bible, prayed for and showed love to those cruel Nazis who held them captive and killed most of them. It challenges me not to hate evil people.

Why not stand with us for the Lord and what He calls right? Isn't it time to get off the fence so to speak..
and choose this day who you will serve

We can continue to stand up against the evils of Radical and Apocalyptic Islam as well.. without hating the peace-loving Muslims living among us.

Why not befriend and witness to them..those peace-loving ones among us? Why not pray for, invite, bring em with.. and gather together for the Gospel's sake! Yes, in Jesus' Name.

Leaning on in–pressin' in. Something wonderful-mysterious happens when we simply adore the Lord–the Way, the Truth and the Life.

There is great power, restoration, healing, and freedom in the Name of Jesus. He fixes what needs to be fixed and breaks stuff that needs to be all the way broke.

An hour is coming when those who kill you  (not Christians who are to literally show real love to their enemies) will think they are doing God service said Jesus. That hour has come!

There are 1.6 Billion Muslims on earth now. Seven to ten percent of em subscribe to a violent destructive Jihadist purpose, but that committed ten percent is 160 million people against you. That's like half of the U.S.A. It's crazy.

They are trying to win and gather people to their misled cause. We can pray.. and tactfully share Jesus.. share His Message with Muslims here and in other places. Did you know that more of em have come to faith in Christ in the last 40 years than in all of prior history.

Come to Christ today. Heads up dear Jewish friends. They erroneously call you the little Satan and us the Great Satan. Jesus loves you and said, "..the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing a holy service for God." John 16:2 nlt
Doesn't your own, doesn't my own sins need to be addressed quickly? Yes, let's judge ourselves first before God needs to.

"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15

This nation where I live ..the U.S.A.. also needs to choose and return to the Lord. With repentance and biblical faith. Each one of us wholeheartedly! No more spiritual compromise!

National corruption also needs to be addressed thoroughly and quickly before it spreads, before the Lord steps on in to judge.

Did you know that nothin’ has happened to the mother of that male Jihadist in San Bernardino. She lived there, knew and watched.

Did the other family members know n watch? If there’s any proof that they knew something needs to happen quickly.

The government needs to quickly meet vicious brutality against the innocent here ..with greater and just brutality (National Defense) to snuff out the evil. “Love.. always protects.”

It’s a squeamish thing for me to talk about during this election season, but it needs to happen with great wisdom--God's. Remember that Benghazi video-maker? He got thrown in jail within one week. facebook.com/shareJesus

“Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” ― Søren Kierkegaard

Looking to the Future instead of backwards – Let’s Press On in Faith!  What else are we gunna do?
The Bible reminds us to “strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up” (Hebrews 12:1).
C.S. Lewis said, “The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of 60 minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.”
The apostle Paul wrote, “But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:13–14).
The present with His presence is indeed His present to me. Grace! Yes, I want to live in the now, in this moment.. rather than in the past or in the future, but I can plan for the future after I pray for the future. That's how I would do well. Paul was sorta painting a picture of an athlete running his particular race. Sure, and we can imagine one.. a runner in the last lap of that race pushin’ for the finishline. They are totally exerting them-self in the final kick. Breathing hard, trying to keep the sweat out of the eyes so they can stay in their lane. Every muscle is straining. The runner can see the ribbon ahead. And pain is there too.. wracking their muscles–their entire body! And they only have a little bit further to run. No more pacing them-self at this point just all out goin’ for it. The runner knows it’s better to have a few moments of pain than a whole lifetime of regret. So they press on. That is what we need to do, run our race smart.. to win.

Currently, who is your best friend and if you don't mind me asking.. what do y'all do when together?

No competition or comparison is needed among us. There's too many still lost and not really that much time.

"But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."
