Guess Who Is On God’s Mind Today

Guess who He is thinkin' about this very moment?

You ..yup you, silly..right now ....and others too, just like you want Him to!

So SO wanna keep God on my mind.. and others too.

I've read about all those in the Bible who forgot God. Have you?

Not a pretty sight. They somehow got distracted to lame things, quit praying, and then found themselves worshiping stupid idols that were manmade. They often listened to the wrong advice from ungodly people.

And then they came up with their own solutions apart from the Lord and THAT only made matters worse ..until they remembered God's Word ..and returned to Him. Our opinions and solutions might be worth a dime, but His always have great and lasting value.

Today is a good day to pause and inquire of Him in prayer. Never hurts. He might even answer your prayer in the affirmative today!

This is a very good day to remember and return to the Lord with full confession, turning, and earnestness.. or even to approach Him with that kinda stuff for the very first time!

Like me do you ever get tired of waiting? Ever get fed up with it and want to hit something?

"Why do You forget us forever, and forsake us for so long a time?" ~ Lamentations 5:20

"..then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage." ~ Deuteronomy 6:12

True faith can grow during times like these. Tick, tock, tick, tock..as the clock's hand's march onward never to return. "Easy for you to say, Kurt. Don't be a jerk. You have no idea what I'm facing."

True, don't mean to be, but trust Him anyways no matter what you feel like.. no matter what is going on around you. He is still  in control ..even when other's are losing it.

Don't mean to sound uncaring or cavalier, but He is God (our perfect loving FATHER) and we are His servants, His children.. not visa verse. He knows when the time is right to grant our requests. So decide to be patient and prayerful!

The Lord says, "I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands" (Isa. 49:15-16, nkjv). Yup, you are right there on His heart and mind today. Can't take His gaze off of you for a sec cuz He loves you so!

Perhaps it doesn't seem like you have been on God's mind at all. Maybe if feels like He is a million plus miles away for a long long time..and ignores every prayer you pray.

He doesn't. He hears. He understands. He is moved. He feels for you. He is able and He's working things out.

Reject the lie of the enemy that tells you God doesn't love you anymore. Reject what your old nature demands and find your comfort in fellowship with God's Spirit. Reject what this world system tell you about what you must have in order to be happy. Christ is your portion and He is enough.. way more than enough! The Psalmist said, "My flesh and my heart fail; but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (Ps. 73:26). ).

Think about Abraham who waited for what seemed like forever to him, but in spite of it all, he "believed in the Lord, and He [God] accounted it to him for righteousness" (Gen. 15:6).

Do you really believe that God's silence in your life is to be interpreted that He has somehow forgotten you? Oh, no, no.. please don't do that! That's unlike His holy nature.

The Lord with his perfect character has engraved your unique ..or not-so-unique.. name onto the palms of His strong hands. A nursing mama today, with this contemporary world's flashy techno-distractions might forget her nursing baby at mealtime (which you know rarely ever happens..) before God could actually forget about you!

Sure! He's so there for you, so attentive ..and He is so much better than any really caring or half responsible mom. That's why we believers can simply relax, rest, and even think about reaching out to others.

"Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, yet I will not forget you" ~ Isaiah 49:15, nkjv

"We're waiting for You, Lord, to come and take us home to be with You; Your promise to return for us gives hope because we know it's true." ~ Sper

You are on God's heart and on His mind every moment of this day. He is fully informed and aware of your tough circumstances and He will indeed bring about all the changes when He knows the time is exactly right. Talk to Him. Stay close. You won't regret it.
