In Our Day.. Has The Gospel Of Christ Lost Any Power? Nope.

Not any at all. Share it without fear. Pray and be confident..where you are with your friends. Open the Bible, read, live, and in love .. boldly proclaim it with a sense of expectation and urgency.

"The Gospel of Christ is a Message of life and hope for all the world." ~ Billy Graham

Still rejoicing over what God pulled off nationwide last night ..in 2000 venues at the same time. Feelin' grateful for the teamwork of Greg Laurie, Jack Graham and all the thousands who have been working on Harvest America for a long time. Pure passion, truth with no mixture of error, and unity in the family are so important. Glory to God - great things He has done.

"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season... Do the work of an evangelist." 2 Timothy 4:2,5 nkjv

As the Lord leads you, believer, simply give the people in your sphere of influence an opportunity to turn and trust Christ on the spot. And then watch what the Lord will do
I’m looking at the early H.A. stats. I mean regarding what the Lord did for the two nights of HarvestAmerica.com outreach two nights ago. BTW Thanks for praying for Greg Laurie and these new babies in God's Kingdom. Let's continue so that each person will get rooted in the Word, find healthy Bible teaching churches, and mature in Christ so they will go and win people to Jesus!
78,00 people came to Angel Stadium for the two nights.

8147 people came down to the field to make a profession of faith.
2798 people registered their decision to follow Christ via the Internet.
That’s a total of 10,945 professions of faith via the stadium and webcast!
To God be the glory!
Plus, 2,416 venues carried Sunday night Harvest America live.
That is not to even mention the TV and Radio outlets.
And of course people are still watching what happened with this event ..via the web. Praise the Lord. Sounds kinda like the work of a combine on a big farm huh. I already feel ready for the next Harvest America happening.

Feeling so grateful and stoked to see a part of the harvest come in at Harvest America 2012

Don't you just love to sing to, hear more about, and also talk about Christ with His people? I sure do. Don't you also really love to see people responding to the Gospel Message - babies being born.. again? I love to simply be around that happening. Nothing beats being near that while here on earth. Did you get a chance to hear this most important Message - the Gospel?

What a wonderful King we serve. Merciful and gracious - a forgiving God!  "God has done exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever imagine." ~ Pastor Chuck Smith

So glad that Jesus isn't merely One who used to save, heal, deliver, restore, revive, and help people. It's so cool that He still does what He always did.. cuz of His great love for people. Yes, He indeed is the same yesterday, today, and forever ..and He will indeed be there for you tomorrow.

Liney, and I really had great time in Dallas tonight at the first Harvest America event with our friends. And we were so blessed to see my former pastor friend, Greg Laurie and the Harvest team do such an uber-excellent job all the way through the entire event. No squeezing for bucks, no manipulation of emotions, no religious or churchy weirdness, no phoniness, but it was authentically loving and generously giving out the truth without compromise. What examples to follow in this.

They kept it simple, straightforward, clear and to the point and God was glorified. We called pastors, churches and people for many months, but God blessed and it was a big success. How can I even describe it for you who couldn't make it this time?

My short vids clips below of course don't even come close to doing it justice. Fellowship, soul-winning and things like these are meant to be experienced up close, and firsthand rather than from too far away where it's not personal.

One thing is for sure. God is up close all the time. The Kingdom of God is at hand. The Spirit of Jesus is right near you, no matter where you are or what you have to share with Him. He loves you everyday.

Man, I just feel like worshiping the Lord all the more now. Liney and I kinda had a spontaneous fellowship after-party with friends at our house just to continue with the time of celebrating. Don't want the blessing to end.

I am writing this because I sincerely want to say.. Thank you to all those who prayed for it, who showed up to support Greg, Jack Graham and all the other pastors around the nation. We sure saw a whole lot of people turn and come to Christ where we were. What a privilege to be apart of what God is pulling off in these last days before the Rapture of the Church!

Did you know that there were 41,000 people at Angel Stadium last night, with 600 Christian Radio Stations (let alone the Christian TV networks) that aired it live, and that there were 4,288 responding in the affirmative to the accept-or-reject, yes or no proposition? Last night! There were. Awesome huh and only God knows what happened tonight (8/26). It will be interesting to hear about more of this weekend's outreach results as the days roll by ..I mean from the 2,000 venues all across America.

It was real, it was unique, it was basically the power of the Gospel that was so evident. People were literally shaking and in tears around us as they watched so many people stream forward to trust Christ. Thanks and all glory to God! Great things He has done.

Be encouraged to be proactive in establishing this love relationship with God now. Read your new/old Bible every day (write if you don't have one). Pray in your own words to God every day - He'll hear you. Find a church fellowship with spiritual, born again believers who are growing in the Word rather than lukewarm, worldly-minded, or carnal with compromising behavior. And go tell someone about this decision that you made. Let Jesus be Lord of every moment, leading, guiding, and ministering to you as you minister to Him and to others. Yes, if you prayed for the first time tonight and you now need some follow-up attention if you will, or you just need to connect with Greg and God's people better... as you take deep root in the living Word of God, then please click here. We rejoice with you and want to continue to praise God for what He has done in your life.

Exalt, lift up on high the Name of Jesus. Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King.
I say don't just be a believer, be a disciple for Christ. Every disciple is a believer, but unfortunately not every believer is a disciple following the Lord's lead. I say worship the Lord wholeheartedly..daily and with other believers. Be yourself in Him. Don’t be afraid to start humbly ministering God’s love early on. So many need it – more now that ever. It’s God’s will that we each become a part of a Bible teaching, praying fellowship where we can have a part even if we aren’t called to become a full time preacher of sorts. Use wisdom, pray, and refuse to be embarrassed to share your faith in Christ.

It is so easy to become a spectator in even a decent, healthy local church rather than a vital spiritual participant. It is way easy to become critical, to critique in a wrong way, to become somewhat of an armchair quarterback while others are trying to minister. You know what I mean; it’s easy to watch a baseball game on TV and say, "Man, that was stupid and wrong” (when it was just a preference call and not wrong ). “Man, I would have never thrown that type of pitch at this point of the game. Dumb.” But Hey, if you have ever played baseball, then it's kind of a different matter altogether when out there on the diamond huh.
President Theodore Roosevelt once said: "It is not the critic who counts, not the man who points out where the strong stumbled or how the doer could have done better. The credit belongs to the man who is in the arena, his face marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly, who errs and falls short again and again: There is no effort without error." God just wants you to be yourself in Christ and function well in His body.. "And you are living stones that God is building into his spiritual temple. What's more, you are his holy priests. Through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God."  2/5one.pete.bible
So SO thank-deserving and bragify-worthy (I guess that's a new term) ..is Christ! Yes, it's good to brag on Jesus more than about anyone else cuz no one has done what He has done for others. No one is more wonderful than Him and rest assured that Jesus will be loyal to you, and fully faithful as you go the distance with Him.

"Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the Majesty." 29|11one.chr.

Can I say it once again? Thank you for taking part. You know that it takes us all praying and working together in unity. I know that Greg and Cathe Laurie are feelin' blessed. And the angels in heaven are literally rejoicing over the harvest that Christ reached out to save tonight. I'm ready to start praying for Harvest America 2013.. if Christ doesn't return before then. Again, it was also so great to hear all our friends quoting the Gospel out loud.. from John 3:16.. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Simon Had A Real Bro, One That Took Action "To Bring Him."

Yeah, he had brother in Andrew who cared enough to open his mouth to share, and to bring Pete to Jesus.

Will you do that? Could God also use you in saying…

"Come and see." ~ John 1:39

How often do you visit the Mall? In many department stores today, employees are trained and thoroughly instructed to tactfully guide.. to take customers to find exactly what they are looking for.. rather than merely pointing or gesturing this way or that.. rather than merely giving the customer-guest verbal directions on how to find it.

That's just good customer service and when you think about it, this common act of courtesy is so American.. I mean just walking alongside of the seeker until they find.

Christians, of all people, even though we aren't lookin' to make a financial profit in a sale.. need to do this. We are either gathering or scattering.. unto Christ. And guess what… our curious friends really need this from us even more than that. It takes humility, insight, warmth, discernment and love.

And question… is there a better time to learn this than right now? No.

It's time to Harvest America.

Yes, we each have a part to play so to speak. You know how "fishing for souls" (witnessing for Christ, with the aim to win someone to righteousness via true repentance and faith in His finished work on the cross..) can be a one-time event. It can also happen naturally over time as we continue to meet with that person.. as we considerately, wisely, sympathetically and perhaps even skillfully share the Good News about what He did for us.

But witnessing may also involve simply walking alongside that person, that one who has been out seeking for love in all the wrong places so to speak.

Our genuine interest in them as a valuable person; in their spiritual welfare, in their overall benefit is so important. And our prayers for them can make a huge difference. I encourage this. Yes, our personal involvement with them alone even send a message that says: "Come and see. Hey, let's walk together, and I'll simply take you to the one Person who can answer every question, and can meet every need that you will ever have."

Use words, ask some key questions, don't get too personal, but add in there some real kindness and compassion as well.

Been looking at (these verses today).. "Again, the next day, John stood with two of his disciples. And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, 'Behold the Lamb of God!'"

Isn't that exactly what we as believers need to say, "Behold the Lamb"? Sure it is. We don't say behold me, or other. We point them to God.

John the Baptizer wasn't some milquetoast, timidly chic-ified wimp of a guy feeling all ashamed or embarrassed inside. No, he knew Christ and he was very bold in helping the people of his day.. where they most needed to be helped. We can pray and appropriate the same kind of anointed attitude.

They, like us, were sinners back in the day and they, like us, were in rad-need of a Savior. Yes indeed, they needed "saving" more than anything else. And that's a biblical term by the way, one that I'll keep using.

You see, I grew up on the Southern California coast and when I saw a Laguna Beach lifeguard fishing a valley-dude up from the depths of the Pacific Ocean to perform some CPR on the sandy person, what I was witnessing was a dying man that was being saved. Perhaps you still need to be saved?

It's a good term no matter how many religious types use or miss-use it.

Primarily pointing people… not to self or to some other minister, or politician, or guru… but to Jesus the Savior—that's still so very important. I try to get people out to vote right, but what even comes close to this in significance?

What your country needs today, what my country needs today.. is Christ and the positively-disruptive spiritual awakening that only He can bring. We, the Church, for the most part have been adrift here.. away from God for several years now. And the time is now that we need stop this. It's the time for something new and good. We need the authentic biblical reviving of God's Spirit if we are to continue. You and your nation need the same thing. I don't mean some scary-strange televangelist hype in the name of revival—I mean the real deal.

Our Lands, yours and mine, need to hear the Message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ more than anything else.

Even if this ministry stuff is not our full-time profession, can we all preach Him for decisions? I mean very clearly, no-compromise, with an accept-or-reject-proposition in a non-pushy or preachy kinda way?

Absolutely—we all are called to worship Him and do this by His power. You, me—we ain't our own. We've been bought at a high price.

Yup, the nations of this world still need the Gospel more than anything else. No politician, no prophet with fire in his eyes, no new tech, or preacher with so-called-miracles in his hands.. no famous talk show host, no cool new music group even is going to undo all the whackness, weirdness, and problematic-jive that we in our waywardness have brought about.

There are many motivational speakers out there on the circuit (I enjoy hearing some of them ..) and they are raking in the bucks trying to moralize our country, but more moral dead people here is not what's needed. You know secular reforming ain't going to save our country from its rapid decline, from its increase in murderous crime, and filthy degradation. Let's do something different and get back to the Bible. Let's do something different and apply what it says.

The Scripture passage goes on to say, "The two disciples heard him speak [John 1:37], and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, 'What do you seek?' They said to Him, 'Rabbi' (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), 'where are You staying?'"

Funny response. I guess they just wanted to hangout with Christ cuz they were curious.

And "He [Jesus, who likes to hangout with sinners like you and me..] said to them, 'Come and see.' They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour)."

Isn't that exactly what we need to say? Come and see! You know.. when they sincerely ask, "Can you tell me where I can find a lightbulb?...I'm so sick of jamming and stubbing my toes in this place where I can't see a thing"

"Sure. Come with me, and I'll take you to where the light is." You know that a witness is one who shares their personal experience of how they turned and emerged from darkness and how they saw God's light in Christ so they wouldn't have to stumble around in the black of night any longer.

You may be tempted to debate to change another's view, but nothing speaks more powerfully than what Christ did in you. ~ Sper

"Hey there, I'm starving-hungry. Can you show me where I can find some bread?"

"For sure. I've been hungry before. Come and see! Yeah, walk with me, and I'll take you right now to where the bread is."

We're called to be witnesses. People who shares our own personal experiences of how we became fully satisfied in Christ—the actual bread of life.

The Gospel has to be proclaimed, its truth we need to share; but sometimes seekers also need to see how much we care. ~ Sper

Then.. "One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, 'We have found the Messiah' (which is translated, the Christ).

And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, 'You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas' (which is translated, A Stone)." That was the look of love.

And Christ's love saved Pete. What a wonderful story—and it had a happy ending for Cephas too. It can for you as well! Turn and come to Christ just like you are.. willing for Him to change you.

If you're already a believer, then pray, expect, and go tactfully bring someone to Christ. You can't same em, I can't save em, but God can. He can use us to Harvest if you will, lost and lonely people in America

And God is so delighted to use people in this endeavor as they sow, water, and reap the way that His Son did this.. "From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, 'Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'" (Matt. 4:17-20, nkjv, emphasis mine).

Want help in harvesting?

If I may.. permit me to ask once again. Do you perhaps need a location to bring an unbeliever to? Ok, you're on. Bring em to Harvest America (one of the 1,893 spots in the USA, or simply find a laptop with a bud, a smart phone, or even a library computer if needed) this upcoming Sunday evening.

*Take some time away to first pray, and just to meditate upon how to bring em: Matthew 4:18-19 and John 1:42-43

"God does nothing except in response to believing prayer." ~ John Wesley

P. Our Father in heaven:  May Your Name be kept holy, may people around us hear from you when they hang with us. May they know what your heart and life and loving attitude and personality is really like cuz they see Jesus in us. May unbelievers be won to righteousness as we share the Word of God, and may all the believers that we meet be spiritually revived and restored by Your powerful yoke-breaking anointing. May You increase in each of us, and may we basically decrease so as not to get in Your way.. in Christ's Name I pray. Send spiritual awakening and send authentic biblical revival. Amen. c6/9matt.

May... Your Kingdom come on earth just as it is in heaven.

Choices, choices, choices, we all make em daily and also make em by postponing to make' em.

You and I must make choices.

"Every choice you make has an end result." ~ Zig Ziglar

"His authority on earth allows us to dare to go to all the nations. His authority in heaven gives us our only hope of success. And His presence with us leaves us no other choice." ~ John Stott

And sometimes making a choice or work decision... it can be kinda stressful huh. Maybe that is why it's so easy to put off commitments, decisions, and choices. Why do we land more choices to make than we even ask for? I don't know why.

Some are of course less important that other ones and therefore some are subsequently less stressful than others. Are you a person who is quick to make a decision, or do you tend to take more time than the average person in this area?

Are you an American male? I have quite a few male buds who really like to put choices off as long as they can, and sometimes I even join their ranks in this.

But we all make thousands of choices each and every day as life rolls onwards. Some choices seem to be uber-insignificant or even mundane... and then later on we discover that they were more significant than we first perceived them to be. Then others seem to be hugely important, but then we find out they weren't that big of a deal at all.

Some choices could alter the very course of our lives. We need to pray about em all.

The second biggest, second most important choice that I made was when I opted to ask to get married to Liney Pelzer in Northern Colorado over 30 years ago. This choice changed my life a lot ...yeah, for the better cuz she is the greatest Christian I know. Never knew I was so spoiled and selfish 'til after I got married. Grateful to God for Her and He is still working on me too. I feel thankful to her as well.. for putting up with me. Glory to God.. wanna be more like the groom of the Church (Christ's bride).

The most important choice that I made was to turn from.. to totally ditch the dead religion and dead church that I was raised in along with my dead works in trying to please God in my own strength. Yup, and to put my faith in the Jesus Christ of the Bible for salvation. He showed up. Yes that was it - trusting in Him and in His finished work on the cross at Calvary.

Have you made that apex decision yet? None are more important than that choice.

This is one decision that you really don't wanna to put off until it is too late. Q. Do you know when your last day here on earth will be? I sure don't. Please don't put this decision off another day. Enter through the Door - Christ is the only way in. I so want you with Him and with me and with all the saints forever. Q. Are there any prophecies that still need to be fulfilled before the Rapture of the Church takes place? A. No.

Hey there's no party in hell - never will be so don't listen to people tell you there will be. Open the Bible and see that what I am saying is true.

Christ is still my first love and He has proven to be so faithful over the years. I trusted Him in the Spring of 1977. I never regret it. Not even one moment. He gives life and abundant life - He alone can forgive sins and we've all blown it. He says...

"'Come now, let's settle this,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool.’” Isaiah 1:18, nlt

Hey gang, we all make our choices big and small; and then our choices make us. Some people grow up in the Lord, mature spiritually, and become big while others stay small in their thinking and in their living. I say go big in the Lord.

Choosing to open your mouth about what you believe in is one choice that God can use to get your loved ones in right standing with the Lord, believer. This is one why to grow, as you obey the moment by moment promptings of the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to be filled with the Spirit and then go tell. It's so edifying and actually fun to witness and win people to Christ.. as He alone saves them.

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

Allow me to ask you one more question: Are you making wise spiritual choices today so that you will grow spiritually?

Are you compromising spiritually or are you reading the Bible, applying the Bible, praying like you mean it.. cuz you do... and fellowshippin' about spiritual matters with on-fire mature believers ...and as an outgrowth of these basic disciplines.. are you witnessing without fear? I say talk to the Lord candidly about each of these areas, cuz He can give you more hunger for Him and for the things of God. He so understands you and all that you are going through..and He wants to use you for His glory..while your friends are still sucking air so to speak. facebook.com/shareJesus

Truth is not what you or I feel it is..

..per se - feelings can be so fickle.

Truth is what God in His Word says it is.

Your so called truth can not be contrary to my so called truth if one if us is actually accurate with the truth. Truth doesn't change and we believers are to share the truth and God's kind of love... with others ...leaving the results up to God. Yeah, He is the only One who can set people free and save them with the truth.

In fact Jesus said that He was the Way, The truth and the Life - His life totally corresponds with all that is true and pure and holy.

Currently lookin' at: "Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, 'Behold, I have put My Words in your mouth.'" see jer1/9,2tim3/16-17

Nearly 4,000 times statements such as "Thus says the Lord," "the Lord said to me," and "The Word of the Lord came unto me," etc., are found in the Bible. The Bible has a supernatural origin - it's from one God. facebook.com/shareJesus
