How in world is it...

It challenges me inside. If you tend to be one who digs the Law please also dig balancing it with more than mere words about God’s Love.
Are you more into courtesy than control, or perhaps visa versa? Know that help is there for ya cuz Christ, our prime Example was and still is “full of grace and truth” ..not just full of one.
"You can love a man to Christ, but you cannot bully him into salvation. I never heard of a soul that was scolded to the Savior." ~ C.H. Spurgeon
Have you heard of one? And you can even keep on lovin’ a believer closer to Christ and towards a healthy Bible-teachin’ church, cuz all of them indeed are equally loved. Love must be sincere.
"Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good." ~ Paul
Why is it that some so called Christians who emphasize love most often, walk in it the least? Prayin’, Lord, never wanna be like that. Help us be real and walk like You walked.
Have you been passing through some deep waters or a storm of some kind? Have you been too busy for Christ, too distracted, cold-blooded and legalistic? Be still. Ears open. Repent cuz ..you’re probably still blind to all the people you’ve literally hurt by your lame example. If your husband or wife try to train you to push people around to earn favor from God, don't submit to them. Just prayerfullly appeal with respect and submit to the Word of God instead.
How long do you think it will take for them to feel like going to church, or serving in a ministry, or to even pray again after watching how you manipulate and pressure people “in the name of Jesus”? Board the clue bus. He wouldn’t do that. Christ never bad-mouths or pushes people to become a workaholic to gain favor from God. He doesn’t want anyone too busy earning for time alone with Him.
Real Christianity instead of all that that is passed off as such… is a walk with Jesus as Lord, a sacred trust, an abiding in Him and involves freely receiving from Him what we need moment by moment. He said come. He said His yoke is easy. He said learn from Him.
Christ wants us all to know this. He wants us to live and walk surrounded by a consciousness of His lead and His love. He said, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” John 15:9
You know we can pray on the go anywhere and at any time. It doesn’t have to be out loud or happen in a certain physical position like on your face. The Lord encouraged us to stop and pray. “I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13). The purpose of all prayer is so that God will be glorified. Imagine how that realization can change our prayer life.
Are you striving in the flesh, all uptight, hurting, nervous, or pretty worried about what will happen in your future?
Limit your time on TV, on the web, and watching all the bad news. Meditate upon the Good News instead.
The Lord hasn’t said IF to you, but rather "WHEN you pass through the waters..." At some point, we will all go through the strong currents of life. But God is also saying, “Don’t be afraid! I’ll be with you; and you’ll never, ever go under!” Isaiah 43:1-2
If you’ve experiencing the pain of rending and a broken relationship in or outside of a church, just remember that God loves you deeply and He has promised to never leave you or push you like some puffed up or calloused legalism.
Listen, Christ is your peace. Stretching might be good for your outer tent so to speak, but you don’t have to do any yoga or repeat some dumb mantra just to find peace. Simply abide in Christ and pray. Repent and appropriate. By faith draw from HIS Person, power and peace. See John 14:27
When you feel kinda down or weary from the battle of everyday life, you’re the perfect candidate to be accepted by God to receive forgiveness, strength and power from Him. See Isaiah 40:29 in its context.
Doesn’t the God who created the universe out of nothing and put all the stars in place, have the power to take care of your situation?

The peace of God that passes all understanding is far more than just “having a good day” What is it? It's God’s “shalom” to any and all who will call upon the Name of Jesus. Shalom is a wonderful Hebrew word that means completeness, wholeness, and blessing for the total person. Want this? You must be born from above. kurtwvs.tumblr.com
