Feelin' so grateful for the Cross. I sure deserved it and the judgement plus some. Didn't have to take it.
It's offensive to so many who love their sin, but we don't need to act offensive. "For the Message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." 1 Cor. 1:18
"Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the Cross." Col. 2:14 nkjv
Clearly share the meaning of the Cross today and give people an opportunity to respond. Why?
Well, cuz it doesn't tickle the ears like so much of what's allegedly taught in His Names does. But instead the Cross of Christ literally confronts the evil and sin head-on and demands a change from sinners like me.

"They will want something to tickle their own fancies" (phl) instead of talk about what's wrong, repentance, and that wooden tree, "For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching.
