Man, what power the Lord of creation has - even the waves obey Him (Col. 1:15-17). And guess what.. Christ still has both the right and the authority to instruct the wind and the waves we see. So interesting how this miracle caused His disciples to greatly fear instead of just trust Him more (v. 40). Why not trust Jesus and overcome your fears by feeding your faith in Him?
The new normal in our really bad economy, as well as with all the home-grown terrorism (i.e., a lady was beheaded in Oklahoma City yesterday) and distant terrorism that news commentators say is headed here ..has caused many of our friends to become very afraid.
