If I'm too busy for Jesus...I'm just too busy.

Been runnin' some errands today. Yes, runnin'. Been kinda busy during this Christmas Season it seems. Yup. Perhaps it’s been like that for many out there? But man!… I never wanna get uber-busy or lose sight of Christ at Christmas - it’s his Birthday. Me figures... If I become too busy for time with Jesus... I'm just too busy. He must come first.

Can a believer lose God at Christmas? Technically, the answer is no.

But practically speaking ..the answer could be yes ..yes indeed for some individuals so we all need to walk wisely.

In all the busyness of Christmas especially here in the Western world, it is too easy to rush, hustle, bustle strive in the flesh, and forget all about the Person and Birthday of this One Person that we are supposedly celebrating - Christ.

There's a time for us believers to stop and pray and or study His word. There's a time to wait to hear from Him, and there's also a time to take action and move on out in faith as we walk with the Lord leading us. Basic stuff huh.

What time is it for you today?

"Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask [you]. Act [appropriately]! Action will delineate and define you." ― Thomas Jefferson, see5/7two.cor

I guess a better way to put it is...any of us could 'leave' God anywhere along the way. I never want to do that. I'd rather just grow closer and closer in this relationship daily.

Do you remember in the Scriptures where Mary and Joseph 'lost Jesus'? You recall how and where they lost track of where Christ was right?

"And when He became twelve, they went up there according to the custom of the Feast; and as they were returning, after spending the full number of days, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. But His parents were unaware of it, but supposed Him to be in the caravan, and went a day's journey; and they began looking for Him among their relatives and acquaintances.." See Luke 2

What's so cool about this story in the Bible is that it's also an encouraging story of how these two lovers of Christ also found Him ...and any of us who have lost sight of Jesus can turn around and find Him as well. Sure, if we search for Jesus will all our hearts instead of half-heartedly. You already know this. Let's be motivated and inspired to seek the Lord today..okay. He loves you so much and Christ just loves to be found by any of us humans who can so easily get distracted. God bless you! ~  @kurtwvs  Let's friend at: facebook.com/kurtwvs
