Sixty years and still together. Wonderful! We love you! Congrats and thank you much, parents.

God bless you both.

Image result for anniversary bible verse

Mom fell off her mountain bike some weeks ago, but dad was right there to pick her up again. It was bad and really painful, but she is now healing up so we are thankful.

I pray that you both have a wonderful day together, and many more really blessed years ahead.

"Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; for if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Amp.

Do you feel thousands of miles away from God and the will of God for your life? He's only a prayer in Jesus' Name.. away.

You are today right where God wants you.. unless you are in a place to sin.

No Kurt, I'm here cuz I made a mistake. I blew it.

Well, I've done that before. Can relate. But Moses could have said that too.. on the back side of the desert. And think about it. He met his wife back there.. "where we wasn't supposed to be due to his mistake/sin." God has a time for each of us to be taught to turn, to trust, to be a servant, to get into a new game so to speak. Romans 8:28-29 is still in the Bible and He has a timing for everything.

So blessed, so at rest, so unstressed -- that's how I feel today. Has life been hard for you? So sorry. It's always been hard, but God is still good and He does have a plan.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. Psalm 106:1

Thanks Lord. I feel so grateful for Calvary, God.. for Your unending love that was demonstrated there. How great to be born again, sealed or locked into Your love by the Holy Spirit who is living inside us.

Christ’s death and physical resurrection are the measure of God’s love for you and me.

Enjoying now, but looking forward. It’s almost 2017!

Quit time now? Nope. Let us do what we might not feel like doing -- not quiting. Let's not become weary in doing good in glorifying the Lord.

Have you ever noticed the guys always does everything on time he's never late. Thanks for the second coming he'll not be late either.

But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons. Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, 'Abba, Father'. so you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir." ~ Paul, Gal 4:4-6.

God is still in control. He still has an excellent purpose -- a really good plan and u in mind. And He still keeps his promises. Yes, has a whole lot of them for u too.

Feel afraid or depressed? Or do you have peace inside. 79 percent of Americans believe that a terrorist attack is imminent on U.S. turf.

When depressed, worried, stressed or fearful, here's some stuff to help with that.

Pray through to the Father in Jesus Name. Connect vertically with the One that you need to connect with most. Expect not any one day like Christmas to make you happy. His presence gives joy, not mere temporal presents.

Go do something for someone else who has it worse off than you currently have it. This actually releases endorphins and more than that (you've heard of the runner's high, well this is called "the giver's high" for real. Got no money, no prob. Give a good witness away today). Help the reader come to you now as they are Jesus and receive eternal life. Free!

Selfless Christmas Love Righteously Crossed The Border Of Heaven To Earth In The Person Of Jesus.. To Reach You.

When I look at the Christmas hymns and carols.. unless they've been found tweaked by someone cynical inside a Mad magazine or something (ie, "Grandmother got ran over by a reindeer".. they all seem to contain these four themes.. peace, pure love, hope and great joy!

That's what Christmas with Christ is all about! The Bible says, "..through the heartfelt mercies of our God, God's Sunrise will break in upon us, shining on those in the darkness, those sitting in the shadow of death, then showing us the way, one foot at a time, down the path of peace." ~ Zechariah in Luke 1:78-79 msg

That there.. is 'bout pure love, happy hope, great joy and supernatural peace! You can enjoy this. And I pray for God's love in me to grow daily, more and more. It's so that you will hear, by faith grasp, and enjoy the benefits of Christmas and Christ's Cross.. first-hand.

Can I say it again? God loves you! He really loves paid politicians, non-politicians, Liberals, Conservatives, Libratrians, Globalists, non-Globalists or other. He also loves Muslim terrorists, law-abiding Muslims, Jews or other.. peace-loving infidel civilians, gay or straight people. God came here to save sinners like you and me. Kind!

Merriest Christmas! Is there any good reason why you wouldn't.. today, here and now, where you currently are.. give your life over to Christ.

You, a meaningful gift to Him for His Birthday!

Then.. go tell a friend to do the same so they too can be blessed. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. 1 Peter 3:15

The greatest of all Christmas gifts is Jesus bringing peace and forgiveness to lost people.

Do you struggle at times to find the right words to talk about the Gospel to a friend or someone at work ..who hasn't yet accepted it?

If so, the apostle Peter offers a refreshingly flexible approach to sharing our faith with people in need. He urges us to give others a reason to ask about our hope in Christ (3:15).

If we honor Jesus Christ as Lord in our hearts first, the difference it makes in our lives will prompt questions with them (v. 15).

Peter envisions the kind of change.. the spiritual transformation that others will envy—in the best sense of the word.

Those living under the influence of Christ will treat one another with compassion and humility (v. 8). They won't return evil for evil, or insult for insult, but rather blessings for curses (v. 9).

This difference in our lives as Christians will help others open themselves up to receiving the best gift they could ever receive. You know, it's like one beggar who found fresh and free bread.. showing another beggar where to find it. www.knowGod.org

Q. What's more important today than all holidays, everything and everyone?

What's better than the stuff you do down here, believer? Hint.

Altogether lovelier than most lovely, You are altogether Worthy, altogether more wonderful than wonderful to me. Feelin' grateful--thanks for bein' there, God!

Q.  What's more important today than all news, than all evangelism and discipleship Ministry? Facebook.com/shareJesus  .. Yeah what's more imperative than fellowshipping with your brothers and sisters, more important than  Church attendance and working in your Father's Vineyard?

It's this. Taking the time to minister to the Lord Himself. You were made for the praise of His glory.

You are a peculiar people believers. You are a planned, carefully fashioned, valued, and designed person for the sincere praises, biblical hymns, spiritual songs, psalms, and pedal to the metal worship I love you Lord.

You are here for passionate, intimate and personal blessing to your Lord directly. That will always be your number one priority ministry even ahead of ministry towards your spouse and family.

Here's a song to sing.

You are God--my liberating King! You set us free, You broke the chains.. totally manumitted me--You came, were born in a manger, died on a tree, arose.. to set the captives free--people that now see. Your Grace won't fail me or these.

Heaven Waits For Me--for We in Thee! For All. Blessed Trinity! www.F4Skurt.blogspot,vom

So what's Christmas really supposed to be all about?

"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." ~ Jesus John 8:12

That's exactly what the first Christmas was all about. Light from God entering in this dark world. It's about God sending His own Son Jesus to rescue us from our sin, our bad habits of wrong-doin', from and eternity apart from His love and His heaven. It's about His light -- I love it when this fallen place of hopelessness and those living here on earth.. get all “lit-up” by His Holy Spirit -- just illuminated with hope inside again! It can happen.

Remember the first Christmas and how, “the glory of the Lord shone around” em out tending their woolly flocks (Luke 2:9).

It happened around common shepherds ..not powerful folk or celebs.. who were out doing their simple work. They saw it that holy light, and what came next? This did, a cool rendition of “Glory to God in the Highest” by God's angelic choir (v. 14).

The shepherds had to go check it all out in Bethlehem to see if what the angels said had some veracity (v. 15). It did. The Bible says, “When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child” (v. 17). That's what we get to do after we encounter the living Christ! We get to know him well and go make Him well known. But who among us has not yet clearly heard the Christmas Message and I mean, understood it? Who has not at all had the Gospel spread as far as to them? If it has gotten to you.. if you were born of God's Spirit, then this Christmas has more meaning. So why not pray and share Christ's Message of hope with others. He is still “the light of the world”—that has come (John 8:12). So would you perhaps pray something like this...
Lord, thanks for the manger, the Cross and the empty tomb. It's so great to know You all year around. It's better than epic! But many people around us are lacking funds, hope, joy, opportunities etc. Many of them deeply miss their loved ones during this time of year, and some feel really depressed inside not quite sure of what they are missing--what they were designed for. In Jesus's Name please help me during this Christmas season to shine brightly, so that they can benefit from your Good News. With joy running over, with Your kind of sensitivity and honesty, just keep and use us believers to tactfully reflect the light of Your presence and goodness to hurting people that we come across. Amen.

feelin' grateFUL!

To walk it can be costly. Talk can be cheap -- man, I've blah, blahed before.

People often talk about their loyal love, but it's not really that often that we see someone live it out like Jesus did all they way to the Cross and beyond.  He was grateful.  He wisely applied God the Father's statutes and obeyed.  Thanks Lord.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." John 15:13

"I rejoice in following Your statutes as one rejoices in great riches." Psalm 119:14

Gratitude in the Spirit is a good choice, a good attitude, and an on going good lifestyle.  It's more than some cheesy cliché – turnin' Thanksgiving into thanks-living.

Thank You Lord for going to the Cross for all of us.  Thanks for the empty tomb too. Thanks for new life with all these quiet in-between days.. in between the holidays time.. with friends. I love You.

"I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your Word." v.16

Friday, November 25, 2016

It's still for sharing -- the Good News given in a good sorta way ..so it'll clearly be heard.

Every time the Lord leads you to tactfully share your testimony with gentleness and respect. Yes, to share of how you turned to and trusted Christ .. of how He changed your life.. guess what. You bring glory to Him!

Who can refute your own story? None can.

Remember, God's people are never to be shamed into, or worked and pressured into, or bribed into, or tongue-lashed into, or somehow by another guilted so called Christian into.. serving the Lord. For this type-of-thing called service is simply the natural outgrowth of J-O-Y stemming from a healthy love relationship with Jesus Christ.

Christians simply need to be gently challenged and exhorted because their friends lost or saved are hungry for the Word. So I encourage you to pray about this.. to go feed instead of fleece the flock of God, and to share the Gospel simply. facebook.com/ShareJesus

"...Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

Pray bold ..and be bold in the Lord.

"On the day I called, you answered me; my strength of soul you increased." Psalms 138:3

Happy Thanksgiving to You!

Who doesn't love this holiday?

Thanksgiving is almost here again. Should be an all year long kinda thang. Have you had some good things and bad things, and some apparent-good things and apparent-bad things happen in your life?

Bad Things Do Go Down On This Sin Cursed Planet But We Can Still Find Things To Give Thanks For. So What Did Matthew Henry Say When a Man Stole His Wallet?

He could have been shot! In thinkin' back on the real bad thing that happened to him, Henry said, "1.) I am thankful that he never robbed me before. 2), I am thankful that although he took my wallet, he did not take my life. 3) Although he took all I had, it was not much. And 4), I am glad that it was I who was robbed, not I who did the robbing."

Matthew Henry did better than making lemonade out of a lemon. Choose to find something to give thanks for; yes to be grateful for even after a bad experiences regardless of how you feel or who you miss.

We've all sinned. I know I really deserve worse than what I've gotten. Im' seeking to mature and grow spiritually. And this is how mature people react in tough times. They learn to give thanks in all, not for all circumstances.

So opt to be grateful even for small blessings. Realize that passivity in this area, that ingratitude toward God is really the first step toward lukewarm relationship, toward spiritually cold, tiward backsliding away from God.

We see this in Romans 1. The Apostle Paul described the path people take in departing from God. The first step is an attitude of ingratitude.

Listen up Buckeroo. This is important. The Apostle Paul penned that, "Although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him."

I've been there before. I can relate not even knowing I sinned via ommission. Ingratitude leads to many inferior choices when good choices could have been made.

Even for believers, when we take God's' blessings for granted and neglect to give him thanks and praise and pure worship biblically, guess what... we slowly come to have little time for God alone, little time for corporate worship, and little time to help or serve others. That's how we witness with him.

We can so easily become self-centered instead if Christ-centered. Before we know it, we have slowly wandered far away from God, and we wonder what happened to that glowing red hot love relationship we once enjoyed with God. Let's thank him today, and worship and keep giving thanks to Jesus. Gratitude toward God leads to a higher experience in the Spirit. KnowGod.org

Man, it's a good day for lookin' up, for preparing, and for the Rapture. Lots of Lands are in off the charts chaos.

"The Name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10
It's a good day to get to this Person.
I heard a gay person downtown say this week.. "the world is ending. It’s all coming to a close. Everyone can see this." Man, I thought that was interesting and noteworthy. I told him to get ready in Christ.

Let's renew our national vision and hope. America's hope is Christ himself.

Grateful -- thanks for the reprieve and for interveening. All that You have done and can do in a Land, please do it in this Land, Lord. Turn this people back to You again. It's not too late for America and the people we love. We're on first base--together we just got a hit, but we have a long ways to go in order to round third base and head for Home. We can be optimistic, but no president can solve all our challenges--our eyes are on You, Lord. Human leaders come and they go, but we're standing on Your word that's eternal.

"Return, we beseech You, O God of hosts;
Look down from heaven and see,
And visit this vine and the vineyard which Your right hand has planted... then we will not turn back from You; REVIVE US, and we will call upon Your name.
RESTORE US, O Lord God of hosts;
Cause Your face to shine,
And we shall be saved! Psalm 80:14+18-19 emoh.mine #SeeContext

"The greatest need of America is an old fashioned, heaven-born, God sent revival. Throughout the history of the church, when clouds have hung lowest, when sin has seemed blackest and faith has been weakest, there have always been a faithful few who have not sold out to the devil nor bowed the knee to Baal, who have feared the Lord and thought upon His Name and have not forsaken the assembling of themselves together. These have besought the Lord to revive His work in the midst of the years, and in the midst of the fears and tears, and in wrath to remember mercy. God has always answered such supplication, filling each heart with His love, rekindling each soul with fire from above." ~ Vance Havner

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Sweetnessssss! That's what it's kinda like.

Victories taste good, but together let's go on to more victories. Let's just keep walkin' in love, in wisdom and in victory with Christ. Who says we need to quit?

Just had our U.S. election and emotions are runnin' wild.

It's been kinda crazy out there lately.

Just had our U.S. election and emotions are running off the charts and off the chain. Was interesting. FDR won because of time on the radio, JFK won because of bein' sharp on television, and DJT just won because of social media. He on Twitter mainly etc... along with his friends, they went past the lying TV News Media right to the people where they are. He and they went directly to em.. with many good ideas instead of merely hiding away from the people while lacking them. It's fact. Just the way it is. We as a people and as individuals, now need to move on with God and grow.

So, are you feeling ticked, frustrated, anxious, self-worked up, self or/rioter-agitated after the election? You'd do better to chill out cuz it's all under control. Here's why: God loves you and has a plan. See Psalm 103:19.

My question for you, believer. Really.. it's a good one...

Dear Heavenly Father, You are the God of second chances so together we look to You this day. You delight to forgive, to help, to give miracles in times of need ..and this is one of those times. So we ask for one again.. on Tuesday. We expect You to intervene as only You can. Thanks for your great mercy and love. Please turn us..turn this nation back to You -- let Your will be done Your way with our leadership in Jesus Name. Yes, we desire Your Way. Amen.

Let's firmly fix our eyes. No matter what is going on around us, our main focus is to remain the living word of God – Jesus Christ.

Purpose now to.. know Him well and make Him well known.

This is the victory that has overcome the world--it's our faith in Jesus Christ.

Q. So should a victorious Christian even follow what is going on in the news?

Well, the Bible talks a lot about believers warning people of what is coming to those outside of knowing Christ in a personal way, outside of the will of God the Father. It’s because God loves them so much ..all of us.. and He doesn’t want people suffering needlessly.

Be watching and wise. Be awake, alert, prayerful, discerning and on fire for Christ. Today.. be vigilant!
God says, “Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.“

So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happenand to stand before the Son of Man.”  Luke 21:36

The men of Issachar back in the day had real wisdom to know what to do–what the people of Israel should apply. You can also know what to do. Take time in the Bible, and in getting real with the Lord in praying for your buds. Keep your eyes open. Their eyes were open, they loved the truth, were aware.. and making others aware.

“..the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command;” 1 Chronicles 12:32  See context.

Go read through all of Proverbs and see how many times God wants you to recognize danger and fools ahead of you that could impede, hamper and block your spiritual progress.

Sin is what stinks–it’s what’s made the swamp. Sin is the only thing God wants to take from our lives. Let’s together live for the word, preach the word in a non-preachy tactful way, and drain the swamp.
God, in his word tells us to watch and pray.. Not just watch but to believe when we pray. Not just believe and anything but in his son Jesus Christ who is the ultimate solution for all our needs. Twitter.com/kurtwvs

If you go, go all the way. Live for Christ every day--no dismay!

"It doesn't take great wealth or social influence to be faithful, but it does take obedience and endurance." ~ Billy William Graham
Social equity CAN BE a plus for righteously influencing, it isn't always depending on the choices.. but character, prayer and faithfulness are far more important in this life. Hold the course--go through. Go the distance with Christ.
"A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished." Proverbs 28:20
“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household, to give them their food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes." Matthew 24:45-47
Q. Have you ever met anyone who spent time in daily candid prayer who had become strong in faith.. who was ever discouraged for a long period of time? I haven't.

Friday, October 28, 2016

I pray that God would have mercy on the people, and bless this country I live in. I've been deplorable here some but am not alone.

I @Kurtwvs ..like what the word of God says everyday…but this verse seems to be fitting for our nation’s situation today:

“For justice will prevail, and all the morally upright will be vindicated.” Psalm 94:15

Believers..“Of whom the world was not worthy: they wandered in deserts…” Heb. 11:38. See context. You know all of half of Conservative voters aren’t deplorable as they’ve been called.

To many, God’s people seem deplorable to those of this lost world, but that doesn’t mean we need to act deplorable as some kind of bad witnesses. Who are the so called “peculiar people” in 1 Peter 2:9? Jews? Gentiles? From the text they are those who believe in Jesus Christ.

Christian worshippers are indeed a nice fragrance to God and to those who are open to the Lord, but we are an aroma of death to those lost in the world. A deplorable aroma!!!

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light..” 1 Pet 2:9 (KJV).

“Those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this?” 2 Cor. 2:16  knowGod.org

More than one are saying that it's a full mutiny at the FBI unless Comey went public with this today. Perhaps Comey knows what Julian Assange is coming out with on Tuesday.

God is for life. Feeling totally amped on the Lord.. I am.. about what appears to be an answer to prayer that God would expose things pre-election just to protect God's people in this Land--the USA! A dramatic development and we are going to trust the Lord for the outcome with their future national leadership.

God seems to pass up a lot of opportunities to be early in intervening but he's never late. I am feeling the joy of the Lord ..honestly can't help it.. but I'm still hearing some lying.

Deliver the info upwards before outwards.

He who would help people well and talk to people about God would do really well to first talk to God about people.

Choose to be a non-distracted delivery boy or girl of struggles.. of issues.. of lack.. of fears.. of a country gone sideways.. of problems.. vertically to God who can meet all needs. No silly, not that you’re causing them. I mean #info #upwords #intercede for this people. #BelieveInTheBibleJesus!

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.“ ~ Paul

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. Eph. 5:1

Believer, when you feel nothin', zip, null, nada don't even sweat it. Why do that? Walk on. Be in the Lord's presence and become like him more and more each day. Choose to be Christ-like, in-touch with Jesus.

Be in Christ before you think your way out that. Sure repent and BElieve in Jesus. Be still in Him, before you think out loud, and do. And make sure that when you be.. that you be wisely good by His power as an example.
Be strong and without any hubris in your heart. Choose to be virtuous in the Lord without snobby-stuffy-snootiness.
Be practical, straightforward--yeah, more pragmatic and wisely hands-on with you approach of biblical application, rather than habitually blah, blah, blah from a distance in some coaching.. with merely armchair kind of coaching. Be courageous without the presumptuous haste. Be noble without a sleeves-never-rolled-up do as I say not as I do superiority-complex.
Be tenderhearted, but not too goooy. Be one of encouragement and proper solace instead of one of inhospitably situated in some worldly or sour attitude.
Be chipper, rejoicing in hope. Be outgoing.. be excellent-hearted and minded minus all sub-standard weirdness. Yeah, instead of with some status-quo-middling kinda thoughts.
Be of sterling character instead of impolitely given to crude conversation or a baser mood and nature. Be a vessel of honor instead of coarsely vulgar, useless, mean-spirited, or mediocre in anything you do.
"The quality of mercy is not strained." ~ Shakespeare
You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Luke 6:36

In all the earth, I praise You. How radically majestic You are!

"O Lord, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!" Psalm 8:1

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1

"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth." Psalm 57:5

"O Lord our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!" Psalm 8:9

It's cuz if You don't with grace flow through me, and I somehow fail to let you.. MAN, I could SO quickly mess up my witness here. People need Jesus so please empower.

Failed You before ..I have.. with such unplanned, independent, vain efforts. Don't want to again.

Stay with the Worth S H I P -- and give all the glory to God!

Dare I say that something wonderfully supernatural happens when we simply and biblically worship together... and in the right direction unto our Father God through Jesus the Son.

It's so imperative to worship biblically and from the heart. And this is a testimony even to unbelievers who sometimes it to watch and listen.

No time to be distracted now away from the Lord, or in avoiding this most important ministry. Get together with a healthy church.

So.. may I ask.. what does your praise say about you.. to God and others? "Just sayin', not guiltin' anyone here. *Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and...* See context. #Matthew 6:33-34.Bible

Check it out. If you don't go to a healthy Bible teaching church for like say a month, a new study shows that the odds are two to one that you won't go to church for a whole year. Lay not out in the cold. For your sake and for His glory, go back. God wants you praising together and fellowshipping too.
