Let Your Holy Spirit become like a double-shot of strong spiritual espresso for Your Church so to speak. Help us stay alert, vigilant, ready and fully obedient cuz we love You. Be glorified in us today. There are still so many who know of dead religion, but haven't really heard the freeing Gospel of grace. And You love em and still have a Task for us to do. Too many of us just seem to doze off in a cozy slumber fallin' fast asleep. Not good. "Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming." (Matthew 24:42)
"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." (v. 44)
Unlike many I won't pick an end-date for any, but check it out around you. What can you tell about the change of seasons these days? "But the one who endures to the end will be saved." (v. 13)
But Kurt, what does the Bible say about what happens to those who do not endure to the end? Good question. The Bible remains silent on that.
