May I ask.. are you a fake believer that deep down inside really wants to become real.. but your own efforts and intentions just aren't doing any changing of you from the inside out?
No offense really.. but perhaps you've become a pretty skilled poser and not too many people around you even know that you aren't more than merely religious.. and lost. That's sad. Listen, Jesus cares about you in all your vain strivings. Isn't it time to find your rest in Him?

Bottom line.. A false front belies a true faith. Say it until it sinks in. This will help you.
It's often times not how you act that shows how spiritual you are, but how you react.
This goes for you believers as well. Christian, ask yourself.. do I consistently walk in the Spirit or do I react in the flesh?
Hey, everyone at the harbor (..that's where I grew up) knows that the light that illuminates the farthest out ..to help other sailors.. shines the clearest and brightest nearest to home.
Are you a bight and shining light with your family and your relatives? Yup, real Christianity starts in the home.. teenagers, adults, children! Those who know you best should admire you the most.
Why? Because of the godliness of your honest, sober, joyous and victorious life, Christian. But if your life contradicts your lips, if your deeds go against your constantly public verbal message.. if ya ain't really walkin' your talk, then guess what? There's a root problem that needs to be dealt with.
If you don't practice what you preach if you will, then you cannot witness with authority and boldness as our loving Lord wants you to experience daily. Why just say your prayers when Jesus wants to teach you to pray and obey, religious person?

Jesus said, "Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit that is produced. Not all people who sound religious are really godly. They may refer to me as `Lord,' but they still won't enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is whether they obey my Father in heaven. On judgment day many will tell me, 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in Your name and cast out demons in Your Name and performed many miracles in Your Name.' But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Go away; the things you did were unauthorized. Anyone who listens to My teaching and obeys Me is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock" (Matt. 7:20-24, nlt).
Listen, you are no more spiritual than you are at your worst moment, so take time to get alone with the Lord on your knees and in His Word early ..before the hectic stress and busy happenings of the day begin—it'll indeed affect your non-alone time! What you are in private is what you are and if you are real there, then go public with it! With Christ take His message and love into all your world ..expecting miracles. He still does em you know.
Do you need to get right with Jesus Christ? Please do it now while you are thinking about this. Remember a false walk belies a true witness.
