Some see religion as a journey and others see it as a destination, but I despise how religion often gets in the way of people. Religion has nothing, zip, null, zero to do with knowing the living God or fishing for souls as Jesus Christ talked about it.. as He did it. Religious people do compass land and sea to proselytize wanting to make a convert to their moldy way of life that lacks the Lord's zoe and abundant life. But then they make them twofold a child of hell with mental, emotional and spiritual bondage like they too have.
Religious people can sound kinda sweet talkin' morality and PMA (positive mental attitude stuff). They say.. "Do good, be good, act moral" but mere religion never gives you the power to be transformed inside or to do what it tells you to be. Dead religion impedes people so they don't trust in Christ n fail to be regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Religious people do all these little rituals enjoying the aesthetics, the harmless colors of the windows, the expensive vestments, and the smell of incense and they think that by those rituals the Spirit will get them God's saving grace. But we are saved by any works.

Those killing others as part of radical Islam and Isis are religious. Satan himself is relgious and mean too - a murderer! But today religious leaders will often be very popular, very influential, very rich. Nothing really wrong with all that in and of itself, but they often use it for the wrong purposes. Some money is will go to their charities for pretense n feel good's sake. Religious leaders are often applauded by the devil's crowd. They were in Christ's day as well but had murder in their hearts. Whitewashed tombs, brood of deadly vipers. Jesus rebuke these hell-bound arrogant men trying to help them get it.

We believers are to declare the simple Gospel message and God opens their eyes to grant repentance and saving faith - they turn away from this world system from their sin and from Satan to Christ He saves them on a moment.
I think the practice of religion and trusting in it keeps more people out of heaven than all other sins combined. I hate dead religion because it blinds people to their need for God, but a third of the angels that are now fallen just love it when people get hooked on it. So many are in a religious bondage and they will split hell wide open.

I love religious, prideful, mistaught, perverted, and gay people and they aren't always one and the same, but I want to get through to them.. not with my words or opinions but with God's from the Bible. I love God most and I love carnal, worldly, nominal worldly and even spiritual Christian people. Wanna hangout tight with the later. He who walks with wise people will become wise.
But listen.. dead religion and religious people make other people weird, mean-spirited, judgmental, power-hungry and money hungry too.. all puffed up with pride instead of humility. Ain't good for ya. It gives their devotees a false assurance, but never a real assurance inside of their salvation. They all tell me I hope I'll go to heaven when I die. They don't know for sure as a born again believer will know. The Apostle John said, "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life" (1 John 5:13).

I don't want religion. I'm not interested in it. Religious people are interested in all their denominational history and dead leaders, there's a weird fascination with death. They often traffic with demons, interrupt and sometimes confuse those that I'm trying to witness to with Christ's simple Message. Sadly there have been religious leaders and dead religious people in every church movement n denomination.. and they always hinder what God desires to do in helping people through His Word.. yes, help em on every level especially in the areas of redemption and sanctification.
Many religions don't adhere to Christian Essentials. Hello, our unity is to be around Christ and these alone! Listen, the anti-Christ person will one day soon have his approved religious leader to unify religions people. I know it's uncomfortable to talk about this. There been too much talk of the enemy these days! Personally, I wanna talk with, talk of, look for and glorify Christ instead. Why uber-focus on the anti-Christ or his demon buds?
I opt to look for the Rapture instead of for him. Is that how it is with you? Hey, it's normal to not want to be left behind to eye-witness-observe the emergence of that Unholy Trinity: the great Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet. Why should you wanna be there? This world has already seen types of the comming anti-christ, yes, evil forerunners of him. But this trio of wickedness will be bent on lying, deceiving and destroying all those in the world. Yet check it out, the Message of Revelation 13 and the rest of Scripture is: Start and maintain a close relationship with Jesus Christ (Revelation 13:1-18).

People led by dead religious leaders in so many religions are too busy doing their own thing to even notice that God in this earth is doing His. Check history, look around you, pray for an awakening and read the Bible. God really loves you!

It doesn’t make any difference the religion where you've run from or hid from God in. And it doesn't matter how far you try to run from God outside of a religion. Either way He loves you. His eye is on you. He sees you. No fig leaves will properly cover your sin like the blood of Jesus can (those leaves represented religion or man's attempt to deal with sin, but there needs to be the shedding of blood. See Genesis 3:21 pointing ahead in tme to the Cross). God loves you, and the Bible says that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, from heaven to this earth for you. Christ came to this earth to pay for your sins on a cross. God has a plan for your life.

Jesus came here, walked here, taught here, died on a Cross here, rose up again here, and went away from here, but He'll soon return here. The Holy Spirit doesn't walk beside you as He did with believers of the Old Testament times, now He lives inside of you, believer. Now, believers, guess what.. the affects, the effects and the impact and reach of your ministry can go further. One Bible Message given out over the radio or on the web can reach around the world and be used of God to save Jews and Gentiles, to save and help reach the religious and irreligious peoples. More people can hear it. Yes, the results of your ministry can be greater now.

You can have this whole world. Just give me Jesus instead! In His humanity He (who is 100% God as well as 100% man..) was filled with the Holy Spirit. He prayed and operated perfectly here on earth daily ..through the power of the Holy Spirit. He never sinned like you and me. And the disciples saw Christ multiply fish, turn water into wine, heal, raise the dead etc. but the miracle of regeneration connected to His biblical Gospel Message is the greatest miracle that Jesus did and still does. So, what's the link? Prayer is the link between the Father's good will, you, the Holy Spirit in us believers, and with His holy Son also interceding for people (religious and non-relgious). We can join with Christ in His work. We can understand God's will and His word by praying in His Spirit. Sure, let Jesus speak to you via God's Bible and the Holy Spirit.
