What do ya do durin' a recession that experts say is over on Wall Street but not yet over on Main Street.. resess (take a vacation from Jesus), retreat (from the good fight of faith), retire, run away?
Nawww! Re-seek (Christ, to know Him and His direct will for you.. and His Kingdom ahead of all the other junk - Matt. 6:33), reassess (with your spending, fruit, productivity, close friendships, goals), remove (all spiritual hindrances - what's unnecessary, clutter), re-prioritize (with Christ 1st, spouse 2nd, family 3rd etc.), reset (everything into order under proper authority), remind (yourself, and those close to you of the basic principles, disciplines of growth, outreach practices and about what really matters for eternity), re-fire (do your part to appropriate upward ardor, red hot fervor and holy passion), revive (what was fallin' asleep), re-win (all those who have been drifting away from their first love relationship ..and from church fellowship). Yup, when others have given up, don't you. Go for it in Jesus Christ!
