Primarily, Why Were You Born?

Good question huh! Ever think about that? What's the main purpose of your existence?

Principally, you were created to evangelize and serve others…

NOT!!!

Yup, neither serving others nor verbally witnessing is your first calling. Can you believe that you are hearing that from me? Man, I love anointed personal evangelism!

Too many today think they will please God if they are workaholics in service to others for Jesus Christ ..and they only go and hurt their families and friends. It's just wrong.

You were primarily designed to worship the God who made you for Himself. It's really not to serve or witness to lost people primarily ..even though it's so good to do both of those activities in His will ..as a natural outgrowth of personal worship of Christ. If you prioritize expressing the worth-ship of God first, then you can be a more effective servant and fisher unto His glory!

He wants all of you. Yes, you where made for Him—to worship Him for Who He is, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth" (Jn. 4:24, nkjv).

The Bible speaks of God, "Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace…" (Eph. 1:5,6, emphasis mine).

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at His footstool—He is holy. ~Psalm 99:5

You alone are worthy, Lord, to be worshiped and adored;
We to You our tribute bring as our hearts rejoice and sing. ~Hess

What does real worship mean? I can explain this some.

But there is no reason not to worship Christ today! Read the entire entry...
