Will You Serve Christ Or A Liar?

We here in Texas (my family) are doing well this month. Blessed and ready to go with the Gospel! Thanks for the prayers. It's no time to quit or be distracted; it's time to be encouraged in the Lord, to be on-fire and to fight the good fight of faith in righteousness! We have peace, have joy, have Jesus and now pray God's will be done in this Land! Too many still don't.

Who are you going to serve today on October 31st (..or during everyday in your future for that matter)? Will it be Christ or a liar? Will you influence others in a positive way for Jesus (by your good attitude, good deeds, good example and by sharing the Gospel with others) or influence others in a negative way? It's a no-brainer Who we should serve.. huh. One to serve is very honest and kind and the other one is a deceiver (the devil, who is out to totally trash you and all that you hold dear).

Mr. Lu Cifer Is A Well-practiced Liar

There is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. —John 8:44, nlt

Satan has been around a long time studying the gullibility, weaknesses and life-patterns of people ..and he knows how to deceive them. He’s a very cunning and clever liar because he can make his lies sound like the truth. In fact he likes to mix God’s truth with his poisonous lies (we’ve unfortunately also seen many ministers even within Christendom and some political leaders do this). That’s why we must be filled with Christ’s Spirit, with faith and with discernment today.

Faith of our fathers, living still in spite of dungeon, fire,

and sword—O how our hearts beat high with joy..

whene'er we hear that glorious Word! —Faber

Are you filled with faith, with the Holy Spirit and a desire to help people? If so you are a threat to Hell. Yes, Satan is wanting to throw-down and take you out ..permanently! He has a goal to rearrange your thought processes in order to get you to doubt God. But Christ is our victory today and you can know Him in a personal and meaningful way ..not just know about Him.

Had A Day Free Just To Hang Out And Relax

Heard any good clean jokes recently? Q: Did you hear about the dyslectic agnostic with insomnia? A: He used to lay awake at night wondering if there really was a dog.

Kurt, what does that have to do with anything? Nothin', I just like it and a long-time friend just told me that. So, what have you been up to lately? I went on a nice long morning walk today with my Mp3 player and hoodie on ..across a nearby glistening dew-covered field. For real. It was beautiful and chilly ("chilly" would be a good thing in Texas). Yup, that's how we like it. My dog, Roxy, got in a loud fight twice today to protect me ..kind of (you see the other two dogs were each behind a wooden fence as they were growling and barking at each other).

You should have seen Roxy's hair on her back stand up in a mohawk (see photo below)—such a wimpy poser! She even chased after a big ole alley cat ..that is until Roxy came within 15 feet of the cat. But when it stopped, turned about, and faced-off with her. The wild animal show was over at that point.

Our dog Roxy wouldn't dare stand up to her (Roxy is small and the cat was big and fat). So what have you been up to? Have you done any verbal witnessing lately? It can be a lot of fun! I really enjoyed talking and praying with a guy named David recently, who had been visiting my website. He called and even came by wanting to get right with Christ and that is exactly what happened. How cool is that? Praise the Lord ten thousand times ten million times! Election day will soon be here. Have you done any early voting yet? Was it crowded? Let's remember to pray for all our leaders now and in the future.

The Bible says, "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayer

s, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved…" (1 Tim. 2:1-4). Fish4Souls.org

Would You Put The Cross Or The Flag On Top?

Why Not Go With The Cross? It Can Do What Politics And All Politicians Put Together Can Not Do!

Are you feeling sick of all things “political” by now? I remember how I would typically get feeling about Christmas by the middle of November …you know, after getting bombarded with holiday gift commercials starting in August. It was like; let’s get this holiday over with already.

Many Christians feel that way about the election and some have already given up on the whole thing feeling they know the outcome in advance, but I’m not ready to quit, I’m ready to pray and vote.

Please keep the main thing the main thing through all of this! Please ignore the liberal news media get alone with your Maker to fast and talk it over. It really is a tight race and there is indeed room for hope.

Why should we refuse to quit? Why should keep ourselves from getting too busy for time alone with Christ? I'll tell you why. We really don't want to lose the fruit of love. And we don’t quit obeying the Lord, because we want to try our best to hand the next generation and Christians the best America we can ..so it will be better for them and easier for Christians to spread the Gospel, rather than harder for them. Trying to reform sinners is a waste of time, and no one needs a worse hood to survive and function in!

Maybe you are wondering if there are any verses that deal with politics and nationalism. There are some. I remember reading how Jesus said to some religionists (who were out to trap Him) of His day, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."

God expects us citizens to wisely get involved. You know how God created the world “good” and how His intention was and is that human beings should rule it in a good way accordingly (see Gen. 1:26, 28).

In the Old Testament the Israelites were commanded not to rule "ruthlessly" but instead they were to manage things and walk in the "fear God" (see Lev. 25:43). Proverbs 1:7 states that "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." So to the extent that the Lord’s image-bearers follow Christ and rule this earth under God’s absolute authority, truth, and wise counsel, will they actually respectively fulfill their own human-task. Part of fulfilling our respective callings individually as Christians, will include wise voting and evangelizing. Praise God we are still legally allowed to do both! That could change.

But it would be great if all politicians were really in Christ, committed, and others-orientated rather than selfish huh. I still think more able believers with His heart, should run for office here in America. The arena of politics is not an area for the Church to avoid!

There seems to be so much passion and excitement on both sides of the ticket this time around. I missed it the other night, but did find it interesting how Sarah Palin was such a hit on "Saturday Night Live." How did NBC get their highest ratings for that late-night comedy show in 14 years with her on there, with an estimated 14 million viewers, and 17 million for the first half-hour? How did she so radically beat Obama in viewer-ship on SNL? I wonder how Obama’s stadium-filling charisma and the straightforward charming Palin-factor will affect the future outcome of this election? Did you hear that recent quote given to a guy named Joe...

"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." —Obama

That revealing socialistic line of thought got poor old Joe the plumber—the nation's “every man” who has now become the nation’s football to kick around—in some hot water. Some ask why Joe wasn't vetted, but I wonder why William Aires is never check out by the media? Maybe Joe will think twice next time when he decides to simply go out into his yard to toss a football to his son. Man my heart goes out to the Wurzelbacker family. There’s so much candidate-talk about creating new jobs, but Joe’s business has effectively been shut down and he wasn’t even the one going out to look for trouble.

I personally still wish we had a third and better candidate running, but it is really a no-brainer to me who would be better for this nation and who I will vote for. I won’t tell. Maybe you feel the same way.

And I certainly won't tell anyone who to vote for, but all Christians need to be interceding about now. We need to keep our eyes open and not give up the good fight of faith. We need to also keep first things first! We all need to get off our pews and show up at the poles in Jesus’ Name yes, not do that according to our feelings or according to what others ..or the media are pushing for.

Let’s glorify God in our wide-eye-observations and thinking. Listen to both sides closely and discern! Senator Obama just presented his customized economic plan on Monday, which includes initiatives to:

—help people who remain in homes they can't afford

—impose a 90-day ban on foreclosures

—bailout states and localities awash in budget deficits

—create a new federal lending entity

—reduce health-care costs by having government invest (read: spend tax-dollars) for "preventive care, new technology" and increased access to providers

—government "investment" (read: spending) for new teachers, college tuition, and "green jobs"

—payments of $3,000 to businesses for each new job created

And all this is added to Obama's "tax cut" goal – which is in truth a huge new welfare program that will cut checks to 95% of Americans …even though one-third of Americans do not pay any taxes at all (but I bet they'll indeed be willing to receive a check from Mr. Obama). Obama thinks that when we "spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody" but is that really fair and just?

What do you think about McCain’s thoughts as of late for growing our economy—like tax cuts on income, capital-gains, dividends as well as serious-minded reform in a sideways Washington? I heard him say, "If I'm elected President, I won't spend nearly a trillion dollars more of your money, on top of the $700 billion we just gave the Treasury Secretary, as Senator Obama proposes. ...If I'm elected President, I won't fine small businesses and families with children, as Senator Obama proposes, to force them into a new huge government run health care program, while I keep the cost of the fine a secret until I hit you with it. ... If I'm elected President, I won't raise taxes on small businesses, as Senator Obama proposes, and force them to cut jobs. ... I will keep small business taxes where they are, help them keep their costs low, and let them spend their earnings to create more jobs." We’ve all heard both sides by now, and there are still some things all Americans can do.

Here Are Four Ways You Can Make A Difference During This Election Season:

1. Decide to be saved by Jesus; get spiritual and pray often in the Holy Spirit. I know that might sound way religious, but its right and you would do well to even fast and pray with your church ..as God leads you. The apostle Paul basically instructed all his readers to hit their knees for all people in positions of authority (1Tim. 2:1-4). Prayer is to be an important aspect of political activism for Christians. Do you remember how William Wilberforce and his friends (later known as the Clapham Set) were all as committed to praying for social change as they were to engaging with government. England’s involvement in slave trading had to go and they needed more than mere carnal efforts.

2. Get informed, but not with half-truths. Effective prayer always needs to be well informed prayer. In order to keep abreast with the issues in your local community, society, nation and the world, be well read from the accurate sources online.

3. Do wake up and go vote! Jesus rose from the dead, so put feet to you faith and get out of bed! President Josiah Bartlet, the fictional President from that TV show called The West Wing, said "Decisions are made by those who show up." Democracy to a certain degree, gives people a stake in power and responsibility. So use your vote and use it wisely.

4. No matter what happens in the future, purpose to keep things in proper perspective. Remain more concerned with who will end up in God’s house, than who will end up in the Whitehouse ..starting with yourself, family and neighbors. Stay in fellowship first upwards and then outwards ..submitting to authority short of sin. And continue to love Christ and His cross above all else!

Do you love the cross of Jesus Christ? Do you have a relationship with the Jesus of the Bible? I sure do and am loving it! You can too right now! That is most important!

The cross address' man's pride about any good works he might do. It is the very focal point; the very intersection for all the years of history past and also for all the years still left before us (if there are still some years left before us in the future; look around you, Christ will indeed return soon). True Christians tend to differ on a lot of minor grey area non-essential things, but the cross is the very hub from which all the spokes of true Christendom actually stem from. All Christians can and must unify around the Christ who hung on that cross and around Essential Christian doctrine …and around nothing else. We must never divide over non-essential issues!

We must never add to the Word or to the cross. We don't take away from them either. We don't elevate the flag above the cross or superimpose the cross onto any nations flag ..like they are somehow synonymous or equal in importance. To be born under the American flag does not mean that one is a Christian at all.

The cross is the beautiful centerpiece of our faith (I’m not talking about jewelry here..), and the means by which God's forgiveness comes free of charge if we are willing to repent and believe. It's in the cross that we glory, rather than in any weak religion or in anything else this world has to offer ..no matter how glitzy or popular it might be. Remember, Jesus is the greatest Leader and He is the One this nation needs most during this critical hour.

And during this season, it is so easy for any of us to become distracted and turn our eyes away ..being drawn to secondary lesser things such as political maneuvering and bureaucratic advantage. Sure we all need to vote, but in the final analysis, we also need to have a clear view of how important know Christ is. Dying to self, the cross and following Jesus is what really matters. The cross is God the Father’s priority today! God the Father thinks the cross is radically important! God is not a Republican, a Democrat or an Independent American.

Redemption rather than political reformation is the Father’s top priority. So many here have lost all confidence in God’s strong ability to save Americans through the finished work of the cross, but that must change! Besides, democracy won’t even work here or anywhere if the hearts of men are wrong. Christ must be ruling the citizens from within ..living big in each one of them for democracy to work well on earth!

Who will we follow in our day? I’m so grateful Jesus didn’t say, “Follow my people.” No, He said “Follow Me” (Matt. 4:19).

Who will we follow? Some ask: Is God on America’s side today? Well, He is for those living in every nation. He is pulling for every one of us and each of us do have a choice to make regarding His Son. What America really needs is spiritual renewal and powerful awakening more than any experienced or less than experienced politician! Therefore my question is: Are Americans on God’s side? The answer: You can be ..as of today!

Is It Hard To Open Your Mouth?

Ever feel too shy to witness?

I know Someone that can help you. In fact we can do nothing of lasting value apart from Him. There is one Daysman, an Arbiter; a Mediator (and it ain't Mary as great as she was..) who has brought sinful me together with His Holy Father. And He continually helps me—just like He will you—to receive God's grace and pass it on.. to tell friends and family about what's most important.

How exciting is that? But how; you might ask ..when so many are trusting in worthless ways...I mean ways that are literally injurious. Yes, many people seem not to care, but where does it get them? But we must be there for them.

Listen, it's so unreasonable for man to think that he can build a bridge to God—that's just religion. But our practical non-religious God took the great risk motivated by love! He in His mercy, initiated reconciliation by building a bridge to man (and woman)—in sending Jesus Christ to die and to be quickened out of that stone-cold lonely hole in the ground. Afterward gobs of people saw Him too! He was God's only begotten sinless Son who spent a short lifetime courageously reaching out to touch hurting people, to heal and to save people. He might not have always felt like it, but after seeing them in such drastic need, He opened His mouth and gave them the unchanging truth. Yes, He offered themsince they had a choicethe only real and lasting Fix! Allow me to explain a bit more about man's weakness and God's WAY-STRONG ability.

The finite, those who seems so hopelessly bent towards dead religiosity when left to their own devices, could not reach out and touch the Infinite (no, no, could never be able to reach up to discover or find God).

Therefore the Infinite took the first step and has reach out to touch the finite (God intervened to rescue any human willing to turn and embrace the cross of Christ ..those kinda sound like churchy terms huh, but it's true).

That's the vast radical difference between every religious system down here and real Christianity! Ya gotta buy into it! Cost? Zero. You know that religion is basically man's attempt to reach up to God ..to gain a right standing with Him by works, but Christianity is God reaching down to man to care for him—to give him His righteousness free of charge. Hey, it's never been earn-able! And that's why Christianity is so reasonable and logical when every other religious system in the world is neither reasonable nor at all logical. Jesus is the only Way into true righteousness. And that's why evangelism is so smart!

It's a no-brainer! And that's why it's foolish and idiotic not to go for it --not to go for Christ I mean ..and not to go help your friends in the greatest way possible. Man, once we enjoy fellowship and real life during life, we feel we MUST go share it with others so they can receive real life too (see Jn. 1:12-13). Why be selfish? How can we not go, when there are so many needy loved ones and friends all around us? Man, if your brother or sister were sleeping in a house that just burst into flames in front of you.. you not feeling like getting involved with all that dirty smoke wouldn't hold you back would it? A normal person would act quickly. That's love! You say, but I'm afraid, Kurt! Well, think about how many people pay lots of money to go be very afraid on a ride at Disneyland, or in some cheap horror flick. Fear isn't always bad. I love scary roller coaster rides that hang a person upside down before it drops them a hundred feet! God's perfect love in you will cast out all fear of witnessing! FEAR THOU NOT DUDE!

The Gospel is good news only if it arrives in time. ~ Carl F.H. Henry

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. ~ Paul, Romans 1:16

Ever Get Missin' The Sea?

It's been awhile since this beach kid has been under the surface of the glorious waves. Do you get missin' the sea, as well? I used to have a baby pet sea lion in my backyard that I found while surfing (Salty wasn't sick due to global warming, but we got him some help). Later, he loved to go on walks in the park on my brother's dog leach. Also used to have a baby pet sea gull in California that grew up and took flight.

“The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.

For he laid the earth's foundation on the seas and built it on the ocean depths” (Ps. 24:2, nlt).

“You put us in charge of everything you made,

giving us authority over all things…the fish in the sea, and everything that swims

the ocean currents. O Lord, our Lord, the majesty of your name fills the earth!” (Ps. 8:6-9).

“The sea belongs to Him, for He made it. His hands formed

the dry land, too. Come, let us worship and bow down.

Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker" (Ps. 95:5-6).

You are also His property; not your own... so does He have full control of you?

What's Love Got To Do With It?

Did you know that during a time of prayer for believers and for those who would come to trust Christ through their witness, Jesus said that God the Father loves us as much as He loves Jesus. Wild huh! Yeah, Jesus boldly prayed to the Father saying, "You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me" (Jn. 17:23, nkjv). What do you think about that? Those are Christ's words, not mine...

"You loved them just as much as you loved me" (ncv).

"You love them as much as you love me" (nlt).

Jesus said, "The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God" (Jn. 16:27).

"As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love" (John 15:9).

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

Man's love is so, so, so small, but God is love. He is so big-hearted. Love is not God, but He is love. What's cool is that perfect love casts out all fear. But when we run out of love for those who are really tough to love, we can go back to God anytime ..asking Him to pour it in--requesting for Him to dump bucket loads into our hearts. He is like a huge reservoir of pure love ...and so much more than that! You can know and share His love today.

"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." (1 John 4:11).

Jesus tells us "I have loved you the same way the Father has loved me" (John 15:9a).

Presume nothin’, but include the weak, the far-from-popular and the forgotten lonely

Let me have a part to play in your great work. Please send it to me and through me. Yes, to us and through us — a biblical revival and an authentic awakening.

“Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” (Psalm 85:6)

It was a bright Spring day and I found myself headed down the hill to go surfing in Dana Point with my wise high school football coach, Randy Ziglar.

He was a 4A rated surfer from Hawaii and would just tear it up, so I always listened to him when his mouth opened.

On this particular day Randy kept talkin’ about his love relationship with Jesus Christ and I never knew he was the “religious type” but I still took it in.

Little did I know, but he wasn’t religious at all, but he was the Saturday night evangelist up the coast at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

I think some seeds where planted as he spoke from the heart to my heart. And you know, it really wasn’t too long after that day that I turned and trusted Christ in that area.

My life of unbridled folly had been disrupted by this coach who cared and the fourth Great Awakening in America a.k.a. the Jesus Movement. Am I where I want to be with wisdom today? Nope, haven’t yet arrived but I trust by His grace that I will arrive.

Can godly wisdom arrive via the Holy Spirit due to people repenting and praying for a mighty outpouring? Sure.

“This is a prayer of Habakkuk the prophet, according to Shigionoth: O LORD, I have heard the report of You; I stand in awe, O LORD, of Your deeds. Revive them in these years; make them known in these years. In Your wrath, remember mercy!” Habakkuk 3:1–2

“I will remember the works of the LORD; surely I will remember Your wonders of old.” (Psalm 77:11)

Have seen many young people delivered from very destructive lifestyles and they took hold of Jesus. There was such an outpouring during that great revival and God would heal those willing reprobates, or addicts of folly like myself. Fresh winds, and now they valued God and His wisdom instead of what they had before.

How many have there been? Four. Yes, we’ve had four Great Awakenings in America. The first, from about 1740 to 1742, was led by men such as Jonathan Edwards and George Whitfield. Around 50,000 people were added to the churches of New England during the First Great Awakening, which was indeed significant for a U.S. population of about 300,000 at that time.

The Second Great Awakening, from the 1790s to around 1840, was led by many, including that on-fire Charles Finney. This was during the days of the shoot em up Wild West, when camp meetings were often held in tents with sawdust floors, and different itinerant preachers came through sharing the Gospel. Thousands and thousands of Americans came to faith during this time.

America’s Third Great Awakening, from 1857 to 1859, which had a unique beginning. A 48-year-old businessman named Jeremiah Lanphier began a humble prayer meeting over in New York City. Though small, it just exploded after the stock market crashed, and within six months, 10,000 New Yorkers were gathering daily for prayer. Around one million people came to believe in Jesus during that Third Great Awakening.

Then we had the Fourth Great Awakening and this last one in American history went from the late 60s and early 70s. I along with many was privileged to have a front-row seat for it..on the carpeting. Church historians call it the Jesus Movement. In So Cal turned and trusted Christ back in 1977. Who knew? There I found myself in the middle of a full-blown spiritual awakening. Could it ever happen again? I pray it will cuz what else can properly address this mess here.

The serious problems of our culture can’t be cured by ballyhoo, endless boycotts, or even at the ballot box..though I tend to go there too.

This world today always seems to be in a state of disequilibrium. The problems are too numerous to mention and mounting higher. Our friends let us know when many news channels won’t. But there is a good treatment for what ails us. It’s not found in a pill or a protest or a political candidate. It’s found in the Christ — the wisdom and power of God the Father.

“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.” Romans 13:11

After being asked regarding the possibility of another future awakening or revival, Pastor Chuck Smith Sr. responded with, “Well, people were desperate for revival back then. I am not sure people are desperate enough right now.”

That may be true. How desperate are you and me — we? Will be still and wait upon the Lord in prayer? Will we commit to praying for an awakening?

The reality is that often we pray for prosperity in our nation and in our own lives. But the fact is that revival often explodes when there is calamity. Again, the Third Great Awakening happened after the stock market crashed.

“I have a theory.. that there is not a church, chapel, or mission on earth where you cannot have revival, provided there is a little nucleus of faithful people who will hold onto God until He comes down.

First, Let a few Christians — there need not be many — get thoroughly right with God themselves. This is the prime essential. If this is not done, the rest I am going to say will come to nothing.

Second, let them bind themselves together in prayer groups to pray for revival until God opens the heavens and comes down.

Third, let them put themselves at the disposal of God for Him to use them as He sees fit in the winning of others to Christ.

That is all. This is sure to bring revival to any church or any community. I have given this prescription around the world. It has been taken by many churches and many communities, and in no instance has it ever failed, and it cannot fail.” — R.A. Torrey

Revival starts with me, and you — us and then it affects the church and then it impacts the nation and then other nations. Can you believe God for revival and awakening inside you and then through you to others who are dead and asleep?

Here are five principles for an awakening:

-The Word of God was always taught the Word of God was always thought that keeps stability to us affect.

-Number three, people participated in the worship? We effectively saw what we know as just worship from the heart. Contemporary worship stated from this revival. Now, we have worship bands. Now, that was not happening in the late 60s. By the way, there were no electric guitars for the most part on church stages.

There were no drums. It was a whole different thing of his choirs and there’s nothing wrong with that. But I’m just saying it was different culturally and this is when all of this started to happen things that we’d take for granted now. But people engaged in worship, they would lift their hands and worship they would participate and worship.

-Number four, people brought non-believers to church and invitations were extended and kids were coming to Christ. Not just kids, people of all ages every week. There was that sense that God wants people to be saved, and fifth. And lastly there was a belief in and Constant teaching of the eminent return of Jesus Christ.

We believed that Jesus was coming back again (I think that God wants every generation believing that now due to the purifying affect) and some of you are thinking well you got that wrong by a long shot.

Didn’t you How many years has it been? Oh, quite a few but hey, we weren’t wrong. What is 40 years? 45 years to God. The Bible says to God, a thousand years are as a day.

So what is it? A millisecond. And by the way, the Bible says God is not late as some men count lateness, but he’s long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance True. We were praying for Jesus to come back in 1970, but aren’t you?

Glad he didn’t answer our prayer.

We shouldn’t live in the past, but we can learn from it.

Now, we can look at this generation and realize we need another Jesus movement now, more so than in the 60s and 70s.

Today we have riots in the streets, we have severe racial unrest, and we have a drug epidemic. There’s a sense of hopelessness in the air again.

How desperate are we for another Jesus Awakening? How desperate are we for another spiritual revival? The Prophet Habakkuk could understood this, when he prayed his prayer.

I’ve heard all about you. Lord, I filled with all by the amazing things you’ve done but in this time of deep need revive your work, as you did in years gone by show us your power to save us and in your anger.

So let’s try to understand what revival is.

Let’s strip the mystery away from the Word. What is it? Here’s a simple definition: It’s to come alive again, yes, nothing more or less than a new start of obedience to God. See, we’re not praying that non-believers have a revival. They don’t need a revival. They basically need to be vived — they’ve never been born again with salvation. The church needs revival.

This is a church word. This is for believers. Only who once were perhaps more alive than they are today and they need to be revived again.

”If all those sleeping people would wake up, if all the lukewarm people will fire up, if all the dishonest people will confess up. If all the disgruntled people will cheer up, If all the estranged people will make up. If all of the gossipers will shut up. If all God’s chosen soldiers would stand up. If all the dry bones would shake up all of the church. If people will pray up, then we can have a revival and I agree with that. ~Anon.

It’s Pretty Much Time For American's Of Any Party Etc... To Wake Up!

Loved one, dear fellow American, it's always good to understand exactly what's playing out before us.  More and more Nations and their constituents are deciding on what side they will stand -- on God's side according to the Bible, or on the side of this world's system (including dead religions) that's influenced by Mr. Lu-Cifer.

So much goin' down so fast before us. Not tryin' to scare anyone or come up with my own unique brand of whacko eschatology as so many do, but you already know, don't you.. what the Bible says'll happen in the Last Days?  I just want to encourage you to recognize the times and be ready. Are you ready for what'll happen? Here's my musings as of late...
  • A lot of Establishment people and other people are afraid, so I honestly never want to cause more people to fear. But you can see that the United States is at a critical crossroads today, and that this is one of the most significant times of her entire history. Sure, God is working here and it is still possible for this generation to experience an authentic spiritual awakening that could stem the tide of evil and gross darkness in our land (it's happened before when citizens got on their knees and confessed their sins), but we all need to be very awake!
  • How significant is America's relationship with Israel? How important is it biblically for us to regularly pray for the peace of Israel and to have a leader who not only stands with her, but is awake, experienced and ready to act to protect her as well as our own people? What are the consequences for the Church and this nation, if we remain biblically illiterate for the most part and misunderstanding what God's purposes are?
  • Do you really know what the goal of resurgent militant Islam is? Do Muslims worship the same God we do? Does it matter?
  • Islam has begun an aggressive sweep across the globe on a scale not seen for 500 years. What can history tell us about the clash of civilizations and worldviews looming before us?
  • Can our prayers, Bible study, fellowship, witnessing and godly living—starting at home—really make some kind of difference?
  • Does God still have a unique purpose for our nation here, America? I believe He does and we can still get on board with it as we fully get on board with Christ allowing Him to be Lord over every area.
What will we do about ISIS, Putin, China, North Korea and all the Refugees? Can we find a leader wise enough and man enough to deal with em all?

The Sons of Issachar back in the day.. in Bible times knew exactly what to do and we Americans in this century and decade also need to know!

Hey, I'm really no expert to speak of ..just an average citizen, but just the same…I want to passionately call the Church.. the Body of Christ to it's knees and to clearly understand the times that we live in. Don't just flow with the masses to do what they want to do! Please engage in fervent, educated, earnest intercession for this country and this upcoming election. I really feel it will go well for this people as we pray believing. Yes, and go read about the Sons of Issachar who back in the day, were basically commended in 1 Chronicles 12:32 as people "who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do."

Are you like that? If the Church is to arise and fulfill her calling in this hour, the wisdom of the Sons of Issachar must characterize each believer of this generation as well. Do you believe that we can still make a difference in this land and also worldwide by God's zealous grace? I do.. one life at a time as we sell-out to Jesus completely.. as we pray believing and obey Him. But I don't mean in is some weird herky-jerky, pushy or creepy religious sort of way. I've heard it said, "As the church goes, so goes the nation." How does the church go in your hometown?

Is it giving worship of Jesus, the Word of God and prayer preeminence in all its services in a winsome way? Is it out on the streets and in the workplace where the people are, evangelizing? How about in your community? Do you or your neighbors really care or are you all caught up in lesser temporal things? Are you worried about what your friends will think of you if you get involved?

Jesus said that He, "appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain" (Jn. 15:16, nkjv). Earlier in the same chapter, He said, "By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples" (Jn. 15:8, nkjv).

Today, with a partisan Congress filled with people looking out for themselves ..with our shaky economy at risk and our financial situation whacked by individuals who are running free from all fitting consequences...

With the election not far off, praying Christians must know the facts and consider the close affiliations regarding both of the candidates. Our close friends influence our thinking. That’s how it is for each one of us.

Yes, in light of what the Bible says, instead of looking to our own feelings each one of us must vote wisely on November 4th and also know our nation needs much more than a positive political outcome. It needs God to intervene.

Man, a lot is at stake in this election!

We can't afford to do what so many out-of-work, base, attention-craving, B-list celebs are pushing for. We can't afford a liberal victory politically for this country, because we would indeed lose more freedoms and free speech rights. Decent churches, pastors and missionaries will not be exempt either.

Christian, you and I are more known more for what we are against in this society ..instead of what we are for, but if we vote stupid, you and I will be in some hot water quick. You will not be allowed to say certain things about the destructive wrongs a particular group regularly does …when it's time for something to be clearly said!

Yes, we are for Christ and for the same freedoms our forefathers died to give us! We are for what is best not only for our own kids, but also for those of the lost people who live around us. But secular thinkers feel we are clueless about what is best. Perhaps it's because of religious wackos and charlatans of the past, bearing Christ's name. Whatever.. we must live to change all that!

What else? Every item of the homosexual agenda will be approved if we vote ignorant.. if we miss God's leading and vote wrong. All the laws protecting unborn babies (and possibly already born babies in spite of abortion attempts made on their lives) in the future will be gone completely.

Have we forgotten 9-11 already and that we haven't had an attack on American soil since then?

Think about this: In the four wars that Arab armies fought against Israel since the rebirth of their state (1948, 1956, 1967, 1973) the Muslim commitment and motto was: "Drive the Jews into the sea!" You know how Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad (who of course doesn't represent every Muslim) is demanding that Israel be "wiped off the map."

He and near-rabid Muslims still vehemently hate Jews, Christians and Westerners. They think about killing you and your kids every single day to please Allah (who is not at all the Bible God), and yet we must pray for and not hate those who hate us. Real Christians don't hate or murder people ..or foolishly bomb abortion clinics. We aren't vigilantes here who address the sins of others, by sinning in destroying them or their property (two wrongs don't make one right), even though we Christians have been broad-brushed by the media to all be like that.

Real Christians aren't anti-gay people or anti people of other religions, though we are certainly against the destructive beliefs and actions some people hold to. I want to love and reach gay people just like other sinners. Is it harder for God to save a homosexual than some hedonistic party animal like I was?

During these perilous volatile times I am for a strong defense militarily and for great vigilance at the top. I'm not only for great vigilance at the top, I want a leader who is experienced and ready to act in a moment’s notice to protect our citizens if needed. Do you remember how 9-11 caught us all off guard? I am not for our leader sitting down to negotiate in a politically correct way with avowed terrorists like Mr. Ahmedinejad without any prescribed conditions at all ..to legitimize them as reasonable people and to give what they say credence. Sure there's a place for diplomacy, but to sit down with radical Muslim extremists who repeatedly and overtly say they're committed to killing us and Israel ..that's idiotic-crazy!

Today there are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world and over 4 million of them live in the USA.

Many of them are our friends and wouldn't say they are out to hurt others. But listen, we have nothing "radical Muslims" want here, except the oxygen in our lungs. Radical Islam hopes to rule the world by force if that's needed, and obviously many think it's needed. That's why negations with them will never work—it's because of their intense beliefs that they value more than the infidels (you, me and the Jews).

Have you even read what their book says? They simply want to take their book seriously ..unlike many Christians do. Americans don't yet seem to understand that radical Islamists fully believe they will literally bring back the 12th Imam(1) ..a counterfeit Messiah for them, by first bringing chaos and destruction to this world ..especially to Israel (the little Satan) and to the big Satan (America).

Did you know Vladimir Putin (who seems to show only three letters in his eyes ..KGB) has his own plans regarding ISIS? Have you read about the Prince of Rosh, Meshech, Gog (Ezekiel 38:1-6) and the future war between Gog and Magog? You should in it's context, because it will happen in the not too distant future. The Bible says:
"Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 'Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: 'Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.'"

Did you know that the war of Gog and Magog will involve the forces of Russia and a coalition of Arab Muslim nations who will come and choke Israel in a murderous way ..from every side until there is no way for the Jews to make it or survive ..unless our God intervenes? And our faithful God will intervene for them. They are still the beloved apple of His eye; His chosen people. Listen, He never blows off any of His commitments or covenants like many people here do.

But how will we make our way through these perplexing issues, the future dangers and all the wild emotions of these times? We can make it in Christ! He has not appointed us (born again Christians) unto wrath. The Rapture of the Church will soon happen. I so hope you are ready! Take heed, for the Word of God still has the answers for us, Christian:

Here's how we can make it:

1.) We must keep a right spirit, stay compassionate and intercede. We must prayerfully maintain right priorities, right motives and understand that the times. We must also understand that the death of any human being diminishes the rest of us. We need to stay in the Word and in healthy Christ-exalting churches that have an evangelistic and Bible-teaching aim. We must cherish all types of people of every color, and mourn their deaths and not allow anyone to be murdered! Love always protects others. I choose to let God protect me.

We must…

2.) Fight the real enemy and win! We are to focus on the Lord and realize that Satan and his minions are the real enemies not people. Christians are to be gentle people of love. We seek to build relationships not to destroy them. Of course there is also a time for judgment and a time for war. I'm so grateful that our forefathers in this country fought in wars that were worth fighting in. It's so sad that they had to kill people in those wars (but unlike what many Christians think, the Bible never calls that type of thing "murder"). Until Jesus Christ returns and wins the ultimate war, wars and rumors of wars will be our lot. Sorry 'bout that – it's because of Adam's sin, our sins, not God's! Yes, the Bible accepts war in some cases ..for the protection of innocent people and the Bible even uses it to illustrate the rigors of spiritual discipleship in the believer's life. But remember, the devil is our primary enemy.

3.) Find the time to examine your own life. Before we get lost in the theological arguments of eschatology or of God's judgment on a country, we each should ask, "How does my life honor God who has blessed me so richly?" Am I right with Him and red hot in a born again Bible-based supernatural experience with Jesus ..as He wishes?

Hey gang, if I were not sure of my eternal destiny, I would be a very frightened person today. Jesus gives me peace in Him today. Has He given you this same assurance of salvation or do you merely hope He will grade on a curve and you will somehow be allowed to enter heaven when you die? The Bible says you can know in advance.

Please remember that the people who died in those 9-11 terrorist attacks weren't afforded a death bed conversion or much time to rethink their position on biblical salvation. Hopefully some got right with God, but how can we know for sure. Listen, if you ever plan on getting right with God, now is the time to be doing that!

4.) Faithfully continue to serve the Lord with full commitment. There is something we can do that will out-live each of us. We can build our lives on the Rock solid foundation of Jesus Christ and also win others into that excellent relationship with Him. We can use our time, talent and treasure (and I'm not after your treasure with this statement ..I'm after you) to influence others in extending God's Kingdom globally—the most powerful Kingdom that will have no end.

5.) Pray and find strength in Jesus Christ. We need to forgive people and first find needed forgiveness in Christ. We must go before the Lord for this land, intelligently vote wisely, looking to God to meet all our needs ..instead of to this world's system. Yes, we are to look to Him to protect us and to guide us in all matters of daily living ..with godly character.

During any upcoming election, a nation like ours is very vulnerable. We don't want the wrong leader put in. An evil person with charisma and magnetic verbal abilities can win when vital facts are ignored or trivialized. Let's pray that God's choice will be put in. You know that Satan is currently the ruler of this world's system, and that is the case due to popular vote so to speak. I won't judge the candidate's hearts. Both are flawed; one far more than another, but most of humanity (on the broad path) and a third of the angels historically have opted for the evil one. Some have voted to reject Christ outright, and others have by default. They simply put Christ, repentance and trusting Him off ..preferring their sin instead. What about you?

It's a good day to be in Christ! I don't ever want to be some negative prophet of doom not offering a Solution. Be reminded that the light shines brightly in the pitch blackness of the darkest night. That's not just some sweet Hallmark kind of theology. I earnestly ask you to join with God's praying people everywhere in understanding the times, in praying for our leaders and in voting so that we can become beacons of hopeful illumination during these defining moments of our national existence.
(1) He is also known as the 12th Imam and he can only return during a time of worldwide chaos (hell on earth caused by radical Muslims). The 12th Imam is the son of 11th Imam al-Hasan al-Askari, who died in 874 in a prison in Samarra (in present day Iraq) without leaving a son and successor. After Imam al-Hasan al-Askari died the teaching arose that he did have a son after all, the 12th Imam, who was called Mohammed ibn Hasan al-Mahdi al-Muntazar. He disappeared and is "hidden" by Allah until the time when he is revealed as the Mahdi (messiah). Enshrining a Myth: The al-Askari Mosque in Samarra, Iraq houses the specific cellar where the 12th imam ostensibly disappeared from.
